seems like you might like somethin like it[/QUOTE]
Mannn, I thought Inside was extremely over-rated. Haute Tension, ILS, even Irreversible (this can be debated, but I put it in there) are all great French horror films, but... Meh. I guess it is worth a watch, regardless.
Summer Wars - 8/10
I thought the animation was beyond beautiful. The scenes inside OZ were amazing, and the film had a pretty decent plot. I did think that they tried to add in too much family with too little development, but I understand what they were aiming for. Regardless, I've been trying to get back into anime a little, and this definitely helped.
Tucker and Dale vs. Evil - 8/10
Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine just sold the film. The premise was a fun take on your usual teenage/college kids in the woods horror-cliche, and, really, the three leads were perfect. You can tell the writing wasn't the main focal point, nor was the CG work, but more focusing on the relationship between Tucker and Dale. The jokes were a little hit-or-miss, but really, I cannot stop raving about how well the title characters were cast. I just hope that this continues to help get Tudyk and Labine a little more exposure, even if T&DvsE is more of an Indie Horror film. The rest of the supporting cast were extremely forgettable, but I don't mind, really.
