This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

Free $5 Credit with Qualifying Purchase

Download one of the below games from Underground and receive a $5 credit on applicable purchases. Not all select games may be compatible with your device.

• Offer only applies to products sold by Amazon.com or digital content sold by Amazon Digital Services, Inc. (other than certain digital content).

Hmm... what could that "certain digital content" be?

Steam games of course. fuck Amazon :(
Do you need to have an Android device for this?

I've just shadied Metal Gear Solid V.

Can somebody beat me around the head with a fish if it's gone from my account when I finally get to play it in a week or two's time.

:grouphug:

Can you tell me how can I buy this at $12?
Unless you're legitimately Russian, living in a Russian Russia and you take your tea with wodka and drive to work in a Lada where you oversee enemies of the people at the gulag as they make babushka dolls for filthy Western tourists...

you don't want to be buying Russian-locked games.

Hmmm. I feel like there should be a bear or two in the above scenario.

To further clarify: Sometimes you can get games for less money from other regions. You will need a VPN to do this since you normally can not access a retailer's Russian (or Brazilian or whatever) store from the US. This only works, however, if the game itself is not region locked.

If a game IS region locked, it's just not worth it. You would need to use a VPN not only to buy it but also to activate it on Steam and then use the VPN every time you wanted to play it since Steam now does region checks when you launch a game. You would run a legitimate risk of getting flagged and losing access to your game.

You'll sometimes hear people talk about getting a game from out of region, in which case it's not locked. Whether or not a game is region locked is largely up to the publishers -- some seem to always lock their stuff, some only lock their newer titles, some don't seem to lock anything at all. Feel free to ask when it comes up but the reason no one will help you get DiRT Rally for $13 is because it's not actually available for $13 -- someone just made a mistake about it not being locked.

Brodate:

We played GRID Autosport as promised. It went as predicted. Spoder won a lot. I crashed into people. People got annoyed at me crashing into them. Fun game. Not really sure how it compares to 1 or 2 though we played at least one of those before. Definitely not as good as The Crew though. We don't have any games scheduled for next week. Any suggestions?
Carmageddon

Also Spoder claims he got Dirt Rally on eBay cheap and he probably did but the last several times I looked there really haven't been any great deals for it.

There's one listing for $9 now but it's a bid auction with a day and a half left so highly unlikely to sell for close to that price when the listing is done.

Giants: Citizen Kabuto is free on GOG for 48 hours.

It's a giant banner at the bottom of the main page.

For those who like to +1 outside of steam.

Spoder won't even pay for his own shit, unless it's some weeboo console stuff.
Spoder tried to talk me into Kickstarting some weeboo visual novel nonsense yesterday about a kid with vampire blood trying to boink girls. Which made me wonder if being part of an "ancient vampire bloodline" meant potentially easier college admission, like being 1/16th Cherokee.

One of these days I'm gonna make a brodate,  I installed grid autosport yesterday, fired it up a little after the brodate started then the wife got home from work, dogs went crazy, woke up the kids, all hell broke loose.  One day I'll make a brodate, maybe when we have a ARK night?

Me neither. :(

I'll give her some milk to go with those cookies, if you know what I mean... Does that work?
On that note there's some pictures with the girls covered in ostensibly 'snow' that gives a bit of different impression.

I guess for the Sakurai makers "all ages" means as much raunchiness as they can get away with without getting kicked off of Steam.

Did someone say Snow!? Time to go boom boom down!

It was one of those buy it now auctions that had the "make an offer" feature enabled. I offered $9 and he accepted. I haven't found it as cheap as that since then.

Thanks for the help!

All ages is an existing term for visual novels. Just means the non-18+ version. It doesn't mean it's rated E.

For example, the "all ages" Clannad is rated Cero C, which is 15+.

Why aren't you in the RightStuf thread talking about Pokemon TV show edits and how a $90 BR set of anime you can watch online for free doesn't provide subtitles for Japanese audio commentary tracks by the producers?

Cause I'm too busy ordering a 3' tall sex doll.

Whatevs. We speak murican here not snooty Weeabooese. All ages mean all ages God dammit and you can take you fancy pants mangling of the Murican language and shove it in one of them thar dukimokora pillows!

Agatsuma Entertainment, publisher of Umihara Kawase, is kill.

If you want the Steam versions, you may want to buy them sooner rather than later.

The developers still exist, Agatsuma only published the games. I suppose the games will continue to be available somehow, being bankrupt hasn't hurt other devs much.

Hey, Moobs, you smurfing your way to a Vulture mount?
Haven't broken down yet. Got 4 caggers to sign up but only one hit level 10 (I think Fatality?) rest of you are too lazy! I think you can actually play a training game and go afk for experience. The system won't boot you and it's impossible to lose.

The excitement of Sugar Plum Sylvanis was too much to bear, had to Alt+F4 and go back to The Witcher 3.

Should've mentioned this earlier. I would've idled it by now.
