Not sure where to ask this but I saw a few James Bond steelbooks for $20 bucks at a moms and pops store. They are used I believe and good condition. Anyone know how many steelbooks there are in total? I searched and saw 9 but I'm not sure if they added any. Also is $20 a good price?

wow, that looks like a fan mockup. How is it even possible for it to look that bad when there's so much potential with all the game mascots included?

I got my Brave preorder case today from Best Buy. When it comes to the preorders, my Best Buy usually had about 20 for each run but for Brave they only had 5. I don't know what that means for the production run or if my BBY has been failing in selling preorders.
 
Does the Brave steelbook have enough disc spots in it? Because sometimes their steelbooks can't hold everything from the 3D editions.

It has 4 disc slots I believe so it'll fit everything the 3D release includes.
 
My nearest BBY doesn't even have the case. Nothing on the floor or in the back. I know it wasn't put out early because I've been checking since it was posted here.
 
Got my Brave case today too. It's really one of the best looking Viva Metal boxes, or metal cases in general that I've seen. Nice embossing and metallic work, and really vibrant artwork.

Lol, upon looking online the standard blu-ray set is 3 discs and the 3D blu-ray set is 5 discs. Why would they make this case hold 4 discs? >
 
Eh, better than the Bourne steels, but still kinda not great. Then again, I prefer my steels to be as minimalist as possible. I also don't really like seeing characters on the cover. I prefer symbols and the like.
 
ssjmichael, could you post the SKU # for the steelbook you picked up? I tried to find it at my local store yesterday and there was no floor stand or endcap display for it. I wanted to get the SKU # so I could have someone in the store check in RSS and see if it's there or not.

just got back from bestbuy picking up Brave Steelbook.
Also picked up Garbage Pail Kids Movie which was only $4.99

Asked about Dark Knight Rises but no one thought they were going to do pre-orders on that movie.
Annoyed as shit as I was reloading the page online daily so that I could pre-order the Steelbook with Reborn and today when I get to my computer it says "Sold out online"

Hoping I can pick it up when it releases in store

There is no way it is sold out online. No one has even seen it go up for sale yet. They'll change it soon enough. That's why the shipping says coming soon

I went to bestbuy and they pulled it up and it said the same thing.

Just now I follow the link and it's a dead link.

Maybe the whole "SOLD OUT ONLINE" was an error and they are fixing it - who knows

That's my whole point. It never went on sale and no one other than 1 or 2 random people (not confirmed they actually ordered) have been able to pre order it. It is not sold out. It's simply an error. This will be just as prominent as the first two steelbooks that best buy put out

Check the new releases stand for it; my BB guy was searching all over where it should have been and we finally found it there.

Also, this one might be extremely limited since my store had a total of six that they got. Usually they have 15-20 of these.

Couldn't find them at my store either. Maybe not every store got a shipment yet? Or maybe there's a specific release date?

Note that it was in the Sunday ad so it did have a release date of Sunday.

It was a bit unusual at my stores. Normally they're out on an endcap. One store sold out as of yesterday, the other didn't have them on display. The CS person had to go into the back and grab one which probably explains why they didn't sell out.
 
I didn't find this or Cinderella throughout the whole store. It turns out that some employee thought it was the real BD and put them in the closet area thing behind customer service. They tried not to sell it to me saying it was the movie and it came out tomorrow. I got it finally, though.
 
My local BB has the Brave cases and 3 Dead Island steels left. the Brave case is $7.50

I tried to price match the ACIII hard cover guide there too with the Amazon price, but all they had was the soft cover. I ended up getting it at full price at Wal Mart.
 
I Know, I Know, I should have just asked last night when I was there... but it didn't occur to me...

Has anyone been lucky enough to find steels at BBuy after release week?
If so, what did they ring up for please?
