Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Gen. Discussion & Info

It was enough to hinder performance. :[
Maybe it's my controller, because I would often push up b, or do a down smash, and nothing would happen. :|

Good games, there was much less lag than when we played yesterday. I especially enjoyed the Lucario vs. Lucario match against you and the Pikachu vs. Pikachu match with JFD. I like one on one matches with the same character.
 
Yeah, that Pikachu vs. Pikachu match on Pokemon stadium was awesome, and excruciatingly close.
I remember playing yesterday with close to no lag though, but, maybe it's just me.

I suicided a whole bunch today. >:c

Yep. I will try that. However, certain times it is so laggy that I can't time the PK Thunder to save my life. I got distracted during those matches that I was doing so horrible.

I'm going to take a break from traveling for a while, but I'm going to make a long cross country trek to the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle at the end of August. I'm going to take the LONG way around and stop in Southern California on the way, so maybe I'll visit a certain Beef guy. Maybe I'll go East and South on the way back and pass through some of those Dakotas

Yeah, you've been busy since Brawl came out. You deserve a break! :) I'm determined to make the trek to PAX one of these days, but not for a while I'm assuming.

And if you actually visit "some of those Dakotas," I'd be too excited. :bouncy:

Good games again, guys. I didn't stand a chance against JoeB1233 and Daisydog. I had fun though.

When JoeB1233 grabbed me as DeDeDe on Shadow Moses Island, I was like "Oh fuck no! He's not gonna chain throw me, is he?" That was quite embarrassing for me. Well played JoeB1233.

Well, I'm glad you reacted well enough to it. I was scared you'd take offense! But, yes, good games! I'm glad you've wandered to the Smash section of CAG, because you're really quite good! :)

GGs tonight to Daisydog, VP, and Jack. Nice 1v1s, Dd! Your Link and Kirby put up great fights! I would stay later, but I feel like vegging right now. Laziness > Video Games in my personal scheme of things.

That's not all too impossible to believe... Ganondorf has his style, even against the much faster characters. Tell me jigglypuff wins a "major" competition and I'll be shocked.
 
Got 3rd out of 30 something in New Braunfels, just north of San Antonio.

Lost a close 5th match to Hylian again.

Thats 3 straight tournaments where I cakewalk to winners finals and then lose 2 straight.

Also got 2nd in teams. I teamed up with the guy who got 4th. His Ganondorf is crazy in teams. 1st and 2nd in singles teamed up and no one could scratch them.

I've also been certified 3rd best player in Austin ahead of two people who have actually won a few tournaments. I might get put on a panel to decide state wide rankings since I've traveled so much.
