Starcraft Game Arrangement Thread. Also, buy House of the Dead: Overkill

I've got my Urban Dead duties at the moment. Maybe later. fuck calculus homework.

EDIT: Ready to roll out! I am about to drop the hammer, and dispense some in-di-scrim-i-nate jus-tice!

Pretty much every night around 7:30ish (PST) we (me and 2 others) play.

Then at around 10:00, another person joins us.

So, if you're looking for a game, be in the channel around those times.

On the final Brood War level, which makes me feel sad, since I know I have to win it, and I kind of don't want to, because Kerrigan is a bitch.

The video at the end is great!! (unlike Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn).

It makes the (if memory serves, years ago) really difficult mission totally worth it. (unlike Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn).
The video at the end is great!! (I suck at Starcraft, videogames in general, and life).
Actually, while the video's good, the really good bit is the hidden ending you get for completing the mission quickly (I think). That bit's absolutely classic. Like, Sixth Sense classic.

(Unlike attempting to have a rational conversation with me).
Still not as cool as... well, pretty much anything Tassadar did. That guy was fucking awesome. He made Darth Vader sound like a eunuch.

CK: No.
That was DuGalle. Stukov was killed earlier by Duran, though in a semi-canonical map, Stukov was revived by the Zerg and later de-infested.

Jarvis: Going on in a minute.

Being rational is overrated, just like Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.

Being BattleChicken is overrated, just like learning to use the new multi-quote feature.

EDIT: Will not be around tomorrow or Saturday.

Someone is awful sensitive.. resorting to ad hominem attacks than addressing why you like crappy games.

But I'm getting bored of this, back to lurking I go.

Ad Hominem attacks are overrated as well.

I'm actually pretty indifferent to Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.. I owned the game or about 3 days. It remained unopened, and then I returned it for Mass Effect.

Why isn't Mass Effect (or some other equally good game) getting some face time in your subject line? Its been FE:RD for months.

Because as a general rule, Bioware games don't need any more exposure. Go into Roland's thread and compare KotOR sales to Path of Radiance.

And in case you're wondering, I've managed to get access to a friend's computer, but no SC.

EDIT: There, BC. I changed it. And in case you're wondering, I have a major chubby for No More Heroes right now.

The subject line is now BattleChicken Approved (tm)
Are you guys playing regular SC or the Expansion?
is there really anyone that still only plays vanilla Starcraft? Of course everyone's playing Brood War

Beat the campaign sometime last week.

Never underestimate an army of about 60 hydralisks. You don't need other units when you've got those guys tearing shit up.

I was going to try these Enslavers scenarios, but 1) I can't figure out how to run them, and 2) it appears squeezing ice out of my dick seems like a better use of time, according to various comments on the 'net.

Hydras are fantastic fucking units. Great cost-to-usefulness ratio. But fuck, do I ever love Psi Storm-ing them. Unlike Lings, they actually cost something, and they have enough HP that you aren't just electrocuting air. Unlike Goons, they can be killed by a single storm - even if you try moving them out of it, sometimes. Plus, they're small enough to mass up rather well for a good electrocuting.

Does anyone know how to run StarCraft in windowed mode? Every program/command line code I've found through Google has failed. Old Blizzard titles look like crap on a 24'' widescreen monitor...

I'm also having this problem with WarCraft II Battle.Net Edition...

I don't think it's really that possible

Of course it looks like crap, it's a 1998 game

yeah, but it looks even worse stretched across my big screen. At this point I'll probably have to run it under virtualization so I can shrink the window down.

Crotch: I've played the game for about an hour total in my life; you wouldn't have any fun playing against me :)
