I don't think they look that good... I think the Nike AF1 PlayStation shoes... are WAY nicer...

Id wear mine everyday and if they price them around $60 or under ill possibly buy a pair. If its $40 or under ill buy them in a hearbeat.

They make em in adult sizes and run about $60....however I am a cheapass and I cant justify the cost. I mean I can buy a $20 pair of shoes at walmart/payless and make em last a few years and spend the extra $40 on games or a nice dinner with my fiancee.

The PS ones are the same over the top hip hop shoes we see everyday. Atleast the Nintendo ones are something different and an expresion of something other then yo dawg I got $200 kicks.

the only way id really wear Nintendo merchandise like that is if it discreetly displayed its nintnedoness. Like if it were Zelda themed shoes if it was like link tunic green and on the tongue had all three triforce. Something simple and tasteful.

I used to own a pair of Sonic the Hedgehog sneakers. They were out around the time of Sonic 2 I believe. I never wore them, was too embarrassed to even then and I was like what... 11? Anyway those Mario shoes are fugly but the Playstation ones are pretty sleek.

Geekdom to the next level. If you wore those Mario ones out in public you are just asking for it.

Seriously, who would actually wear the things and ruin their dubious glory? Especially with the potential for their value to rise in the future... them shoes could fund your retirement!

... The PS shoes are less ugly, but I wouldn't wear either of 'em, personally. At least the black makes them a little more 'deco' if you'd be inclined to keep them for collectable value.
 
My new balance shoes cost $120(actually $90 since I found a discount) but I have no real choice since only a few shoe manufacturers go up to size 14 and 15 in mens.

but they're extremely comfy
 
I once had a pair of LA Gear with the blinking lights in the heel.

I wore them once and the light stopped blinking, so my parents returned them and bought me a pair of Chucks instead.
 
Wow, those Playstation shoes are HORRENDOUS. Its no wonder they're limited to 150, there aren't even 151 people in the world that would want them.
 
I like the Nintendo shoes but I only think they would look good on a girl.

I got a pair of the PlayStation shoes. Mine are number #75, I believe. The design grows on you: They're patent leather and very comfortable. For the haters, here's a true story:
I was at the NBA All-Star Game with Sony last year, and we were doing a thing with LeBron James. One of the other guys had on his pair of PlayStation Nikes, and LeBron was like, "Those are phat shoes. It sucks they didn't make any in size 15."

How many times in your life will you be able to own something King James is jealous of?

I think its funny and sad that we live in a society where girls can wear pretty much any damned thing they want and maybe people think hmmm strange outfit but its acceptable....yet men are thought to be gay, mentally ill, only out for attention and are open game to insult.

Honestly if a girl goes out wearing bright mismatching knee high socks people just think she is free spirited, at worst they might chuckle. But seriously if a guy did the same thing there is a fair chance he would openly be called a ***(starts with an F).
