exactly. If they coupon truely is only good that week then all anyone has to do is preorder it with the $5 instead of paying it all upfront and then just pay the rest off and use the coupon on pickup day
 
Tips for success (done it during both promotions) be extremely polite, gather games and ask for pm but have ur cards hidden (not in your pocket but somewhere not obvious), get them pm, manager needs to confirm (sometimes), wait for them to leave, say oh almost forgot and hand them the cards and you win! Fyi if you're trying to buy all their copies in one transaction, you better make a good story (mine was video game tournament - these are prizes) and have filler items since your cart is going from $150 to $15 for some flippable games. Best of luck, i found two locations that work everytime but require 20 min drives. My local ones are very careful but if you go right before they close, you can get by. Sorry for the long post, on my phone
 
So, if Target's in-store price for the XB1/PS4 versions of Madden 25 match their website, then combining a pm with a pre-order card there (YMMV) could get a cheap copy to trade in to BB for this deal. Amazon's price for the XB1 version is $25.78, so:

$25.78 - $15 + $1 (+ tax) = $11.78 + tax.

Trade to BB for $25 + $2.50 + $10coupon.

Anyone have a cheaper way to get Madden 25 (XB1 or PS4) at this point? I might try getting target to PM TigerDirect for a PS4 copy @ $19.99, but TigerDirect isn't on their list.

Ive never bought anything else while doing this and theyve never given me a prob. i even got the 10 off 40 in store when TLOU remastered wasnt available for instore pick up.

Someone posted in the Target thread that he was able to get the PS4 or XB1 (he didn't specify) version of LEGO Hobbit for $15 after PMing to Best Buy's $29.99 price.

someone already confirmed it off games that are regularly $39.99 if you check the target sale thread. Someone said they price matched the hobbit ps4 for best buy $29.99 price and got the $15 off that making it $15 for the game

So let me see if I understand this properly.

For example, Diablo RoS is $39.99 on PC at Target. It's $29.99 at Amazon. So I price match Amazon to get it down to $29.99 and then the $1 preorder card drops it down to $14.99 after it's scanned?
 
my confusion was trying to understand how to keep an online pre-order and still use the coupon, but I think its cleared up - can only use the coupon with an in store $5 down pre-order, and you will use the coupon when you pay at pickup time. 

 
i need to trade in fallout new vegas ultimate edition and skyrim legendary edition for 360 trying to find the trade in values for them on bb website but can only find regualr versions. at gamestop they are 12 and 7 respectiveley just wondering if i go to trade in at bb will i get more than 1 and 5 dollar for the base versions that i can only find when i look them up for trade. Wanting to do a madden deal but wondering if the 25 off madden for 360 will be worth it at bb if i get so low trades for the other or am i better going to gamestop and getting only 5 dollars for madden but higher trade plus 30 bonus . Also going to trade in 2 copys of ghost one for ps3 and one for 360.

Also the 360 version of AC4 at Target is a custom target SKU and has Target edition branding on it, if the rep does the standard scan SKU and try to find it on amazon it won't find it, and a halfway decent rep will deny the PM even before that due to the target edition branding.

Yeah, I'm looking for Xbox One and PS4 games but can't seem to really find anything.. X1 Madden would come out to like 8 bucks after promo (PMed to Amazon), not bad for the 2 for 15 trade at GS if you're looking for something, but that's all I could come up with

in addition to the buy one swapforce skylander, get a giant character free, they also have buy 2 get 1 on swapforce skylanders and these stack. something to look at as i have 4 figures in my cart for $17.

 
In the same boat here for PS4 games. Not necessarily trying to get any for like $5 or anything, but I'm not even really seeing any particularly decent deals.
 
Just traded in both my Madden 25s. Got the $55 with gcu and the $10 coupon printed off on another page

wolfenstein is $39 at amazon

nothing spectacular though, and I don't see any new games coming out aug 12th that'll be worth it either (disgaea4 and surgeon sim ps4 are the only big ones and neither is carried by target)

X1 Madden 25 is $29.99 MSRP at Target so it won't work. PS4 Madden is $49.99 though so it will.

bb trade-in doesnt differentiate between regular and special editions, youll get the regular trade value. ur best off trading madden at best buy and ur other games at gamestop

Yeah just one coupon total. I think if I did them separately I would have gotten 2 coupons since it says one coupon per transaction but I'm only buying one madden 15 so no point wasting the time with separate transactions

I don't see this deal from the mobile site. I added three swapforce figures and no b2g1. Both swappable and non swappable characters.

I do not have GCU.  I signed up for the free MyBestBuy online this morning.  Headed to Best Buy, traded in Madden 25 PS4.  Received a $25 gift card and a $10 off Madden 25 coupon.  I wanted to pay everything off, but it wouldn't take the $10 off coupon on the preorder.  So I just put the $25 gift card as my deposit.  It went reasonably well.  +1 Best Buy

 
Im really curious to know if the promotion will work on games under 40. There's a few games that I want to get. Not sure if stores are open yet.

If I use that link it calculates the free character but does not take off the GCU. I may check it out in store later.
 
So you can trade 2 copies of madden in and get the bonus , like i could trade a 360 for 15 and a x one for 25 and get one coupon so 50 dollars off. If this is the case I should probably go trade my skyrim and fallout vegas at gamestop for a copy of m25.

Probably someone would be willing to trade something for a valid coupon scan/image. Might not be worth the hassle to you, though.
 
Pricematched a couple of Rayman Legends for PS3 at 15.99. Cards worked.

For whatever reason, the cards didn't work for NBA Live 14 for Xbox One at 12.99

 
amazon has the lego movie game for wiiu/360/ps3 all for the 29.99 range (some a few cents less)...was thinking of getting the wii u version. can anyone vouch for it being a good game for $15.

Thinking about grabbing Dead Rising 3 for Xbox One (Walmart has it for $41.75, so I would be able to snag it for $26.75 with the $15 off).  I know Gamefly might have it cheaper later this year, but I do have some Target store credit to burn... 

 
Madden PS4 MSRP in store is $29.99, same as XB1.

Thanks fr the heads up on Lego Hobbit though, will definitely try to score a PS4 version at that price.
 
Jesus that was hell. I've never had an issue trading at best buy before. Took 30 minutes, didn't get my gcu bonus and he said he can't do a preorder in store and told me to go online. I'll try again later this week with someone else
