Week 5: New England Patriots

Week 4: Dallas Cowboys
Week 3: Pittsburgh Steelers
Week 2: Chicago Bears
Week 1: Seattle Seahawks

I guess I will take the Houston Texans this week. A bit of a gamble, and maybe I will change this later, but I feel like I need to save my better picks for later.

This is the toughest week by far so far this season. New England and Dallas are the safest picks but I already used both. The Indy-Tampa Bay game scares the hell out of me. I've narrowed my pick down to Tennessee, Pittsburgh, or Baltimore. After deliberation, my pick is.......

Week 5: Pittsburgh Steelers

Week 1: Minnesota Vikings
Week 2: Jacksonville Jaguars
Week 3: New England Patriots
Week 4: Dallas Cowboys

Week 5 - Tennessee Titans

- Previous Picks -
Week 1 - Pittsburgh Steelers
Week 2 - Green Bay Packers
Week 3 - New England Patriots
Week 4 - Dallas Cowboys
That Tennessee game was close, but at least I made it through another week.
You think you had it close? I picked Houston this week.

Arizona's trying to mess with me also. You'd think a 10 point lead with just a few minutes to go would be safe, but they're not looking too great right now.

Week five results.

I'm slowly realizing how this game never makes it to the playoffs without everyone being eliminated. Looking at who I have left to pick from, I have maybe 2 "safe" picks remaining in the Packers and the Colts. Beyond that things will get very tricky.

Those "safe" teams become less and less safe as the year goes on, none of them will go undefeated, and it's usually a loss to a crap team in games 7 - 10 that kill an undefeated season...

That being said, I still have the Patriots, the Packers (don't know how 'safe' they are), the Steelers, I've used the Cowboys and the Colts... but I did manage to squeak out wins with Seattle and Chicago, too....so that's good.

The next two or three weeks will be interesting.

Personally I think I had dumb luck with some of my picks, considering I chose the Lions, Panthers, and Texans so far. Pittsburgh and Green Bay were my safe teams so far.

damn, was hoping we'd get some people eliminated this week :p

as it stands now, still got the same twenty we started with. yay?

ah well, on to week six in the national football league.

After thinking about this WAAAAAAAAYYYYY too much, and changing my mind about 15 times, I've decided to go with San Diego for week 6.

yeaaaah I think I'm just gonna take my Bye week this week. whew this is a brutal weekend coming up here.

Week 3: Panthers
Week 4: Packers
Week 5: Texans

I'm tempted to go with Cleveland too... Miami *is* that bad. I'm gonna take San Diego for now though, hopefully last weeks game was San Diego waking up to go on a tear to the play-offs.

Ok EDIT: I may regret this, but I'm switching my pick to Baltimore this week.

Kicking myself a little for not having the guts to stick with my first plan for this week, the Browns. San Diego has an early 14-0 lead, though, so that's making me feel a little better about it for now at least.

Kind of funny Cleveland, San Diego and Baltimore all won. Although, I guess it was expected. I also find it funny that Seattle is down so much, after Mort wished misfortune upon all those picking Baltimore :D
