I agree with Ex~ here. Please watch this video and tell me where there is any indication that Yoda and Darth Vader aren't available together in the same game.

I really can't think of any other time I've ever seen platform specific characters from the same universe, and that video above is full proof that Namco released marketing materials that show both Yoda and Vader, and that don't at all talk about console exclusive characters. Now of course WE all know they're console exclusive characters, but the above video is proof that some gamers could get a very different impression. We're hardcore, and we follow gaming news, but someone who just sees that on youtube after hearing they're making a new Soul Calibur game, they could EASILY get the impression that they'll be able to play as Yoda and Vader with one purchase.
SC II had console exclusive fighters, but not from the same universe where you'd think they belonged together! I actually can't think of any other time I've seen this, and if Namco ends up selling an unlock for Yoda on PS3, or Vader on 360, rather than a true download of those characters, I'm going to be pissed.
None the less, thankfully this is just a matter of principle for me, and I really couldn't care less about playing as Star Wars characters in a Soul Calibur game.
[edit] And I just saw a flash ad that showed both Vader and Yoda, and didn't mention any specific console or anything about exclusivity. What Namco is doing here is just misleading bullshit, and if you disagree with that then you are wrong.
