Jamie and Adam were trying to bust out of a Mexican prison and after a few missed attempts to break down the bars in his window, Adam decides to give Shanghai Noon a shot and use a wet silk shirt to bend the bars. He pees on it and promptly doesn't like the idea, as he complains about it being warm and the strong smell it has. :rofl: I love this show.

Wow...I forgot how cool Kenshin was back when he was Battousai. I just watched the end of one of the Samurai X OVAs, and he cut some dude who was leaping at him in mid air in half...And not top-bottom halves...Left-right halves. They should have made the anime series about him as Battousai.

god damned Marvel...why cant they get books out on time? Customer wants Essential Godzilla before going to B-fest, original release of today would work fine, but at the last second the fucking move it to feb. 8th. It's 20 year old material, wtf is it getting pushed back two weeks???

The computer system at their office gained sentience and started to realize how awful some of the things are... it's bogged down in them, so new batches take a while to run. :D

(I'd be willing to be that a plotline like that has already been used in a Marvel Comic.. probably even one of their major ones.)

Actually, the danger room was apparently sentinet from the beginning, but was being held against its will by xavier. Danger Room got free, was pissed, and it took Xavier blind-siding it with an 18-wheeler to take it down. All written by Joss Whedon (Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Serenity).

So, anyone want to translate this so I can see if I got it right? It's for a friend, so I don't want to fuck it up if I can help it.

Well that's good to know. Generally, if a CD doesn't have "Compact Disc" on the case, you can assume it has some copy portection software on it. Because technically copy protection is not a standard approved by the manufacturers of conpact discs. Therefore, no CD with "Compact Disc" on the label can legally have copy protection on it.

I never bought CD's before because they're overpriced. They should be in the $5 to $8 range. SO I was psyched to see Danger Doom for $7.99. But now I don't buy CD's because I don't want to support copy protection schemes.
 
I think I'm pretty much done with using the $10 BB coupons.

I picked up Sacred Gold today and it had already dropped to $20 so I didn't need it. I grabbed We love Katamari for $20 the other day. I thought abotu getting Mega Man X Collection but it's not high on my list.

I might pick up Sly 3 for $20 with the $20 off coupon.

But other than that I think I've gotten everything I wanted that was $30.
 
I'll pick up the X Collection, if I remember to take a coupon next time I'm out. That is, of course, if they get anymore copies in. At least it's not like their DS section, which is almost always completely bare. Absolutely no copies of Mario Kart DS, though strangely at least 4-5 copies of Trauma Center. Too bad I'm not interested in that one. :lol:
 
Nice, I stopped by the bank on the way home to cash my PG rebate checks ($25 worth) and then stopped for groceries and picked up some mags: Play (first time seeing this), EGM (cuz they still won't deliver the fucking thing to me), and Shonen Jump (seems to not always be there). Play is a pretty cool magazine, very nice design and pleasing to eye without the multitude of ads everywhere. I may have to subscribe to this one.
 
Anyone ever read Roald Dahl's short stories? I came across the Roal Dahl Omnibus when I was in Philadlephia a few years back and bought it, and was pleasantly surprised. I proceeded to buy Umbrella Man and I've been looking for his other compilations in stores. Great reads.

So I bought this 360 just so the people at Ushicon can play Dead or Alive 4. And I got to thinking, its a bit of a moral loophole, but if I bought ALL my games used, I could buy 360 games and not actually support Microsoft. In fact, they probably lost some money from the purchase of the console.

Now I just have to get over the guilt of having one in the house.

What we did with my room-mates XBox was make little labels and put it on saying "Evil Box". It makes some of the guilt go away.
