Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Gen. Discussion & Info

Sorry, maigo, but I've been kicked off the TV (bro wants to watch TiVo of NBA Playoff). Those were some really great games! I'm surprised I fared as well as I did on that flat surface, where you and your Aura Balls really have the advantage (I've nowhere to hide :))! But, seriously, really close games!

EDIT: Thought I'd add, nice comeback that last game! I felt the momentum shift your way, and knew you were one determined cookie! I kind of saw it coming. Good job, regardless!
 
I need to practice/see if my connection is good again. Maigo still online?

I've spent the last 3 hours fixing my damn router this better work (or I'll fold up into the fetal position).



EDIT:

Played some random brawls this morning. 4 players zero lag. If I can do that with random people I should be good with CAGers. So no more mass exits when I join hopefully.
 
Those were some of the closest matches I've ever had against you Joe, when that Gordo during the last stock JUST passed over me, i felt my heart skip a beat, I thought i was a goner

I'm definitely looking forward to more matches, you're probably one of the only CAG's that can go toe to toe with my lucario

np. I was getting pm's during the first macth, which is why i ended up with G&W as my character. Not bad with someone i only used in SSE.

Sprry dyeknom we couldn't finish our matches. Guess I solved my lag problem but I didn't solve the disconnect problem :bomb:

I was horrible tonight! Sorry David. My nieces came over right as we started playing. Such high-pitched little voices and they wouldn't stop singing! :lol:

Looks like the top players in Louisiana want money matches now that they know that I'm coming to their shindig next weekend. Scary :cold:

I can only hope that the top 10% in Texas are better than the top 1% in some backwater swamp or I'm gonna be broke ;)

Haha, that was...not an ape's day. Good games to Izzy, Mr. E, and Mad D. It takes a while to get used to wifi after playing people in real life! Mad D, did you choose the Mario Bros stage? I was willing to play, but after you killed me twice in 30 seconds, I had to forfeit. =P

Disconnected that match you guys picked the earthbounders, you guys are fighting a cpu. I can't get back on:bomb:.

EDIT: I can't stay connected I was dropped during the match I returned. When I try to rejoin it won't let me, showing game is filled up 3/4 when I know that third is the cpu opponent that took my place when dropped.

I've been spending more time messing with my router than playing the damn game.

I have mine on DMZ. Had it port forwarded for a while. Don't really see a difference in either one for my connection. (YMMV, of course.)

Damn, maybe I picked a good time to play the hell out of GTAIV. I keep hearing about these disconnects and latency problems.

EDIT: Actually, I've suddenly got the itch to play Brawl. Anyone game?
