You could also check deepdiscount.com dallow (I assume they still sell some media cabinets and things.) Shipping is free for them there as well. Not sure what all they have and if the prices are competitive though.
DD's stuff is on-par with what you'd find at other retail places. StoreYourMedia.com has lots of great stuff, and I haven't found any other places with as wide of a selection.

In other news, the adapters I ordered from Monoprice.com on Saturday arrived.
Last place they can be is my friend's place, where I will probably check later. If they're not there, they're lost, and I'll have to drop another $20 to get new ones :(
Well good luck, sir.
Zodiac = great film. I wish it was longer.
I'll probably redbox that one. Although I hate when shows/whatever are made around real life murderers.
Earbuds. I use those a lot, as taking my big headphones around is a pain in the ass.
I've been real happy with these Koss Plug ones I picked up a couple years back:

Right over here.
It's only like 5 hours long.
It was pretty damn long. I'm hoping he was being sarcastic.
What kind of earbuds you looking into?

These have great reviews and are under $10 shipping+tax if you get it from BlueProton.

Those are the ones I have, and I fucking love them. Great sound and all. If I can't find mine, I'll probably just get those again.
You know you'll find them as soon as you order new ones.
And that's the exact reason I don't want to order new ones. $20 is a lot to pointlessly spend.

Zodiac is a long one eh? Had no idea. I can't stand 2+ hour movies that have boring stretches. Just cut some crap out.

You should check your furry costewmz.

Man you don't even know. See it's about tracking the Zodiac serial killer, right? Well, for like a whole year he doesn't kill anyone. Maybe even longer. The movie actually has that long of a gap in it. A whole goddamn year of filler! Every scene is just Jake Gyllenhall waking up and saying "No one killed to-day!" and then he makes himself some toast.

You're watching it and actually sort of wanting someone to die just so some shit will happen.

Comedian Girl went out of town last night. I'm leaving for Texas this Sunday, so I won't be seeing her again for 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. :whistle2:(

Her brother seems to be doing better, by the way. At least, he hasn't tried to off himself again yet. Maybe he's waiting until he gets to Turkey, though. :whistle2:k

Loving the new TV, I think I finally calibrated the colors close enough. Only problem is the 360 dashboard looks a little washed out for some reason.

Saw Zodiac last night too for the third time(twice theatrically, once yesterday on DVD). Loved the way they captured the 70s/late 60s. It's around 2.5+ hours long, but I found it fascinating so that wasn't an issue. I read a blurb about a director's cut coming next year on DVD, can't imagine what Fincher's going to add but I can't wait, hopefully it'll be out on either HD format.

Personally, I think home video has largely ruined movies. Now when I go out to see a movie in the theater people act like they're on their fucking couch and god forbid a movie is longer than 90 minutes.

If you want to see a movie that captured the 60's/70's well in terms of journalism, go rent All the President's Men with Robert Redford.

It's better than Zodiac. I don't know by how much, neither were my favorite movie ever.
Comedian Girl? Are you turning into dallow? :whistle2:s
I didn't ask before, but why are you coming to Texas subs?
Visiting family outside of Houston. And also driving a car over to the boarder for my grandfather. I'm leaving Sunday morning, stopping in Emporia for breakfast with a friend, and then getting there whenever I get there.
Comedian Girl? Are you turning into dallow? :whistle2:s
Well I've talked about her a few times and it's an easy way to remember her. Shorter to type out than "Girl who was nearly deafened or killed who's brother's finance burned to death in a car and then he tried to kill himself and finally their grandfather died all in one week."

Besides, I'd already used "New Girl" for the short girl with the large breasts.

Just upgraded to an LG EnV for free

vzw_env.jpg

2 megapixel camera

full qwerty keyboard

stereo speakers for the mp3 player

It's the hotness.
It'd go faster if you posted some BOOBS.
This is the first thing that popped into my head.

"What the world
Needs now
Is boobs
Sweet boobs"

No new seat for me until tomorrow. Yay.

Gah! I've got a headache and have a bunch of homework to do. I'll probably do this "take home test" that my pre-calc teacher gave us and then not study for my final .
I recently found out that some people carry phone INSURANCE for their expensive phones, in case its lost or stolen or something.
Yes, people do that. I know that's an odd thing for you to understand, though some people consider it easier to deal with a few dollars a month to prevent them from spending much more money on a phone that's stolen, lost or damaged.
I recently found out that some people carry phone INSURANCE for their expensive phones, in case its lost or stolen or something.
I told you that like a month or longer ago.

I remember your response:

Phone insurance?
GET OFF MY LAWN!

oh no, it makes perfect sense to insure an expensive item that is potentially lost or stolen a little bit more than your everyday household items.

What boggles my mind is that phones would be so expensive for this to be a legitimate option.

Time for a gross story ....

Warning: Dont click spoiler unless you can stomach a gross toe related story :)
I'm not kidding, its gross. Read on at your own peril ...
So the other day I was doing some work at my buddy's house helping him clear stuff out of one of his sheds when I somehow manage to crack part of my big toe's toenail in half. So being the idiot I am I think .. well the part thats off has to come off totally somehow so I just manned up and tore it off. It's now 5 days later and at some point at work today I must've done something to make the healing part start to bleed .. cause just a few minutes ago I go to take my socks off and thread from my socks have fused with the drying blood of the underpart of my remaining toenail. So I just had to tear that shit off. It hurt like a somebitch. And thats my horrible story. It's like goatse in text form.
