Wooooo! Rinne brought his A game tonight! 32 save shutout! I'll take it. :)
Guy is amazing. His rookie cards have doubled in value in the last couple months.

Good god what an amazing Caps/Rangers game. I was with a group who decided to bar hop after every period... Needless to say we visited a greater number of bars (and drank much more) than expected. Bummed that the Caps lost, but it was still super-entertaining.

I finally went to bed at 11 Central. I just couldn't stay up for another 15 minutes (or for however long it took for Gaborik to score).

It was awesome!

I'm really hoping he gets on the cover of NHL 13. He's in the top 16!
Kings are exactly the kind of team you don't want in the playoffs. A goalie that can win games by himself and is playing out of his mind, a defense that can take chances because of the steller keeper play, and forwards that can get it done.

Adios nucks.
Adios blues.

I honestly don't know who can stop the Kings at the moment. They've been completely dominant in the Playoffs thus far. But again, it might've just been favorable matchups to them.

I can see the kings winning the cup. As much as I hope the Blues can win 4 in a row that's going to be hard to do when you are down by 3 and your next loss puts you out.

Well, I'd rather see the Preds come back in this series than have Rinne on the cover. And even if he does get it...it will be a slap in the face if EA continues to make goalies that are fucking retarded. "Hey, there's 3 guys on the opposing team standing right in front of me...and none of my teammates are calling for the puck. Seems like a good time to pass it out!"

Barry Trotz has confirmed he is NOT changing the lineup from game 3.. they're gonna play without Rads and Kostitsyn again tonight.
Can you explain the waived off goal from NSH? I missed it.
I actually didn't SEE it myself as I was only listening to the game (don't have cable, and even in Nashville, the games aren't on OTA channels...if you can believe it). But what it sounded like was that the ref lost sight of the puck and thought it was covered or some shit. There was a scrum in front of the net, and they blew the whistle right before Fisher put it in. fucking stupid. 2nd straight game with a goal taken away too. Apparently, the refs are from Arizona and don't want their team to leave.

Poor Horny. lol... What a bunch of bull shit... They reviewed a Pred's goal but... it's not suppose to be a reviewable play and they are reviewing it... to get it right... WTF... Which is it...?

Well, from now on I'm putting money on the opposite of whatever I predict... Of course Smith out plays Rinne, dur. lol...

Well, it would definitely be the offense on notice and I think the Queen's O is a bit better. At least on paper. Guess that means I'm putting down money for the Yotes because the queens will go flat. lol...

The shittiest thing about this series for Nashville is the position that Radulov and ANDREI Kostitsyn (a lot of the "hilarious" memes didn't even realize the Preds have two Kostitsyns, har har...though the Roxbury one was really funny) put the team in because they wanted to be party boys.

Trotz is pretty much forced to sit them...and Rinne gets a shutout...making the move look genius. So, in the next game, Trotz goes with the same lineup...and they can't score...which now makes it look stupid that he sat his two leading scorers in the playoffs. It's just a fucking mess and was completely unprofessional. And it put their coach in a terrible spot, as he looks like a jerk no matter what he decides. If the Preds lose this series, the blame has to squarely fall on Radulov and Kostitsyn. They completely let the team down.

Again, I feel confused how to feel here. I don't know if LA is that good or if St. Louis just sucked horribly.

Man, it feels good to be a Kings fan right now. Last time I was this excited for LA Robitaille hadn't left yet and I was still feelin up girls in high school.

Kings fans put in some serious fucking time in the wilderness.

That is how St. Louis should have been playing. To bad they decided to show up when it was to late.

and the Sixers are up 3-1 over the Bulls.

This is bizarro world.

I'm gonna go hurl myself off the Ben Franklin. Crowded, but close.
it's too crowded. Try the Tacony-Palmyra.
Walt is closer, I live right around the corner from it.

Well, the Bulls lost their best player and haven't recovered mentally.

So in bizarro world, who wins the Stanley Cup?

Anyone but the Rangers or Devils.

That's who I'm going with. Quick is just playing to good right now and what does get by him he seems to get lucky with. I saw 2 chances for the Blues to tie the game yesterday but they hit the posts and were off by a few inches.

Zubrus is 6'5", Giroux 5'11". Giroux's skates never left the ice. Zubrus moved his shoulder such that the contact went to his head, which was down.

The fact that this led to a penalty, let alone a disciplinary hearing, is preposterous. If he is suspended, Niklas Kronwall should have been beheaded for his hit on Jakub Voracek back in April.

Flyers aren't coming back regardless of what happens. Stick a fork in them. No way they can get the goaltending to win 3 straight against new jersey.

That's the ironic thing - Bryz has been better than usual against NJ the last three games. When you face 45+ shots and your opponents spend as much time in the zone as the Flyers' D lets them spend, you're gonna get scored on, even if you're Quick, Smith, or Lundqvist. Bryz is shakier than those three for sure, but he's the absolute *last* person in orange and black to blame for the last three games.

Oh I'm not blaming him. I just think even of thr Flyers play great, I see him having at least one bad game out of 3

Giroux will get something. Maybe not a suspension but a fine possibly. There was clear intent, the puck was long gone, it was a direct shot to the head, not one that initially contacts the shoulder and then rides up. The penalty called was "Illegal check to the head".

Of course, the NHL dishes out mostly for injuries which is sad. Punish the action, not the result of the action.
