Target Clearance Thread XXII

Was on the road so stopped at a few stores on the way.  Grabbed two PSP dual packs at $4.48 each (had to be entered manually, out of system). 

Syphon Filter / Killzone  207-20-0451

Secret Agent Clank / Daxter  207-20-0452

Looking at the previous post I apparently missed out on Super Streetfighter IV 3DS which was at one of the stores I stopped at.​

Picked up Max Payne 3 (360) for $4.XX. This is going to be my 4th time owning the game. I can't for the life of me understand why I've never been able to enjoy/beat it.

This is the first and only Max Payne game that i have played and i think it is amazing. Good for your for giving it one more chance. A couple years ago i played Persona 4 Golden for around 11 hours and i did think it was a "Meh" game and stopped playing it. Months later i gave it another chance and now i love Persona 4 to death... I hope you can Enjoy Max Payne because it is awesome and "Made by Rockstar Games" says it all.

Can someone remind me how the saleable quanties and on hand quantities differ - obviously you can buy saleable ones, but if they have, say, 0/4 - does that mean there are 4 of that item at the store (hypothetically) but they can't sell them to you because they have been released yet or something along those lines?  thanks for any help!

This is exactly why I keep going back to it. I've loved everything else Rockstar has made and this is clearly a quality game so I can't understand why it doesn't click for me. Here's hoping this time's the charm!
 
Not sure if it's been mentioned yet or not, but check your local goodwills for vita games that may have disappeared from target the last couple of weeks. I stopped by 2 earlier today and there were stacks of clearance vita games in their glass cases, prices ranging from $3.99 to $6.99.

It's the difference between what they scanned last time and what inventory says they have as far as I can deduce.

 
There's a store down near spooge land that has some funky stuff going on.  They have shown 4 Gold PS3 controllers at $16.48 and 4 X360 Play and Charge kits at $5.98 for about 3 weeks now.

Yeah, I meant to report this, but given the paltry discount coupled with most stores around me at least getting cleared out of them even at that higher price point had me quickly forgetting about it.

Probably salvaged out. That's what I've been told at multiple stores that are showing big quantity discrepancies (and by that I mean, inventory is showing multiples of an item, with none being in the store and the in store inventory checker returning "item not found" or no location for either shelf or back room). Latest wasted trip was a store slightly out of my way yesterdday that was showing mass quantities of various Lego sets that had been clearanced a while back. Of course they were no where to be found. Back room reported they had been salvaged, but who knows maybe they were all just hidden back there or piled on a pallet or shelf in the back for some employee(s).

Newer hardware newer features, I'm not sure what's the deal with Google Audio? The commercials talk about better functionality with music apps. But overall it's a much more functional device. I also know wireless is superb on it due to the new shape.

The new model supports 5Ghz WiFi (AC Wireless support), redesigned UI, and a new prediction feature for what you may want to watch next. Not sure if I need the new stuff as I most likely would use the ethernet adapter for it when I'm at home so the $17 price is very tempting.

 
Can anybody confirm the percentage off on Halloween stuff at Target today? Is it all 25% off, or 50% off, on the first day after Halloween? It's raining super hard here, and I can't decide if it's worth going out in this storm for cheap Halloween stuff for next year, or not.

Candy will probably be 50% on Tuesday and 70% on Thursday.
 
I don't care too much about the candy, as I am just interested in decorations and costume pieces. But, that's good info for my friends.
 
Went to Target in Gastonia, NC off of exit 21 on I-85 and found a sealed Pikmin 3! I already have it so I left it between Uncharted dual pack and NBA2k14 on the top shelf of the 'value games' section. Price is $59.99
 
Sorry but I saw something about a dual band router for $21 mine just shit the bed and this sound alike it would be perfect. Dcpi? Please and thanks in advance!
 
I kinda wonder what their going to do with the display models of the Nexus Players they have in all their stores, they updated them with the new chrome cast but the nexus player is right next to it. I wonder if their working units or display dummies.

Large Edit: The Nexus Player seems to have been restocked in certain areas so you may want to check online, maybe returns or misplaced items or something. I Just rechecked 2 stores and found 1 plus will be heading further out to grab the few others i also see. :p

See one in Smyrna TN . $14.98 is the price that is showing up for all surrounding areas. Lucky I don't live near there...

ha yea when I did a search last week or so only one store said it had one. Now I see that store plus about 6 other stores have one in stock but they're all 20+ miles away. I would like one more but would suck to head all the way out there and there's none. Maybe I'll try calling and see if they'll put it off to the side for me.

But something tells me the ride isn't worth it, Walmart/Best buy have gotta be slashing these soon as well.

that brotherhood/DS3 doesn't sound bad. I don't really need one but if that drops a little more and it's still in stock might bite.

and I see a store pretty close to me has 4 dead island's rigor mortis editions. Might say screw it for ten bucks.

 
My store today only had one video game on clearance and that was Tekken Tag Tournament 2 on xbox 360, that I could find anyways. Was $9.98 , a while back it was on clearance for the same price when I originally got it.

looks like the Bose is out of the system... can't find a single store with it still with a price attached...  what happens when you go to buy these?  I've tried smaller items and was just told I couldn't buy them, but they weren't anything worth trying hard to get LOL

As deadtree said saw all of that clearance plus Draw U pad , Cabela Wild something with light gun, the Voice , Street Fighter X Tekken .anything that was big bulky or two packs. Also had about 50 Rockstar collections. Hoping to snag one or two for gifts. When they hit 70 percent off :)

Yikes 7 bucks? Hope it had even more off of it. Amazon has the deathproof/planet terror blu ray set for like 9 bucks brand new.

 
Lucked into a Google Nexus player this morning at a store that showed 4 on hand when it originally hit $24.98, but none were to be found. Was there for something else this morning, and there one sat in the clearance junk. Even more lucky, it rang up $14.98 despite being priced $24.98.

Yeah it was showing up as $14.98 on brickseek.com the other day when someone mentioned it in this thread that they happened to find more at stores.
