I know the Fox isn't baseball, but it is right across the street and the sign is awesome.

Enjoy. Notice how I stopped taking pictures during the day light? Yeah, I was ready to leave in the 4th.

Evan Longoria and Corey Hart are the final additions to the all star team. Dont know how the hell Hart got in over Burrell and Lee.

Holliday also replaces Soriano.

6 game winstreak for the mets today. I dont care who it is against. This is first time i can actually be happy about something..and again...where did Fernando Tatis come from(i know this wont last long but ill take it)
Manny during a pitching change the other day:

haha manny being manny. He could do anything he wants and he will not get fined or reprimanded for it.
Soriano didn't deserve to be on the All-Star roster in the first place.
I agree and starting nonetheless. Wasn't thrilled about Fuko, but he was a lot easier to swollow than Soriano. Speaking of the Cubs' Allstars, is Harden just going to be replaced on the AL Roster, or will he still pitch for the AL, even though he is in the NL. Since after all, he was voted an All Star.

I'm personally going to take the N Judah MUNI Bus to the AT&T Park and kill Tyler Walker.

This fat n' sweaty piece of shit keeps finding ways to fuck up. Matt Cain pitches a gem....holds the top team in the NL to 0 runs and this asshat blows it.

HE DID THE SAME THING A WEEK AGO BOCHY

make it 7 in a row and Ollie pitches another great game. Cook also pitched a helluva game. I now really hope this is the turnaround ive been waiting for after the tumultuous first 3 months of baseball.

I know this wont keep up for much longer but shit, if they can 2/3 or 3/4 ill take it obviously.

I still don't believe.

Good lord. The last time I looked at the score it was 7-0 Cubs in the 7th. I get back from running errands and find out we had to win it in extras. What the hell is wrong with Marmol? He went from lights out to getting lit up.

Hitters are finally starting to take some pitches instead of flailing at that nasty slider that breaks out of the zone.

Matsuzaka with another Houdini act. 6 IP, 4 H, 5 BB, 7 K, 0 ER. He's not really a good pitcher despite his sub 3 ERA. It's weird.
We are getting pwned by Lincecum this afternoon. That dude looks like he's twelve but he pitches like he's 30.
They sell t-shirts here in the City that have a picture of Lincecum and says "Keep Laughing, He'll eat his orange slices while you walk back to the dugout"

He has an 8.75 K/9. This does allow him to get out of some tougher spots.

He isn't 9-1 good, but his peripherals do show that he could be amazing if he had better control.

He is one of the more frustrating pitchers to watch.

The only pitcher currently in the game that ticks me off more is Steve Trachsel aka The Human Rain Delay.

Luckily, only Daisuke is on the Red Sox.
9 wins and Pelfry blanked the Rocks. Still dont believe yet? lol
Don't get me wrong, I still want and cheer for them to win. But after the way they started, I do not think this team is a Championship team. I am very happy for Pelfrey as I never gave up on him. I hope he continues to pitch the way he does. If he finishes off the season strong our top 3 starters next year of Santana, Maine, and Pelfrey look great.

During this win streak they beat up on Colorado and SF, two bottom of the barrel teams that the Mets should beat. I know they beat Philly 3 out of 4, but Philly has looked less than stellar lately as well. I'm happy the Mets are only .5 game out at the All-Star break after that TERRIBLE start, but believing this boat has totally turned around, they don't have me there yet.

Totally understandable. im just happy we beat someone consecutively. I mean before the Rockies took us out and same with the phils. Im happy we could actually dominate them. Yeah Im not getting my hopes up to much yet. Too Much baseball left to see if the turn around is real. but ill enjoy the win streak or this kind of play as long as it lasts.

No he is a good pitcher, he isn't a great pitcher and his record doesn't reflect the way he currently pitches. His only issue is walks...opp ba against is solid, k's, era are all solid. His whip isn't even that bad at 1.38. He just needs to pound the strike zone as up untill the last few starts since the dl visit, no one was hitting him.

A good pitcher is one that can get out of the inning without having runs scored. You can walk 10 guys, but if you never let in a run and go 6 or 7, then it doesn't matter.

Please tell me somebody just witnessed a phenom.....I've seen Bonds in person but nothing comes close to this Josh Hamilton...wow..
Yea there goes a former Devil Ray.....Damnit Friedmen I hate you so much. He could be our right fielder/center fielder right now!!
They stuck with the guy for nearly 3 years.....paying him millions that he wasted on blow....also let's say Hamilton got you X+ wins....that's a couple draft spots lower than wouldn't have given you Longoria, Young (traded)....

Hamilton just wore himself out. Even his old high school coach Counsil looked worn out. I wish I could've seen the first round, but all I could do was track it from work.

Hamilton is an amazing five-tool player. I get the pleasure of watching him every day here in Texas. Great seeing the 1-4 hitters (Kinsler, Young, Hamilton, Bradley) all getting into the All-Star game. As long as the pitching is decent, the Rangers can stay in the hunt for the division with their stacked lineup.

I don't know if I like the round format of the derby or would prefer to see all home runs carry over. On one hand, a single hot round should not determine the whole competition. That's not exciting to watch. But on the other hand, someone who gets 28 homeruns in the first round shouldn't loose.

The format is ridiculous....it penalizes a guy like Hamilton for going 100%....the whole Derby sucked ass....without Hamilton it'd be horrid....

The new era of the young baseball players aren't HomeRun jackers.....developed more into doubles hitters. Not saying that Howard/Fielder aren't ridiculous in hitting homeruns...but the days of Griffey/Bonds/A-Rod are dwindling down....

I mean cmon' Ryan Braun? and the winner Morneau? That was pretty pathetic...
So when does Selig declare a tie and assign the World Series in its entirety to Tokyo?
Ugh... when is he going to retire/get fired/die? He looks terrible and if he puts "Instant Replay" into baseball I will hate him more thna Barry Bonds.
