Super Fighter Collection II X 3rd Impact: Mark of the Turbo for Matching Service
*cough* Vampire Chronicle in the first post *cough*

I'd toss up a pic of my Super Puzzle Fighter II X import, but alas, my wife has taken the camera to the Cubs game.

If this were a tournament, MarkMan would win. Can't wait for pictures of the joysticks!
How's SFA 2 on the SNES?
SFA 2 on the SNES is actually pretty good considering it's on SNES. I do prefer the Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold that came with SF Collection 2 however.

About to upload pics of my joysticks...

I was way too lazy to take pics of all my other fighting game stuff, so it's just gonna be some of my sticks...

Well, here is my joystick collection... it's not all of it. A friend of mine has one of my Namco sticks, another friend has one of my Tekken 3 Hori Real Arcade Sticks... and there are a few sticks that didn't make the cut(stuck under my bed) lol...

Here's my collection, hope you enjoy the pictures...(It was hot as hell in San Diego today and carrying around boxes and boxes of sticks throughout my house was tiring lol)...

fg8.JPG

The popular 'lay them on the floor' technique... Arcade sticks still boxed and packaged...

fg9.JPG

A close up shows 2 x Hori Real Arcade Pro(PS2), 2 x MAS Super Nova Arcade Stick(ARC), 2 x Pelican Real Arcade Sticks...

fg10.JPG

This close up shows: 2 x US Tekken 5 Collector's Edition Hori Sticks, 3 x Hori Tekken 3 Real Arcade Sticks, Hori Fighting Stick(PS1), Hori Tekken 4 Real Arcade Stick, Hori Tekken Tag Tournament Real Arcade Stick, Hori Soul Calibur II Real Arcade Stick, ASCII SNK vs Capcom: Chaos Arcade Stick, Agetec Dreamcast Arcade Stick(New), Hori Namco Arcade Stick(New)...

fg11.JPG

Ahh, took awhile to get stuff out of their boxes... from upper left, going L-R... Hori Real Arcade Pro, Custom Korean Arcade Stick(used for Tekken), Custom Red Octane Fighting Stick(with Happ stick/buttons), NubyTech Street Fighter Anniversary Arcade Stick, 2 x MAS Sticks, 2 x Pelican Real Arcade Sticks...

fg12.JPG

Tekken 5 Hori, Namco Hori, Tekken 4 Hori, Modified Tekken Tag Hori(with bat top), Tekken 5 Hori, Fighting Stick Hori, Soul Calibur II Hori, Interact Shadowblade, Tekken 3 Hori, Tekken Tag Hori, SNK vs Capcom: Chaos ASCII, Mini Hori Pro, Agetech Dreamcast Stick aka Green Goblin(for you Capcom heads...)...

fg13.JPG

An angled view of some of my sticks...

fg14.JPG

Thought I'd post some extra stuff that wasn't hard to get to... Tekken 5 Debut Vinyl Banner... this was used at EVOLUTION 2004 when Namco first unveiled Tekken 5 to America... Only 2 in the world... now there's more though since they went on sale on some site...

fg15.JPG

My Tekken 5 TV :), and my Tekken 5 standee...

fg16.JPG

A better shot of my Tekken 5 standee...

That's all for now... I'll try to get my SF stuff up tomorrow...
Its too late and I don't feel like dragging out all of my wrestling/fighting games. So I just grabbed my import wrestling games. I haven't bought any new ones in a long time, I need to add some more.
Nice collection! I too am a fan of wrestling games... King of Colosseum series is my FAVORITE 3-D wrestling game series....
you...you have more?
Yes sir! I love fighting games all around. I have a lot of Street Fighter and some SNK stuff...

Do any of you read the SF Comic by Udon? I love that series...

Hori, is one of my favorite companies as well. Now that they actually have US offices, more and more of their stuff is coming over... expect to see more Final Fantasy XI Vana'diel Clocks, Dragon Quest VIII Slime Controllers, and more Hori arcade sticks in the future.

I got to talk to Ray(US Hori rep) a few times... and he really does like to listen to fighting game fans on what they want to see over here... I hope they bring the Hori Real Arcade Pro Special Edition/Addition... those were some hot sticks...

aww markman... you make us all feel like little boys now

one thing I do notice that GuilewasNK has over you is that you don't have Project Justice for DC (unless you didnt take a pic of it). What's a fighters life without project justice?

Worthwhile.

I finally picked up the first volume last week. I'm gonna start reading it probably tomorrow.

And as far as your collection goes, I bow to you sir. You are a god amongst fighter fans.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I appreciate it. I'm just another fighting game fan, keepin it true to a hobby I love. I really enjoy competitive fighting games, so that's probably why you don't see some of the less popular games in my collection... I usually just get what's played in tournament etc...

