People buy the Witcher 3 because they actually want to play it. It's not some Unity asset flip or RPG Maker paint by the numbers if this were 1992 game from a Poopees Bundle.

A +1 is a game that literally the only value it has to you is to increase your game count. and maybe cards but they're barely even worth it at this point
Every so often there's a worthwhile +1, but I really think it helps if it's a puzzle, hidden object or asset management style game... they're usually not as truly dull as the Unity asset flips, and typically the actual game play is far better than the paint-by-number RPG maker stuff.

Yes but those are games you buy thinking they are crap and then try them out and they surprise you. It's not for AAA stuff that you know (or hope) will be good and intend to play and didn't just get for pennies.

Goddamnit. First foil card I get in months is for Shantae in a jewel bikini and I can't even sell it because of the stupid two week wait on market sales.

Oh and the game glitched on me so I can't get the "all hearts" achievement.

People actually play their games to get card drops?

If you think two weeks is bad, wait until 6 months goes by and nobody still buys it.

The foil market is dead. Unless you are willing to sell for 5 cents.

Yeah, foils are shitty now.  Not worth it.  And gems are even harder to find nowadays in all the indie bundle trash.  I feel like any half decent indie game gets a ton of hype and refuses to be bundled for months until Humble Monthly.

I don't know, there seems to be some stuff that kind of flies under the radar.
For instance, I recently played and enjoyed "Reverse Crawl", which was one of the games indie gala was giving away a copy of "free with purchase" recently. Sure, there's a whole lot more misses than hits, and since Valve has completely given up on trying to curate things, it does require more effort on your part... plus actually knowing the sort of games you'd enjoy.

But, ain't nobody got time for that. (It still feels nice unearthing hidden gems and sharing them with people, though.)

Started playing Just Cause 2 yesterday after owning it for years...I'm impressed with how fun it is despite being one of the most repetitive games I've ever played. Blow up everything, parachute to a new location, blow up everything, rinse repeat. Solid 7.75/10

You should have joined us bros for MP. Maybe we should schedule that again. It was stupid fun.

Just Cause 3 is fun too, but too bad they did went backwards in someways.

btw. It doesn't have Steam Cloud so you might want to manually backup your saves.

Would you guys go with a Blackwidow chroma or Strafe RGB w/MX Blues?
I think the Chroma has better lighting, but cheaper build quality. It's mostly plastic. The lighting is... cleaner, if that makes sense, whereas Corsair lighting bleeds out of the sides more. The switches themselves felt fine, but something about the keycaps felt a bit off. I'm also not a big fan of the font used on the keys.

I can't speak on the Strafe specifically, but Corsair boards are made of really high quality materials. You can definitely see and feel the difference. The K70/K95 base is basically a big aluminum slab. It looks great and feels reassuringly solid. The wrist rest is covered with a nice, soft, rubbery material.

The build quality, and the fact that they use Cherry switches rather than Razer's proprietary ones, would definitely make me go with the Strafe.

I'd get Browns rather than Blues, but I guess that's personal preference. Same tactility, less noise.

I tried a non-RGB Blackwidow and wasn't too impressed. The K70 RGB I'm using is my favorite purchase of the past several years. It is truly a joy to use.

use desktop authenticator?

He's in Mexico so he probably doesn't have a smart phone (you still need one to initially sign up for the SDA/Winauth). Either that or he's got some paranoid reason he doesn't want to because Foxhack.

What about a battleblock theater bronight?

Vs mode is hilarious. I used to play that mode with some friends

That's some weird logic right there. Why not redeem the Dark Souls key right now and try it out rather than get a used copy of a different game for a console? Dark Souls isn't worth that much anyway, maybe a few dollars resell value.
But why do that when I can do something much more complicated? Eh, you're probably right. I just keep thinking I could offload the key for $5 in the trash thread if I didn't use it, but if I were really going to do that, I probably would have done it already.

Gamersgate has Zombie (Uplay) for $5 and Last Crown Halloween (Steam) for $2.99.

I think both are lows, too lazy to check.  Last Crown is like mini sequel to Lost Crown mini prequel to Last Crown which is the next game in the series due later this year.

Ive had my eye on Zombi for a while, but its got tepid reviews. It'll most certainly hit 75% off during summer sale so will probably just get it then so I can use Gabenbux. This is the first time Ive thought of summer sale since Winter and the stupid changes they made.

I bought Zombi at launch (thankfully from Nuuvem) and played it for a night. No real drive to go back. Pretty generic zombie killer with the little twist of a "new" character each time you die.

Anyway, nothing to rush for and waiting for it to be $5 in Gabenbux makes sense.

Why do you guys moran those mystery Gleams? You know if they don't announce what games are in it then it's not going to be something that's being given away free for the first time and there's a 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% chance you already have it.

The thrill of getting in on one before "This giveaway has ended"

It will be a long time before I support Ubisoft again... but at least that game is a solo experience.
LOL. I only laugh because I can relate to your reasoning behind the lack of Ubi support.

The BS was strong last night, as I still don't understand some of the odd things that happened.

The original ZombiU was ok.  The pad gimmick was kind of what sold it, which is sad.  Having to physically look way from your screen to see what's in your inventory could add stress in a good way.  Didn't realize that was such a big part of it until I saw it being advertised for PC.

Yeah, I had a good luck run on those random gleam giveaways a week or two ago.  Kept getting a +1 back then.  If I don't know what games are possible, and it doesn't have 8 billion actions, I'll go ahead and do it.
