I didnt keep my receipt but I used my rewardzone card, will they be able to pull up the transaction and PM for me? For the money I'm saving I'm gonna head back there today and pick up the rest!

Thanks i thought as much! I only just started moving my collection over to bluray so a I'm glad I could get in on these...kinda bummed to learn about the lack of special features though. I wonder if anything will ever come of the false advertising.

No problem. FYI, if you ordered online and did an in-store pickup, you'd have to call BB for the adjustment.

I *might* be in for it, $33 + shipping is a bit much.. hopefully the price will come down a little bit before release.
 
It should come down to 17.99GBP as most of their steelbooks tend to land around there and that's actually how much it was when it was first posted. That's about $28 shipped. The current price is $33 but that's with shipping included.

The item drops to £18.33 when I add it to my cart, so yeah, $33 shipped. I'll go ahead and preorder it just in case.

Now I have the Jaws and ET steels preordered.. woohoo

They're the 2-disc theatrical editions and yes they do look nice. For $10 you will not be disappointed.
 
I was in BB today, grabbed the Ghost Rider preorder steelbook, they had all of the WB steels except Suckerpunch, the 1 I wanted. Figures.

Damn someone stole all the DKR $5 coupons from the Dark Knight steelbooks. For some reason the coupons were all intact on the Batman Begins cases.

The movie cash isn't inside the case by any chance is it?

Sorry but since I didnt check the best buy weekly thread, that makes me someone who cant read. but you jump on me for saying rumor....
 
If I thought it was a rumor, I'd look it up and see if it were or not. Google it, whatever. I wouldn't spout my mouth off and look like a fool calling it a "stupid rumor". The fact that it was $9.99 was well established on here and on other Blu-ray sites long before your ignorance stepped up to the plate. Hell, even if I couldn't find anything, but I see everyone else talking about it, logic would lead me to believe it was true, and I would then ask "so, where is the info coming from?". Sorry if all of this makes too much sense.
 
Has anyone noticed some sort of outward bump/bulge at the center of the back side of the V for Vendetta steelbook? I'm not sure if I'm imagining it or not...

Haha ok, I think it's the spindle for the disk, although I'm not sure why it seems more noticible on this set compared to the others..
 
My haul, wanted to pick up Hangover 1 and 2 but they were out.

Asked the cashier if they had anymore and he said whatever was on the floor was what they had instock and to check back in either on Tuesday or Thursday cause thats when they restock. At my store, they had:

-3 copies of Sucker Punch
-4 copies of Batman Begins and TDK
-5 copies of Goodfellas
-2 copies of V for Vendetta
-1 copy of Green Lantern
-3 copies of 300
-2 or 3 copies of each LOTR movies

Rest were either sold out or I picked up the last copy. Not sure if they'll end up being hard to find next week but I'm not taking any chances and will show up first thing in the morning on Sunday and Tuesday.

They must have been a frickin' magician since it was a PITA to get the sticker off my "Batman Begins" case!

Also, if it's open, in my experience, they will only exchange for another title and they too will open that exchange copy.
