A friend had me convinced to go to "Harbor Fest" with him, but I backed out like a real man. Downtown Norfolk in the middle of a summer festival and 4th of July weekend? No thanks.
Ok, but you have to let me preload it with gay porn first.
I usually pay extra for that stuff but okay.

Temp, do you read The Walking dead by issue or by TPB?

The thing I hate about picking up a series when it's already progressed so far like TWD is that there's so much to catch up on, it's expensive as fuck.
Congrats, Budge. Hope you had a good time.
I did have a good time. This sunburn is making me feel completely shitty though, I don't think I have ever had sunburn this bad before.

Yeah, I just put some of that on, and it didn't really seem to do anything.

What is really bothering me is the fact that everywhere I go, I feel like it is 100 degrees in the room even though the AC is on full blast and as cold as it on go. Plus the ceiling fan is on it's highest setting also.

I read it by TPB.

Yeah, they aren't cheap and they only take about five minutes to read, so it can be costly.

Anyway, you have a few options. First, don't buy them at a store like B&N unless you know somebody who works there that can hook you up with their discount (I did).

Second, they do have larger collections available, but you'll wait that much longer inbetween releases. It's probably cheaper to go bulk that way, but it depends on how long you want to wait.

Third, you could check ebay for lot auctions that has a bunch in one. You'd probably save quite a bit of money that way.

Lastly, I usually buy mine from Deepdiscount.com because quite often they'll have some sort of coupon that lets you save on their book selection, or, buy used (or new) from private sellers on amazon.

Hope that helps.

see, i'd have no problem buying the comic monthly since the cost is spread out over time. it's just inconvenient to start now when there's like 10 volumes out at 10 dollars each.
http://www.amazon.com/Walking-Dead-...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1246658948&sr=8-1

Get that. It has the first 48 issues of it, and then you can catch up pretty quickly after that. So maybe $50 to get caught up?
Yeah, but if he starts that, then he has to wait until the next big book is released which could take anywhere from six months to a year, unless he wanted a mixed match collection. Plus, he already owns the first book.

Plus, look at the size of the thing. There's no way that would stay together for very long.

Well, honestly I would prefer to get the individual books. However, if he was looking to get something slightly cheaper, then that is an option.

I read it by issue, and it stinks that way. Some months it's super fucking awesome, some months it crawls like a baby.

I went to 2 waterparks on my vacation. I used 30SPF sunscreen multiple time during those days, and I got redder than a fucking beet.
Yea, I have a bad case of sunburn right now too Budge. You tried Aloe Vera lotion?
AV didn't help me. I've been shedding skin since Monday, even though I've kept my sunburn moistened.
I got my soundbar :)

But I can't try it until later :(
You should try it w/ COD4 or Shadowrun.

manthing, is your sig supposed to say "salf"?
No, it's supposed to say $$$$$$y SubContinent $$$$$$s should play COD4 when I ask.

$$$.
I got my Dreamcast BBA yesterday.

In case anyone gives a shit.
Whats the what?

So Jon bought me FF:CC EoT from Amazon and I open the box and break their thick plastic covering and see the game case isn't wrapped. Sure enough the cartridge is missing. Direct from Amazon. I'm never had that happen before.

About TWD:

I wouldn't like reading that gigantic book even though it's cheaper. It's kind of inconvenient. Plus, I already got the first volume (not book, since it appears as though those are different things).

If I like it and want to buy the rest of the series, I'll likely buy volume 2, then buy it by books until I'm done with those. Then I'll get whatever TPBs aren't in books yet, and probably single issues since I'm impatient.
You sold your surround sound already too, right? Ouch.
I wasn't keeping it regardless.

Just put it ontop of my tv and it sounds a lot better. Maybe it was too low?

where the fuck are you manwang?! you tweet me to come home and play rb2 then when i come home and get on xbl you are nowhere to be found!

Good luck, Rock.

Just tested it with a few games and it's like night and day. My bed sits pretty high so guess that was the problem.
