How the hell do people like Murdoch and Lance Cade keep a job?

Wtf, that's Bradshaw? Man, I never realized Lance Cade looks just like him. That match was horrible.

remember this big guy..

WWE.com has learned that Dan Rodimer has been signed to a WWE Developmental Contract. Rodimer was a finalsit in the fourth edition of Tough Enough, along with current SmackDown Superstar and Diva Search host Mike Mizanin.

Is that the gorilla-looking motherfucker who got totally smoked by Daniel Puder in the arm-wrestling contest?
Finally watching Raw.. my god, Foley can cut an awesome promo.
It was the only real highlight IMO. It was very good.

Supposedly wwe creative didnt like it at all... probably cause Foley wrote his own promo.

I love these guys, what's good is bad and what's bad (half of the stuff they come up with) is good; it's pretty interesting.

Raw sucked, really, really enjoyed ECW this week.. Sabu vs. Credible was good, Dreamer vs. Test was decent, Flair vs. Show was actually good.. was definately better than Raw.

Impact spoiler:

According to a source at SpikeTV, the angle for tonight's edition of Impact will feature Rhino issuing an open challenge while holding what is supposed to be the original ECW World title belt, followed by Rhino throwing the belt into a trash can and then setting it on fire. Obviously, TNA is taking a direct shot at the new version of ECW. It sounds like a wild idea and we'll have to see how it comes across in execution tonight.
If true, this is bullshit, and IMO not the kind of thing TNA needs to do to be 'getting over'. I've said it before, and I'll keep saying it every time I see something like this happen; TNA needs to worry about TNA.

They might as well set their collective asses on top of that trash can while their at it because last time someone started that shit, WCW ended up out of business...

Nah. Madusa pulled all that shit way before nWo happened.

EDIT: Found pics of the new WWE Classic Tag Series, not just Demolition Smash from earlier.

First, Demolition:

Ax's cheeckbones are a little too pronounced, but I'm just happy to get figs of these guys. They will be released separately, I believe, along with Crush at some point

Second, Ted DiBiase and Virgil:
image27877.jpg

Now, I know Virgil is an internets whipping boy for that picture of him with nobody seeking an autograph. At any rate, this two-pack brings back some awesome memories. I may very well pick this up too.

Finally, the Ultimate Warrior - Hulk Hogan WrestleMania VI set:
image27878.jpg

I don't care for either guy, but there's no mistaking the impact of this match; to that degree, these figures reflect their WMVI counterparts flawlessly. I would really like to see the Warrior with a yellow-strapped IC belt and Hogan with the traditional WWF Championship. We'll see if that happens.

I wonder, if, with all these guys on the WWF Legends contract, can we begin to expect more Legends in the video games, and not just the typical 6-7 guys? I *REALLYREALLYREALLY* hope so, and I don't mind if it has to be a separate game. Just don't fuck with their music. Pay for it, yeh cheap bastids!

WWE is discontinuing the EC F'N W t-shirt  You really hate money/ECW don't you, Vince?

"WWE will be discontinuing the EC F'N W t-shirt soon. The shirt is the best selling in ECW history but Vince McMahon feels it is a bit too forward and may turn off potential advertisers."

Well, frankly, the shirt is *way* too crass, isn't it?

*posts image of Vince, Shane, and the Spirit Squad covered in shit, or JR getting things pulled out of his ass, or any number of tawdry hee-haw lowbrow humor from Raw.*

Yep, we don't wanna lose the almight dollar of "Aqua Velva" or whatever hillbilly shit they sell on wrestling these days. This is all kinds of ironic. I dunno if I posted it here on CAG, but at some point I was blathering about the revenue that the Westminster dog show gets compared to Raw. Even though Westminster gets about 1/2 the viewership of Raw, they make *far* more money, because of the advertisers. The demographic who watches Westminster is wealthier and better educated (not to mention older) than the average wrestling fan. They are the kind of people who buy fine jewelry, brand new cars, high-end pet food and supplies, and other upper-middle-class items.

So, on the other hand, the products sold on WWE tv are hilarious. Mainstream motion pictures aimed at the dolts of society ("The Ringer" for instance), motor oil (since we're the demographic who perpetually dumps oil into our leaking cars, since we can't afford a Jaguar like the Westy viewers), Wal-Mart class colognes, other shows on USA (for when ad space isn't sold), and video games.

And somehow we're too classy for the phrase "ECF'NW." fucking genius. I fully expect to see "Cirque De Soliel" commercials starting next week.

"More controversial comments from Rhino"

Its beginning to look a lot like WCW v. WWF could be happening all over again...

TNA has ALOT of work to go before they can even think of taking on WWE, sorry, but it's the truth.

TNA should put themselves over with good storylines and awesome matches, not potshots at WWE.

Potshot? BB on a freight train...

Yeah, you've got all that stuff there? Then show us something decent.

It'll be interesting to see if Vince even takes a shot back, or just completely ignores it since TNA is barely a blip on his radar.

I think ignoring it would be a bigger insult. We'll see where it goes though, I wonder how ironclad the james gang's contract is... They'd have the perfect spot open to them with DX and all.
I totally fucking marked out to that Rhino Promo.
He was totally over with the crowd as well. I think if he continues cutting promos like that he is going to be back in the title picture really soon.

Well I should hope so, he just ruined the one he had.

Can you imagine how much he could have sold that for? fuckin idiot.

Holy shit... Senshi's finishing move is bad ass.

Haven't really seen anything awesome yet though... just a squash match, an ok X-Division match and some promos.

Lol @ Scott Steiner... "Samoa Joe, you fat bastard"
New Jack's on, yep, they're desperate.
lol, Vampiro too.

LOL AND XPAC.

Actually, New Jack isn't on it, he didn't agree to do a whole "season", same as Justin Credible.

Do you guys think Booker T has a legitimate shot at winning the title at the Great American Bash? I'd like to think so, but there have just been too many close calls before...

i think hell win the title but hes gonna drop it as soon as he faces Batista though

I looked in the new WWE mag at the supermarket and they had a comparison between Khali and Andre. They actually said Khali would win in a match between the two.

Yep, Booker will just be a transitional champion for Batista.

He'll win on a botched move that snaps Andre's neck in half.

Can't wait to hear that tommorrow :D

man what a rhino promo!!! i leave for tna victory road tomm morning... cant wait

i dont know if he shoulda trashed the title like that. but everything he aid came from the heart

I thought Lesnar was the Barry Bonds.

I watched that Before They Were Superstars 2 dvd. Man, John Cena was freakin scary looking when he used to be a body builder, guy had huger neck muscles than Goldberg.

I still find it funny when they announce the heavyweight champion at 175lbs. At least WCW actually did weight requirements (i remember Chris Jericho's antics to get his weight down to cruiserweight level, good times). Man, i really miss the old Jericho days. King of the loop-holes! Unfortunately, it will never.... eeeeeeever, be the same, again..

"We're going to book the leperchaun and Tazz in a step ladder match next!"

JBL has really got the announcing thing down. He really does add a lot to Smackdown.

That was just a straight up horrible match. The flow was really bad and when you have to wait forever for spots to happen everyone comes off looking like shit (Booker sat in the 619 position for at least 15 seconds).

I think Mark Henry really injured himself. I saw the "X (is that even true?)" from the referee and he looked legitimately hurt.
