Super Princess Peach
i disagree. they arent collectables, i mean they dont do anything. its good that you have to get them all, otherwise there would be no point to them. plus this game is easy, having to find all the toads gives the game extra life.
Artificial extra life. If they wanted to do something like that it should have been you get a new ending or it unlocks some secret levels. Shouldn't be mandatory. Also if it was going to be mandatory a little warning would have been nice rather than waiting until you get to the end to tell you.

Game was good the first time through. I don't want to play through it again just to get more of those damn puzzle pieces. The puzzle games aren't even fun.

After hearing how easy the game is, I've just been doing the entire levels without touching any of the hint blocks. I'm also not going to upgrade my hearts or vibe meter (although I don't know if I'll need more for later in the game).

im not sure if it was the instructions or the game (likely the game as i dont recall reading the instructions) but i was told by something that i had to get all the toads. i agree is artificial extra life, but its extra non the less.

I just finished my first play through tonight. I had some troubles on the final boss. Didn't die, just had some troubles beating him/her/it. So has anyone beat the game twice and beat the puzzles and the minigames? is there anything cool for doing that? If not, I will take my sweet time completing it.

the bonus is an ability that allows you unlimited use of your emotion. Nice, but kinda pointless after getting everything.

Wowzers!! Just been getting into this game over the past couple of days... reminds me so much of SMB 2 and all the insane fun that game brought to the party. Dunno how well SPP is gonna sell for Nintendo, but it deserves to break the 1 million mark. Nicely executed!

...now if only we can get a game where Toad is the star.

I just beat it for the first time a couple nights ago. Now I'm playing through again and getting the extra levels. I wish the initial run through was as challenging as the added levels are.

SPP is a good game, but it really doesn't ramp up until around level 5. That's where it really gets fun, IMO.

Princess Peach is way too easy.It is definatly meant for a 10 year old.The healing emotion makes it impossible for you to die,the money spam makes geting max vibe gauge and life meter very easy. The tips in the boxes give you too much info and secrets are so insanely easy to find. The mini games boing and level design is pretty stale espically in the latter stage. They feel like carbon copies of the before stages.

Not to bash the game entirely,it still pretty fun with the creativity of the emotions and innovating the game with brand new concepts. The game mechanic is very good.It just too too easy.Highly recommended for children or person who wants to play a easy game after playing ninja gaiden.

I agree that it is easy, but if you stick with the original 3 hearts and vibe meter, it makes the later stages a little bit of a challenge.

Also, just because a game is easy doesn't mean that it isn't fun.

Ima leave in a hour to either wal mart or circuit city, and ive been womdering if i should get SPP for the DS to go with my new LITE, but is it a good game? Replay value? lenghty? fun? good graphics? anything to point out? just want to know if its worth my money, i know its easy, ive heard it alot, but as long as its fun then should i give it a whirl?

Opinions plz! :D!!!!11!

i like it, hubby likes it but he likes new super mario brothers more. It is definatly girly if this bothers you. lots of pink and most of the game play revolvs around her parasol.... which can do different attacks and such. I'm not done yet and would say i've put about 5 hours in, this is just a guess though and i have three worlds which equals about 18 lvls left i believe. but i got it during the buy 2 get one free toys r us sale i don't knwo that' i'd pay 35 for it, but i am a cheap ass.

So everyone knows it a pretty good game. Can't say it's OMGZ TEH B3ST or anything. I love it.

You know when you get a FULL 100% (beating all 3 Toad Mini games AND completing ALL the puzzles) you get that Endless Fever mode.

I just realized it can be fun!
Try RE-PLAYING the entire game with Endless fever.. but each level (or world) make Peach a certain way.

I personally love startin and finishing a level with Peach PISSED the fuck off!

Kinda does add more replay value to it.
And it's just fun walking around the entire level PISSED.

Try it! It's a good time!

Super Princess Peach is a total gem. I played through it twice and even enjoyed most of the Toad mini-games. Best part is, I feel as though I still have my dignity, though I may be wrong.

This is one of the games on my gamefly.com list to rent next (I mailed back New Super Mario Bros yesterday. ) It was okay, but I couldn't make it past level 1- 5, reminds me of my original gameboy one.......never could get past this one level). Anyway, has anyone played Super Princess Peach? I'm either going to rent it, or I'll buy it. I'm hoping it might be easier to win than New Super Mario Bros....... Also, is the game out of print? I saw it on BestBuy.com, but when I checked store availability, it was grayed out for my location, which could mean they don't carry it or its out of stock at the store.

I don't remember it being hard to beat but I didn't think NSMB to be hard either. I do however remember that before you can fight the final last level, you had to go backtrack and rescue all the toadstools or what not and I never bothered doing it so I never really got to play the last level or boss.

I liked it alright. That whole deal at the end about forcing you to find all those guys before you could continue was a huge design mistake though.

Any Mario game where you have health is very easy. You can take like 4 or 5 hits before you lose a life. And if you fall into a pit? you just lose a heart and start from where you fall. If I remember correctly you even have the ability to heal. The game is out of print as it has been out for a while

It's a very easy game.

But honeslty, not to be a dick, but as easy as you give up on games I'm not sure where you bother playing.

Giving up on NSMB at level 1-5? And if I recall correctly you gave up on Zelda: Phantom Hourglass as you couldn't find Linebeck in the beginnin gof the game.

I'm playing it now and it is a relatively easy game. It's fun and I recommend it, but as far as Mario platform games go it's definitely not the best of the bunch. New Super Mario Bros. is much better. Still, it's a fun game and worth having.

it was much easier compared to NSMB, but to its credit i still found it to be a fun platformer, and you unlock like 20 more levels after you beat it, so theres a little replay in there as well.

also, i found launching toad to be highly amusing.

I only gave up because I wanted to just try out games I would consider buying in the future. NSMB is a game I may end up buying in the future. As for Phantom Hourglass, I didn't like that everything required the stylus, since I am so used to games that can use either or. I'll check for a used copy of Super Princess Peach next time I go to the mall (Gamestop). I wish it wasn't out of print, though. I guess I could always get it on eBay if no Gamestops near by have a used copy. First, I'm renting it.

Imagine this guy trying to play the original Legend of Zelda: "Wow, this game is hard. They don't even give you a sword!"

Hmm, I was planning on getting this game at some point (when I'm in the mood for another platformer), but if it's easier than NSMB, it might be too easy to be fun. I mean, I'm not elite gamer (at least, not anymore for sure), but there has to be some challenge there. Maybe I'm better off getting some GBA Yoshi platformer?
