it'd be nice if the beta had more than all white furniture... makes my eyes go vanilla.

The other day in Home, someone was running from me away in the mall, and I yelled "SECURITY!" too bad no one came to my aid.
 
Yup, I can add the arcade machines too.
They're good for decoration at least, for the moment.

Yeah home is pretty goofy right now, I just got on yesterday so I'll join the CAG club tommorow.

Right now its obviously not too impressive, but there's definately a backbone for some pretty cool customization stuff and wide spaces.



I'm kinda suprised how small the places are though. When I see mall I expect a big huge place, not a 2 tiered dome!



I definately have hope for the future though.







Also randomly! I hate the moving animation, does anyone else? It reminds me of how you looked like a robot running in the first star wars KOTOR.
 
So, been trying out Home. Pretty useless.

It can be fun sometimes socializing, but it's sort of to hard to do that. I always thought home was going to be constantly running in the background, and it was integrated with the console. it kind of makes it pointless if you have to go through a bunch of steps just to get into Home. I'm also displeased with the amount of loading between zones, and the lack of ability to find people you were chatting with in another zone.
 
I also thought it was going to be a background program. As is, I probably wouldn't load it up much. According to a friend who got in the beta eariler this year, they actually had a few more stuff to do, but they took it out for this portion of the beta or whatever. So hopefully there is actually much more in the final release.
 
This has got to be the most amusing thing I've seen in quite some time.

Log in this morning, dude is just standing in front of the radio dancing away. People randomly come up and join.

Go bowling. Have a guy from Kuwait on my team. He gets called a towel head.

Some girl is doing the running man on a guy sitting down.

Yep.
 
I will join in too! I got the Namco beta but gave it to someone else on accident thinking it was another Home Beta. He might let me download it.
 
I need to go in there again probably tonight but the experience I had was decent. I can see how this will get fleshed out in the future. Nothign spectacular at the moment but it is something to do.

I just got my HOME Beta invite today! whee! Can't wait to get home to download it after work. Hope to see some fellow CAGS on tonight. What's this load test tonight about?
 
I got selected for the Home beta today, and well, I don't even own a PS3, nor will I in the near future, so, any reputable CAG looking to get in (non newbie/lurker) shoot me a PM, and it's yours.

no the load test is between those times if your in the beta your in 4 life

Still haven't gotten one to either of my PSN accounts... If anyone happens to come across a second one, I'd glady take it off your hands...

Funny thing is, my brother, who got his account nearly 3 months after me, got his today. Ugh.
 
Anyone have a list of every item (clothing, furniture, objects) that you can unlock in Home so far? I believe most of these are from playing the arcade games.

Is that where it all went ?

If that's true , they should have just added new things instead of taking the older stuff away .

It's not full, there are only about 4 people in it so far.

Just search CAG, and apply.

I talked to both of the devs today during the little 'event' but they didn't tell me anything useful.

Unfortunately, my promotion still won't let me add furniture. I can send and accept invites but only leaders can do the furniture.

If there is only four people in your CAG club there must be another CAG club also, one that has like 200-30 or more people. Which has nothing in it except two bulletin postings.

Well I was on Home for three hours eariler today with a friend of mine. We bowl a couple of games and did random stupid stuff the rest of the time. I started a mini dance party at the bowling ally. Than went to the mall which seem to just be people dancing and talking. Where I than did what another CAG did, and became mall security in my Echochrome suit and broke up groups of people. My friend made a fat, gay black guy and started hitting on everybody, guys and girls. Home can be fun if you don't take it all too serious since there isn't much now and I doubt whatever they add will actually make me want to constantly log into it instead of playing a real game.
 
Wait - how many CAG clubs are there? I am in the one with the 2 bulliten postings on it. And I keep putting my bubble machine in the clubhouse, and when I go back its gone :( Does it go away or what?
 
I have to agree. I don't see any hype over this at all. Lets see you can play chess and do the running man. You might be able to get in touch with people but maybe not if the area you are in is big. Clubs will cost money. Really, I see no reason why anyone cares about this thing.
