Rip in peace NOLF
I remember reading that earlier this year but, yeah, dick move. NOLF was so close to seeing the light of day once more. It's a shame they'd turn away a guaranteed paycheck and take away the chance for new gamers to experience an absolute classic franchise.

Just to update you people regarding missing FF keys from your recent Nuuvem purchases...

Hello Dumbass

We have run out of keys for these games, but we are currently chasing the publisher to get a new batch of keys and assign the key to your order asap. We expect that this will be done by next week.

I'm very sorry for this inconvenience and if you are not willing to wait for the key, please, let us know and we can issue a refund to your Paypal account.
Atenciosamente,

Fabio

Bleh @ being reminded of no more NOLF re-releases, HD version, or sequels coming b/c of this crap. :(

Dammit, Warner Bros!

Now I am picturing some Brazilian dude with long hair, because he's Fabio, chasing some Square Enix rep down the street.

I think they were like $5 or something. The actual percentage off wasn't that great, it was just the exchange rate from crap Brazil currency that made it seem better.

If it was a 75% off and at Brazil prices then that would really be hot shit.

So what were the Nuuvem prices on FF, anyway? I missed it, but I doubt they would have been low enough to get me to bite anyway.
Non-VPN'd...

Final Fantasy VIII $3.76
Final Fantasy XIII $5.79
Final Fantasy XIII-2 $7.24

Edit: Corrected for actual exchange rates.

Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2 combo pack has been cheaper on German amazon.

It was a physical box with printed steam codes and a coaster.

MysterD is like the ultimate stealth troll.

I'm having the itch to Flowette something, but none of my want games are hitting that sweet $10 or less purchase price.  Oh well. Anyone watching the DOTA Championships?  I remember the nerds walking around Seattle every year with their giant should swag bags and feeling jealous.  I miss Seattle.

What was the price for the pack?

And idea how much was International shipping to USA?

Was the key ROW? Region Restricted?

 Well that's nice for Nazis who are still living in 1996 but in the real world the rest of us didn't exactly have access to that deal.

TL;DR - Shipping Kills It

You must not have gotten the memo that there's supposed to be a big earthquake and tsunami that's going to kill us all here soon.

Oh, I got the memo. That's the reason I miss Seattle but am not trying to actively get back there. Not until it hits and you guys rebuild.

So when you guys are all dead, can I have your fish market?

It's just that I know several people in need of a good fish slapping.

Pike Place or Big Fish? Yes we have the granny games market cornered too.
I seriously considered applying there since it was like a 15 minute walk/5 minute bus ride from my apartment. But then I might have been trapped in Seattle for life and been there for the big one.

That new Spider game Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon looks to be a sequel of The Secret of Bryce Manor on Iphone. That was a solid game. Pleasant, relaxing soundtrack. Gunpoint-esque leaping spider trying to eat bugs set against the backdrop of a ruined manor and mysteries blah blah blah. It was great fun and my first impressions of the new game are pretty positive too. They seem to have taken a real shine to score chasing mechanics to add replay.

Nuuvem needs to do a FF Humble Bundle like they did for the Lego games. That's about the right price point for me for games that have historical collector's value only. Maybe I'd boot up 13-2 and play through the first hour, but that's probably it.

As long as keys are separate an no VPN needed - I like the idea of a Nuuvem FF bundle.

I don't need a key for FF13-1.

I just need the rest of 'em that are on Steam - i.e. FF3,4,7,8,13-2.

I agree about FF games being collector's items. I like the idea of me playing those again... But I don't have the patience to play the "1 fight every 6 steps" gameplay anymore

I'm sure it's probably been mentioned but gmg has the metro redux bundle for 10 bucks, post voucher that's about 7.50 or so. Fwiw I played metro 2033 and wasn't a huge fan but the games reviewed well and a lot of people seem to like them even if I DON'T.

And if you own one of those 26% personal vouchers GMG gave a couple of days ago, the metro redux bundle is even cheaper.
