Someone talk me out of buying game of thrones for 15 dollars on steam. My backlog is just silly, probably over a hundred games and I will never play half of them. GoT would go to the top of the list though

Either get off the ledge or jump. No one likes a procrastinator.

It will be discounted by the Winter Sale to about $5.

I've enjoyed Merc Kings so far, but I see how people wouldn't. Sort of a weird hybrid of a few things, sort of a Metal Slug Metroidvania. I really like the art style too. All the impressive sprite stuff from Scott Pilgrim The Game without the Scott Pilgrim feel.

The missions seem completely based on luck and even worse, they're fucking timed. There is nothing i hate worse than an arbitrary time limit to accomplish some menial task . "Get 2 Pelts" I murdered countless foxes over the course of 6 minutes and only, somehow, stumbled upon 2 pelts in the last 15 seconds. Is that intentionally bad design or just stupidity? I can't decide.

A reminder for the Tremor bros. No TIme to Explain is 295 coins there, in case you previously missed it. The cool thing is getting it gives you both the original and the remastered version, both of which have cards.

Buy it! I bought it, and it looks... err... the same as all my other games in my backlog.

wait wat? I have like 2500 games I'll probably never play on Steam all thanks to these goddamn bundle sites

It's kinda cute that you think "probably over a hundred" is a lot. And I mean cute as in the "oh look, that chimp has Downs' Syndrome and is trying to mate with that deflated Patriots football" sort of way.

be nice to the newbie

Still holding out for Five Nights at Freddie's 5: Nights at Freddie's

Now it takes place within the confines of your own mind! No need for actual narrative structure when you've got a fortune cookie plot and obscure hints and puzzles that would make a Sierra game weep, all leading towards a totally ambiguous not-actually-the-end ending.

When will BRINK be 99% off?
When it's DRM-FREE in the 1st tier some kind of Zenimax/Bethesda/Id Software/Splash Damage Humble Bundle.

Which'll probably be never at DRM-FREE to penny in, since Zenimax games mostly require Steam.

99% of $19.99 = 20 cents.

Though, could wind up at a little weaker than 99% off, if they offer a Steam key for Brink at $1 in a HB.

He wants it for 99% off because he needs to buy a video card with enough vram. Gotta save money when you are trying to get enough vram. VRAM

New clicker game called Time Clickers!

http://store.steampowered.com/app/385770/?snr=1_4_4__tab-PopularNewReleases

F2P and looks really dope! For all my clickerbros!
Oh no... I can only handle one of these at a time. I realized I spent hours babysitting a run yesterday. If I could idle it, open it, and then complete my tasks in a few minutes I'd be just fine. It's when I start wanting to fine tune my hero levels or I start watching for clickables that I get sucked in.

This stuff is like crack, people. Stay far away!

I hate you.
This one is cool because you have to aim and shoot blocks.

If any tremorbros don't have No Time To Explain you can get it from there for pretty cheap. It's the original delisted version and comes with the remastered one as well (it doesn't mention the new one but it does activate with it).

Oh! Well if I can shoot blocks.... :D/

Seriously though, I don't know what all you clikerbros see in these games. I had more than enough of it during the summer sale.
The summer sale clicker game was really the most horrendous, buggy POS clicker game I've ever played. That's like playing Aliens CM and saying "I don't know what you guys see in these FPS games"

I guess I'll take your word for it Fox!

Related:  I didn't think Aliens CM was as bad as everyone made it out to be - it was certainly worth $2!

Completely Unrelated:  Currently playing Watch_Dogs - and while I think it's decent and enjoy the city and game mechanics - I think it suffers greatly from a lack of a sense of humor.  It seems to try way to hard to be dark/gritty/depressing and I think they missed a great opportunity with the privacy invasions (at least) to inject a few laughs/lighten the mood a bit.  Instead, the privacy invasions are always either boring or depressing.

Also, holy crap with all the side-missions Ubisoft!  While I am all for more content in my video games, I would have loved it if they gave you the opportunity to hide the icons for things I didn't feel like dealing with (example: I did 5 convoy missions and don't care to do any more).

This ends my unsolicited mid-game review of Watch_Dogs.

If A:CM was worth two bucks, Clicker Heroes is obviously worth zero bucks.

I thought they sometimes tried to add a little humor into the hacks although, yeah, it was usually still depressing.

"I was so nervous when I saw my boss!"

"What happened"

"He said I was getting promoted then I threw up on him!!!"

"OMG you're going to get fired!"

"I know!"

I just made that up but, yeah, that's what it's like. Or there's a video hack (for real) where you see some dude sneak out of bed and turn on his computer which immediately starts playing super loud porn, then his wife starts to wake up and the guy is all "Oh, shit..."

I mean, ha ha, guy got caught with super loud porn but the whole "sneak out of bed, get caught, now you're going to fight with your wife" scenario was still pretty depressing.

I'm not saying it couldn't have been funny if they did it right.  I'm just saying that the way they did it wasn't even darkly funny imo, it was just sad.
