Blair has bad knees, so it's really hard to say at this point.

I think Hansbrough will be a better pro than many expect. With his size, hustle and ability to hit the jumper he'll at least be a solid role player.
I think Hansborough is going to be just like the analysts explain. He is too small to be a PF and not quick enough to be a SF. In other words, he will be a non-factor.
As for Turkoglu, didn't the owner say they'd be willing to pay luxury tax to keep him? Him opting out doesn't mean he's gone. He wants to come back and the management wants him back. I think there's a good chance he'll be back.
Otis Smith mentioned that by taking on Carter's pay that it will be difficult to afford Turkoglu. They had already offered him before the Carter trade and he didn't like the offer. Turkoglu's agent seems to think he will get a big payday because of his play taking the Magic to the Finals. We will see what happens July 1 if anyone gets interested in him for the 10 Million he hopes to get.
Cleveland and Orlando look good next year.

Im worried my Heat havent made any moves whatsoever plus no first round pick :(
Don't worry they are planning for next summer when they most likely will get Chris Bosh to come play with Wade.

I think he'll have a horrible rookie year. He won't get nearly the same amount of calls he got at UNC, and any decent defender will pack his shit hard when he tries to throw up all those off-balance shots he hit in college.

Amare to the Warriors?

fuckin' love it.....this plays into Nelson's hand....why?

Kerr's screwed.....no other team can offer what GS can and he knows Amare's a goner....idiot ran his mouth about how much he loved Curry.....now what's holding up the deal? Nelson wants more.....and he'll get more....

Kerr.....hang up the phone.....run off to Tuscon....you have no shot of winning a deal vs Nellie....

Biedrins/Bellnelli/Curry for Amare.....

Are you guys serious?

Amare Stoudemire from the PHX Suns going to the Warriors? I havent heard anything of the sort yet. I though Amare wanted to stay in Phoenix

www.espn.com It's the top headline.

Edit: Was, but still on front page.

Man. Golden State CANNOT give up both Biedrins and Curry. Amare is a big time player, but giving up FOUR players including the big man and the Curry is just dumb. You gotta keep Biedrins there at least to give GS more muscle in the middle. Don Nelson gotta realize that his DUMBASS Nellie ball ain't going to cut it against the better teams in the NBA.

Speaking as the lone Warrior fan here......Biedrins is fuckin' garbage.....

Curry's staying.....when the trade goes through it's gonna be:

Biedrins/Wright/Bellnelli/(Buke maybe) for Amare....

No Curry.....

And muscle from Biedrins? He weighs 12 lbs soaking wet....

Get the fuck out of here. No way is Phoenix trading Amare without getting Curry.

They won't get him.

The Suns are backed into a corner......Amare's leaving and they need something in return....

Sarver wants to dump cash and Kerr has to pull the trigger.

July 8th folks. We Believe is revived.

Curry/Ellis/Capn' Jack/Randolph/Amare
Doesn't matter. Portland is taking it all next year.
Right.............. I'm gonna say it comes down to 6 teams next year
Cleveland If Shaq is healthy and plays unselfishly thats a big if.
LA If they can stay on the roll that they are on.
Denver If they can play better as a team and not get discouraged
Boston If the big three are healthy and keep playing as a unit
Orlando If Howard becomes a better center
San Antonio If age doesn't do them in.
Knicks are trying to get Rubio supposedly. Who on their roster could the Timberwolves actually want?
They could probably get expiring contracts from the Knicks. Or, if they really wanted to, a S&T with David Lee or Nate Robinson. They'll probably keep Rubio and leave him off to Spain for a year or two.

I also think the Suns should at least get Curry if they deal Amare...

Yeah, but the Warriors are not the only team interested in Amare.

I'd take Curry, but I just don't see it happening.

Amare was offered for Rudy Gay and #2 pick......Grizz said no.

Amare was offered for Tyrus Thomas, Joakim Noah, and John Salmons.....Bulls said no.

Amare's a helluva talent....but he's injury proned....playing on a one year deal....and doesn't play defense....

Kerr will realize the Dubs offer is the best.

On talent alone, I love this deal. But what's gonna happen if Artest throws up 3 contested 3's in a row? Will he and Kobe get along? Will Phil or any other coach be able to control him?

So how about that deal? The W's reneged on the deal that was agreed upon, it's not going down. The Suns are negotiating an extension with him.

kobe and odom are friends with artest and phil handled rodman just fine so he shouldnt have any problem with artest :bouncy:

Is Phil coming back for his second year?

That Ariza/Artest deal tripped me out though. First reaction was WTF, but then I remembered what Artest is capable of after I regained sanity, then realized Ariza is going to a team with some big questions hanging over their team.

I REALLY hope the Lakers hold on to Odom though.

Turkoglu is off to Portland, as a magic fan its sad to see him go but at least he got a good young team thats not in the eastern conference.

I have no qualms with it......my whole stance was the dude had to be traded to us if he was going to be traded.....

If's he's re-signed then good for him getting that money......franchise is still circling the toilet.

 I can handle a rebuilding year, considering the Suns have only missed the playoffs twice in the last 15 years, unlike the Warriors who have only made it twice in the same span.

The only thing I worry about us rebuilding is I don't think Nash is going to stick around for however long that is going to be. He probably will want to go reunite with D'Antoni and play for the Knicks.
Turkoglu is off to Portland, as a magic fan its sad to see him go but at least he got a good young team thats not in the eastern conference.
Report now is that he spurned the Blazers and is going to Toronto.

Not tryin' to slight you.....but Steve Kerr has ruined your franchise.

Warriors? We're fuckin' clueless.....I accept teh suck.

But trying to re-sign Amare and keep Nash? Hello 10th pick in the NBA Draft.

That's a Warriors philosphy. I see all the signs......crap owner.....crap GM......crap draft picks....it all adds up buddy.

I do agree with that, Kerr is a fucking moron. If the trade with the W's would have gone through with Curry included, I think it would have been a nice start to rebuilding. I wouldn't count the Suns out next year though, I'm not saying they'll be a top contender or anything, but I want to see how they do under a full year of Gentry. The Porter hire was a disaster, and I'm glad he owned up to it and canned his ass. The team looked good for the few games they had before Amare re-injured his eye, so at least there's that glimmer of hope.
Report now is that he spurned the Blazers and is going to Toronto.
Yeah i like that a lot less, id rather have him in the west than the east, but either way, i think Portland is the better team. Doesn't make much of a difference either way now.

No shit, ph33r. No Suns fan is going to disagree with you regarding Kerr.

Our franchise needs new management and a new owner. We need to rebuild, our team is old and we really don't have any young talent since we have basically traded or sold every single one of our draft picks in previous years. I'm hoping us not making the playoffs last season will be a major wake up call.
