This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

I'm a console peasant as well so my jokes are sort of tongue in cheek. But some of the animosity isn't PC-centric. Like there's a lot of console peasants who still find the lengths some people go for deals/flipping to be a little past the "worth it" point. Specifically, at this site the PC gamers were sort of all forced into this thread due to constant bitching from people when individual PC deals were posted so I'm sure there's some animosity about that. Some people just genuinely think it's stupid to buy consoles with games gimped at 30 FPS and seemingly overpriced. Also many people find the prices of console games to be overpriced. Also console fanboys tend to be dicks too and tend to be the most active ones in their respective threads. Dicks, Dicks, everywhere.

I love the PC for its cheap deals from digital stores to bundle sites. GreenManGaming, Steam, Amazon, Humble Bundle, BundleStars - always cheap games + deals to be found. So many sites, so much competition - always a deal to be found, if you just wait and/or keep your eyes open. Often, these deals here on the PC are way better straight-up than any of the deals you can find on console games.

I love the PC for its tons of customization that often is allowed w/ PC games. I can choose resolutions; go w/ whatever game settings they provide me that suits me + my system; used 3rd party app's to control my performance (EVGA Precision X, NVidia Control Panel, etc); switch out or add hardware to my system to improve performance; throw mods into my game if I want to keep my game alive and/or improve the game; or whatever.

On the regular - sure, all the time. Keep on looking. Don't miss 'em, keep your eyes open. They come + go. Plenty of worthwhile Summer Sales been happening, on the regular of late - GMG; GamesPlanet; etc. Though, most of those are done.

My wife spent $1400 on a fridge at Best Buy today. She got a good deal and got $1230 off for a nickel size dent in the front handle. She handed me a $50 Steam card. I think she knows how to tame the beast when she spends.

Now that I have a Steam balance, there will be nothing noteworthy on sale for a month.

I read it as she got 170 off and accidentally wrote what she paid instead of how much she got off. Because if she really only paid 170 for a 1400 dollar fridge how are you supposed to get mad at that unless you just got a new fridge recently.

Now i feel like i need clarification though

Which is funny.. because my wife would be a smart ass and leave my milk and butter on the counter and tell me that since I didn't wanna foot the bill all my food was forfeit.

I'm also not the kinda guy who'd buy his wife a fridge and say Merry Christmas.... so there is that.

 
Not to derail the refrigerator discussion, but anyone have any personal experience with G-sync monitors? I spent last night and all of today reading about them, but I wanted to know what others thought.

At this low price for another 14 hours or so. A truly hidden gem, and my now favorite bullet hell shooter on steam.

Give this one a chance, it is very accessible due to a good tutorial, has decent graphics options, and an awesome soundtrack.

Now go sell a few steam cards and grab this one!

Ill fire it up now and check.

EDIT: He's still in the game. The thing is I dont think they'll pull him from the PC version since that version is all inclusive. There is no DLC. Its all in the game rather than separate packs. It sounds like they're removing him from future sales and the standalone console version of his DLC. Remains to be seen if any changes are made.

At any rate, gonna back up his .pac files.

I can't speak for PC or console versions. I don't own a console; yet I don't own PC version yet.

I'm definitely curious if it's been silently removed from future downloads of PC version.

BTW, WWE + 2K did a horrible job of scrubbing Hogan media from PC side of WWE2K15 page. There's still pics of the Hulkster on the Steam game's main page from 2K + WWE, if you look through the pics on the page. And that's nothing to do w/ user-uploaded stuff!

You know gamers probably might've already backed-up their files; have Hogan DLC; and if need be might put him back into the game as a CAW (Create-A-Wrestler). I'd guess if they do/did remove Hogan officially, I also wonder if they're gonna pull the Benoit thing and stop players from using Hogan CAW's (Create-a-Wrestlers) when online, too. Maybe they'll iissues online bans for those using those characters? I don't know.

If they are pulling Hogan, people should get refunded for whatever the cost of the Hogan $DLC is.

A fridge with Wi-Fi? Just what I need...to come home and see some little douchebag hacked my fridge and turned the fridge to frozen, the freezer off and used the ice maker to fill my kitchen with ice. On the other hand I could grab a beer, watch porn, eat an ice cream cone and cry all in the exact same area...
