For everyone who wait and never took advantage of Rhino's awesome 2 for 1, it's going to be too late for that now... they got bought out by Gamestop, and the rumor is that they will start converting on the 14th of this month, so no more 2 for 1 :cry:
 
Nintendo says they are preparing my order, so it should be here tommorrow if they ship it today then I can stop crying about my wii problems :)

Possibly but nobody really knows. I'd do it sooner rather than later. You should still be able to do it for a few more days definitely.
 
I went to Rhino this morning where it was confirmed they were bought out. They're not sure whats happening other than they're going to start getting GS's signage/promo materials.

Traded Wheel of Fortune & MTV Music Generator for Smackdown vs Raw 2007 360 ($49.99 used ^_^).

They also had Fear 360 used for $49.99, i was going to pick it up, but 1 of my other 2 games didnt qualify >

I went to the Citrus Park one. In the morning I've only got 30 minutes to do my shopping before i have to go to work, so Citrus Park is usually the only place i can go without leaving extremely early.

I went to 3 different stores that had Totaled in stock, all freaking disc-only (rhino's fine print says "original case and instructions required"). I may try out a few Kmarts tomorrow night for that Neopets game.

Hey, at Rhino, did you happen to see if they restocked Tiger Woods 2007 for 360?
 
I would quickly use at store credit, at rhino games remember ebgames and gamestop credit didnt play nicely when they merged. Guess its all one big game store monopoly now, get ready to get screwed.

Forgot to mention, what will happen with their lifetime warranty plans they offered?

Gamestop would never honor that.

We missed out, yesterday every Wal-Mart in Tampa Bay got in Wii's... I found this out today =/

Target didn't get a shipment at all.
 
Also, it looks like both the EB and the Gamestop in Brandon Town Center Mall had Wii's in this morning... it's over an hour drive for me to get there so I never would have made it.

I wish our shithole EB's / GS's would get Wii's in.
 
^ I was in line the day after Xmas at the Northdale GameStop. I could have gotten a Wii then because I was far enough ahead in line compared to the stock they were receiving. The problem was I was there at 6:30 a.m. and the shipment wasn't supposed to come until that afternoon. I decided not to wait because I would have to be there all day. Turns out they got them in at 11 and I could have gotten one if I would have waited a few more hours.

I'm still mad at myself because since then I haven't been nearly as close to finding a Wii again.

This is getting really ridiculous. Nintendo needs to start shipping out more units.
 
Sorry to say my "wii"less friends, but the wii, is flipping awesome, I of course didnt get wii sports thru my method of getting a wii, but I finally got all the parts, thanks nintendo.com, but regardless of not getting wii sports, I got monkey ball blitz, and the mini games, have plenty of wii sports like games, jump rope, track, hurdles, baseball, bowling, boxing, and many more. Over 50 different mini games. If anyone wants to come over to play wii, let me know, must have your own remote and nunchuck, and if you break my tv because of your slippery hands, you will die a slow death

Not anymore... there is Gamerush inside some Blockbusters, but I wouldn't call it a game store.

But even then... I was using Rhino as an alternative to get games Best Buy and friends wouldn't stock, like Atlus GBA games. I guess I have to start ordering online at Amazon... I'm kinda wishing I did get that Amazon Prime membership :(

Talked to the mgr at Rhino today & he says they'll hopefulyl stay open when they become GS. HE also said that it's up to the mgr if they still sell older games, & he said they will probably do that for antoher year, but no B2G1.
 
MICROPLAY aka MEGAPLAY ON 56TH AND FOWLER has long been out of business, they had 3 locations, that location was shut down over 2 years ago.

Each location was shut down for different reasons, carrollwood location too many break ins, hillsborough location, plaza was torn down, 56th and fowler, owner selling import games and doing mod chips. Oh forgot after he got arrested for child porn, he never opened back up due to he was actually found guilty of the crimes.

Gamerush is inside only st pete location blockbusters, and there is Game Crazy by Hollywood video stores.

I drove by a place on macdill and kennedy, I forget the name, they never called back something Ideal games. just found it

According to anywho, there is a place called dollar games and videos in brandon, and jacks games in riverview. There is also game zoo, i think they are an arcade with xboxes and they have some games for sale, according to craigslist there is a place in brandon called extreme gaming, dont know what they do there.

So let gamestop have their monopoly, and stop giving away games to them.

Could have sworn I saw game crazy, could have just been their website I saw, anyone looking for a Wii, some guy has a used one for $200 on craigslist. He hasnt replied to my emails yet.

Yea, I just saw that... that's kind of shady, it actually say its "new in the box and unopened"... why would someone take a $50 loss on a Wii rather than just return it to the store?

I should be hopefully getting my wii today or tomorrow, a friend on here hooked me up with a CL guy selling a brand new Wii with receipt for $300. The system costs $270 with tax, I will GLADLY pay someone a $30 finders fee and be playing Metal Slug and Elebits tonight, and Zelda and Trauma Center next week, and never have to search for a Wii ever again.
 
Heads up to anyone I was at a flea market earlier today the one on hills and 22nd street the drive in theater, some guy was selling xbox and ps2 games for $3 a pop, mostly sports, but he had some other stuff as well, snes, n64 games for $1, Nes and nintendo imported systems. Gameboy and gameboy color games were $5 a pop as well.
 
Not that anyone wants one, but SAMS CLUB in south tampa, has the PS3 20 gb versions for $553, dont know what they bundled with it, but they have had 8 of them for the last 3 days.
 
I wasnt even going to mention the "interbay" for fear of getting banned like everyone else that mentions them :)

They had a double store credit deal today that they had posted about on craigslist.
 
Does anyone know where to get wii remotes or nunchucks in Tampa? Monkey ball is growing old when having to hand the controller to another family member every time we have to take turns. Was banking on the wii play remote combo that was suppose to come out this week but has been pushed back to february. Was heck of a deal at $49.99 with free wii remote and the game

Hey guys,

I scored a Wii this morning at the EB in Tyrone Mall — it was the last one they had. Anyway, the guy said they had shipments of them two days in a row, so maybe we're seeing a regular trend here. For those still looking for accessories, I saw Nunchuks at the Tyrone TRU and Classic Controllers and Wiimotes at the Tyrone Target. Anyone have any luck with the $19.99 component cables from Wal-Mart? I haven't seen them around at our local stores.
 
Yeah, there seems to be a Onslaught of Wiis. TRu, EB/Gamestop and Target have apparently gotten them in the last few days and the Wal-Mart (where the shooting was yesterday) next to where I work is supposedely getting them in. The PS3s on the other hand are just sitting on the shelf........
 
I gave up on finding a Wii around here... a friend on CAG in Georgia found me one, so I gave him $300 for it for cost, tax, ship, paypal fees, and extras.

I'm sick of calling and camping out stores and wasting gas... I should have the Wii by Friday.

I'd rather take all this free time to be playing games on the Wii then looking for it ;)

The Wii will get here Friday, I'll probably hit up Rhino tomorrow (Lyric, I'll look for component cables at the Wal-Mart there) to get the rest of my games for it.

I went to the kmart on 56th and busch, someone had attempted hide the last wii remote and the nunchuk, and the nice lady who didnt know how to ring items up, was kind to sell me the wii remote and the wii chuck for $19.99 total. Score for the monkey!!!


ON a side note, anyone know why I can not post to the forum, from my tmobile sidekick 2?
I can view it, but can not post.
