The Admiral's 2007 NFL "It's a trap!" Pool! Danimal is the 2007 Grand Prize Winner!!!

Very glad I switched from Seattle to Baltimore after some thinking.

Next week looks tough to pick again though.

Note, the following is not my pick, (yet), on paper that New England game looks like an OBVIOUS winner, but it's one of those games that might end up being a real shocker....

I guess I'll be the brave one and make the first pick this week: Dallas

Week 1: Steelers
Week 2: Lions
Week 3: Panthers
Week 4: Packers
Week 5: Texans
Week 6: Bye

tampa bay looks good over Detroid for me

hmm on second thought, I think i'll take a big shot in the dark and go with New Orleans over Atlanta. I mean, they've gotta be the better team right?
I think a mistake has been made; Seattle lost last weekend, but the people who chose them are still in it.
Shhh...;)

Good eye there. I had noticed that people had lost when I was looking over the scores that day, but I had not noticed that the Admiral had not booted them off the island!

Never underestimate my Broncos! ;)

Or pick against a team that's desparate to win and at home. The Broncos had high aspirations to start the season, and Pittsburgh's biggest flaw is their poor road play. I actually picked Denver to win the game in my pick 'em. Sadly, I'm not on the CAG one, as I won't even go into my record the past two weeks so as not to jinx it.

Yup. I expected Denver to have a lot better record by now. They have a lot of talent, the question is what games it will come out. That is why it is not a safe pick for or against in most situations.

I also picked Denver in my pick 'em, and I am in the CAG one, but sadly for me my other picks were not as good.

Really wish I could make that my pick too.

San Diego for now, pending on how out of control the fires get.

4) Cowboys

For the second time this year, I'm finding myself really tempted to go with the Browns. Like last time, though, I think I'll just sit down until the feeling goes away.

I'll take New England for week 8.

I am having that strange feeling to pick the Browns as well. I do not trust that feeling!

I think this week I choose the Titans.

Week 1: Steelers
Week 2: Lions
Week 3: Panthers
Week 4: Packers
Week 5: Texans
Week 6: Bye
Week 7: Cowboys

Brutal week this week. I've narrowed it to the Titans and the Chargers. After much deliberation, my pick is...

Week 8: Tennessee Titans

Week 1: Minnesota Vikings
Week 2: Jacksonville Jaguars
Week 3: New England Patriots
Week 4: Dallas Cowboys
Week 5: Pittsburgh Steelers

With Stephan Jackson coming back this week, I'd be real hesitant to pick Cleveland. Few teams go 0-16, I think this is the week that St Louis gets their win finally. Although, I definitely wouldn't make the winless Rams my suicide pool pick either!

Now that San Diego is playing at home and the fires are dying down, I feel as though they're going to rally together and really go for the win for their fans and everyone who has suffered through that tragedy.

Agreed. Jackson coming back this week removes any temptation I might have felt to go with Cleveland. It makes the game a toss-up in my mind.

Well, we did fine. Three points is not that much, but a win is a win.
