I can't find a trade in value for an item?
It might not be tradable or calling a store to find the value may be the only option.

How many copies of a game can I trade in?
You are allowed to trade in 4 copies of the same game (same system) within a rolling 30 day period.

Are there trade limits?
Yes, $500 cash minus some electronic trade ins and or $2000 trade credit in a rolling 30 day period.

Can I use the $5 monthly coupon on gift cards?

Yes you can in store but not online please note not all gift cards will apply to this rule.

I have a $XX.xx pre-owned reward certificate, and I want to use it on a B2G1 transaction. Should I?
It depends. If the three games are equal value, do not use your certificate. The value of the certificate would be applied to the free game, which would not benefit you. If one game is more expensive, you can use the certificate to make it the same value as the other two games ($5 reward certificate applied to transaction with two $10 games and one $15 game would make all three games $10).


TERMINOLOGY AND LINGO:
ASL/SL: Assistant Store Leader, Store Leader; manager positions at GS.
B2G1: Buy two, get one free.
GS: GameStop
JD: Junior detective, an employee who is out to get someone
LP: Loss Prevention; this is the department that actually bans accounts after being flagged.
TC/TiC: Trade credit.
TIV/TV: Trade in value, or what a game currently trades for. When posting a TV for a game, always use the base value.

bad news, just got a most wanted trade email, mario all stars is listed and it's actually a lower trade value than it was a couple weeks ago.

most of the games from the link they send are $2 or $4 higher than they have been.

you can also search "most wanted" on the trade in page or regular page and you get the same results with the addition of all the need for speed most wanted games

It dropped to $50 on 4/25, it was $60 from 4/11, and $65 base on 3/28. They have almost 1400 copies, so I expect value to stay lower as I doubt copies are going to move quickly at $119.99.

I thought the limit on a trade card was $1000. How did you get that much at one time to go on one card?

So what's the deal with these so-called "deals" GameStop has this week? They advertise $15 games, but after checking every one of them, none are available in-store or online. What's the point of the promotion if there's nothing to actually buy? I just don't get it.

The promotion is broken on the frequently-broken website. We can wait for the team of monkey technicians to fix it or check to see if it's working in-store once stores open.

Thought it was just me! I was getting the same error on Chrome. Tried it on Firefox and it worked. Give that a shot.

It appears to me that the preowned prices just updated relative to the 15/30 promos. So even if new is unavailable, try preowned.

Resident Evil 2&3 PS5 are part of the most wanted games and are currently $20 at walmart. Could be a good flip.

Some games I wanted went OOS quickly or were never in stock.
I checked both used and new.

New has not been available for the vast majority of the 15/30 titles since the promo started. It might be an error or it might have been intentionally disabled for these titles so that they would clear out instore without shipping costs.

What the website has in-stock as pre-owned is available right now. I just ordered 7 games with trade credit. The monthly $5 applied as well.

I'm going to check instore tomorrow for some New titles I'd really like. There's a chance New stock becomes available online at some point, but I'm not going to compromise sleep for that possibility. Happy hunting, cags.

Madden NFL 25 for ps4 is $20 base, while pre-owned price is $13.99. Trade value increase is part of MWT so will likely drop once that is over.
