Rebel Galaxy 2 development continues.  From some of the voicework and the fact that they're going to have 20 hours of licensed music seems like they will have space radio stations.

The Evil Within 2 PC retail box (Steam key inside) is $13 on NewEgg with Free Shipping.

You need the promo code from the e-mail for that price.

I played the tutorial once. I don't know how Activision is going to handle COD though since OW is Blizzard direct. I don't believe they've done a Destiny 2 free weekend, just a trial.
I'm hoping we will at least see a trial or free mode for the Battle Royale gamemode.

I can't see CoD's blackout mode competing with Fortnite with it being free already.

00:36.00 is for multiplayer

00:53.00 is for zombies

01:14:26 is for the battle royale mode called "Blackout"

I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the BLOPs MP, mostly because I suck at it. I mostly just play COD games for Zombie mode nowadays. So I can't imagine Blackout stealing me away from PUBG any time soon. I imagine the shooting is going to be similar to Fork Knife with a less goofy aesthetic.

I'm in the same boat, I can't see myself playing Blackout over PUBG or Fortnite.

Multiplayer is something I will play few times with friends.

Stalker 2 is dead

"Stalker 2 will be an online game, no singleplayer – „why create a simulation, when we can have real people in the game now? Why write NPC behaviour systems, when you can have real people doing what they want. They will fill the game world with their real life, not an artificial one. We just have to give them the right tools”

The game has perma-death. After you lose three characters, you’ll have to buy new ones with in-game currency. Yes, this means you may have to pay real money.

"why make a video game?"

To be fair, by 2021 all video games will require you to buy each live individually via microtransactions and be online only experiences.  They're just getting ahead of the curve.

I have no idea if that's serious or trolling or the whole site was trolling or what.  For a game that says it'll be ready in three+ years, it's hard to care.

Since there is no campaign in Black Ops 4, will they still have overpriced DLC/season pass?
I wouldn't be surprised if the Campaign ends up DLC/Season Pass type of material.

Rumor from Kotaku & Polygon was the reason there's no campaign is b/c they believed they couldn't finish it before the game's October release date:

https://kotaku.com/sources-next-call-of-duty-wont-have-a-solo-campaign-m-1825338768

According to Polygon, as the multi-year development cycle of Black Ops 4 moved toward the game’s October release date, “it became evident that development on the single-player campaign wouldn’t be completed.”

Nice to see Square Enix games getting cheaper and cheaper. I would like to see an 85 percent discount on Steam as well.

And did anyone else get a 75 percent off Steam coupon for NBA 2K18? My Humble senses are tingling.

Odd thing I noticed about the Fanatical WB games sale is that Marvel Super Heroes 2 is 75% off, but the older City Undercover is only 50% off.

Yep, I got a 75% off for NBA 2K18 also.

Well, based on my purchases this evening, Just Cause 3 and Dying Light should be in this Month's Monthly.
Especially after I had bought Destiny 2 for $8 from Best Buy before it was revealed.

Given that Humble has bundled Homefront: Revolution without the DLC a couple times now, I would expect that any bundled JC3 will be sans DLC as well.  And, unlike HF:R where the DLC is garbage, the JC3 DLC adds some nice additions to getting around and is worth owning.  Given it's $15 retail price, it's probably better to gt "burned" by owning the $6 XL version than to get the base version through the monthly and wait for a 66% off sale on Steam to get the DLC for ~$6

Mooby's wrong, I buy games just to play the dlc, once i get through the dlc i turn it off. If all the dlc is skins i just take screenshots of the characters wearing the different outfits. Imho dlc is full assed, but whatever

Also, anybody have an opinion on Lara Croft: Temple of Osiris? I enjoyed the first Lara Croft twin stick game a lot, but this one looks like it got mixed reviews

Junk. I played it with Fox and Spoder a couple years ago and buggy and dull. Probably a third of our time was spent trying to solve puzzles that we had actually solved correctly but the game didn't register and unlock the next portion, forcing us to reload from a checkpoint and do it again. The reward for all this is a boss fight where two NPC bosses fight and you spectate. Save your time and money.

So apparently Valve sent notices to various developers that they will be removing their games because of pornographic content unless it's removed (including Huniepot's game Huniepop).  But I saw one developer comment that their Steam version of a game was targeted even though it doesn't contain or advertise any nudity (the 18+ version can only be purchased off of Steam).

Sounds like people are mass-flagging games or something.  Either that or Valve just really wants these games off their service.