I do have Project Justice somewhere, it's hard to keep track of all my games when they're all over the place in my house. I also have Japanese Rival Schools for PS1, both of em... They're somewhere along with my Saturn imports... -_-

I'll do some searching tomorrow.

Did anyone get the hardcover SF 15th anniversary book by Udon... that book is the shit!

MARKMAN YOU ARE THE FREAKING MAN, man that is insane :D hey how much does that tekken stick cost? :bouncy: also can you recommend a good ps2 stick something for 20$ or 30$ :)

What's up assassinX... most of those sticks were AT LEAST over $50 when i bought them at the time...

A good PS2 stick for $20 or $30? I don't really know any around that price range... off of ebay you might be able to get the Tekken 5 Hori stick... it's a good stick for how much it's worth... but I don't think you'd find a decent stick for around $20 or $30 unless you find a steal of an auction...

I was watching a few Tekken sticks on ebay-- they went from ~$45 to about ~$80
I was watching a few Tekken sticks on ebay-- they went from ~$45 to about ~$80
$45 isn't too bad, but paying 80 for the stick alone when you can get the game, collector's case, AND the stick for 20 bucks more at EB is asinine.

It's better to just get the bundle. Besides, 50 bucks for a Hori is a steal.
Almost forgot this one:

Worst...handheld...fighting...ever!
::pukes::

Oh god that game was TERRIBLE! It was pretty much a fighter with beat 'em up rules, and it was executed horribly.

isnt that game on midway collection of some other collection? i loved that game.

Just saw this.

How easy do you think this would be to mod (replace the stick/buttons). Have you ever opened it up to check out the insides? If I could mod it, I might buy it.

If theres another collection picture on CAG somewhere I'll post pics of my setup/game collection... Probably won't be til' a weekend though... it'd be a bitch to haul out 40 some odd systems and over 500 games... -_-

How about just posting it in this thread? ^_^

Off topic, sort of. I knew I recognized you somewhere, I just started seeing your posts over at SRK. I didn't realize you're the same MarkMan as you are over there, and also the same Mark (Julio) that contributed to the BradyGames' T5 guide.

Yeah it's in Midway Arcade Treasures 2.

YOU WIN, ALRIGHT? :whistle2:( :whistle2:(

Markman is about as hardcore as it gets.

I'll get to posting it one day...

And yes, I'm that same MarkMan/Mark Julio... btw again, did any of you guys find the T5 guide useful? It was written by some of the top players in T5 at the time... I've always wanted feedback on it lol...

And my collection is nothing compared to true hardcore collectors... if you want to see crazy, visit www.digitpress.com ... another site that I'm a member of... I'm just low level lol.

When O look at a lot of those collections on digitpress, I just think "Wow, nice game collection. Too bad your TV is a POS." I mean, c'mon. Is it really that hard to replace your old-ass 15" TV with a new Sony WEGA?

EX: http://videogamecollectors.com/gallery/Arthur-Cruz-Collection/P1010061

EDIT: And I'd love to have a collection like the ones those guys have, but I honestly could never go back and play the games after playing them with emulators: They look better (most of the old systems don't have s-video, some not even composite), I can state-save (which is the greatest thing EVER), I never have to worry about a cartridge or CD getting messed up, I can play translated versions of Japanese-only games, and I only need to hook up one system to play them (right now Dreamcast, but I'll be moving to the Xbox once I get one).

And god dammit, when is somebody gonna make a Saturn emulator?
stfu and go lose with Dan some more.
I was being serious. Is it that time of the month Dima?

not for a long time...it's got something to do with the dual processor, i think

Very impressive collection SolidSnakeX99!

I particularly like your import Saturn collection of fighting games...

Soul of the Samurai for PS1, isn't that an action/adventure game?

Thanks Mark. Hell I really don't remember about Samurai. I guess I confused it w/ Bushido Blade. Those are some pics I took of some of my games when I was going through my "I'm not into gaming anymore so I'm selling on Ebay" phase. I've got a couple of new stuff around here somewhere :)

I concur! Nice collection! :D

LOL. Yeah, those pics are pretty old, most of them have newer cases by now. I hate taking the prices off of them sometimes, I need to remember the cheapass deal I got them for. :)

anyone that owns Project Justice has a warm place in my heart :)

amazing stuff guys... I have no where neer the financial income to get close to a collection like you guys :(
My tiny collection:

Note that Rumble Roses is still sealed, and it's Evo in that VF4 case. (I don't like GH)
So sad. At least you got GGX2 (GGX would have been better but eh)

Hey swetooth, I noticed you saying you have SF: AC for Xbox and noone to play with, and that you're not very good. I suck at SF also, want to meet up on Live sometime? :D
