Anyways, I think at this point MGS4 is running the risk of being overexposed. The new TGS trailer was pretty good though. Naomi
Naomi Campbell......

Was that The Boss at the end?

Lol...

I just got an Email saying my Fatal Fury Battle Archives Vol 1. is on its way.

When did I order this game?

I do not know. It says the date, but I honestly dont even remember doing that.. at like 3am. :[ Oh well, atleast its only a 2.99 game. ^__^

Free shipping, ships out monday, in my hands Tuesday morning.

They fucked up, bad. The CSR was even telling me how they're getting 100s of calls for the same issue and they ''dont know where the warehouse went wrong''. So 53.99 isn't bad if I'm getting it that same day it would originally come out. I'll just put what I had on it at Gamestop towards FFT: The Lion Wars or whatever its called.

I wonder how long it takes Best Buy to ship out their games. I hope I get Halo 3 by the weekend, and that would give them 3 days to ship it to me. I get the feeling i'll get my MS points before I get the game.

Woot! My wife just called and said I got a delivery. Growlanser was just delivered to my house. Not bad considering I used SAVER to get free shipping and they sent it 3-Day Select (I got it in two days).
I actually bought Blue Dragon, but exchanged it for skate.

Blue Dragon interests me, a little... but I don't have the time for it, what with Halo 3 coming out so soon.

(I wound up getting DiRT, skate. and Medal of Shit.)

I'm going to sell it after I beat it -- but not for twenty.
I was trying to think of other PS3 games that would be worth $60 right now and there weren't any I could think of. Same for the 360 side of things, save Oblivion and Blue Dragon. Though, if sales of Blue Dragon aren't that great by now, it may have a drop shortly.
Eviltude:

Dualshock 3
I'll be getting that when it comes out. I was thinkining when I was playing the Folklore demo and pulling the spirits out that something was missing and I realized it was the rumble. It would add a lot when you pull and at a certain point you get a "bump" feel from the controller. Now the only thing the ps3 controller needs is a bigger/thicker version of it so I could hold it comfortably.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma?

I just can't come up with another two that I don't have already.
You motherfucker.

At Evil, you thought I was black, too?
I just kind of figured. With all the music you listen to and clothing/shoes you have talked about/shown coupled with your avatar, it was just assumed. I don't identify people as much with their avatar's as I used to since everyone has been switching them up so much recently. Hell, even though I know dallow's a dude, when he had the chick avatar I always thought of him as a chick .

You gotta wait for Spring to get a controller that looks exactly like the old one so you can have a rumble in your games?

Noice...?
Guess I should change my avatar then.
Werd. I thought for the longest time that daphatty was black too thanks to his avatar. Just like I thought dcfox was a white dude. And I thought wubb was a penguin.

 Completely understandable.
How's Darkwatch?
It's actually a pretty decent FPS so far. Great atmosphere and setting. It's also backward's compatable for the 360.

I was thinking about picking it up. How does it control?
Ninja Gaiden Sigma?

I just can't come up with another two that I don't have already.
Let me preface that I already have NGS and Resistance. NGS was $9.99 from Amazon after a $50 GC and Resistance was $39.99 when it was a DOTD.
I was thinking about picking it up. How does it control?
It's controls like your basic FPS. Right trigger fires your primary weapon, left trigger your secondary weapon. You can lean around walls and crouch. The damage you deal on enemies is location based, so head shots obviously do the most damage. And it's pretty easy to hit everyone in the head. You can also pistol whip enemies if they get too close.

There are also your vampiric powers that you can use with a touch of a button.

If you can get it on the cheap, I'd recommend it.
Only one cup, but you know how that shit goes right through you.
You and your kidneys seem to be having a piss-poor problem at the moment.

Nice, thanks for the review, I was on the fence about it but it sounds like it could be some cheap fun if I can find it at the right price.
I'm kinda glad the PS3 is going back to rumble. Now, if they'd drop the motion sensing, I'd be sold.

I've been kinda worried about that, because I hold the controller at an angle - with my right hand higher than my left (probably a hold-over from the old Atari days where I'd use my left hand to hold the bottom of the controller and my right hand on the joystick).

I know it's probably a dumb thing to fret over and it really isn't that big of a deal...
From my little experience with it, the motion sensing is mostly an accelerometer... so it works like a wii-mote, i'd wager... it figures out that you're moving from where you held it, it doesn't seem that the tilt has any real effect on it.

Besides, on a lot of games, it's optional if they even decided to use it. Only certain PSN games (super rub-a-dub, fl0w, locoroco) and Lair use it extensively/exclusively.
That sucks. I figured it was too good to be true. A big company like that would get a nice fine from Microsoft.
It was worth a shot, I had nothing to lose. I got it for 53.99. Just woulda been nice if they didnt fuck up and give everyone tracking numbers and let them know their order has shipped.. when Fed-Ex doesnt even have the package themselves. It'll be here Tuesday though.

fuck. Wish I'd known about the DOTD... probably long before I considered the ps3.

Is it only Chika that has played Super Rub a Dub?
Cause then you'd know.

You have to keep the control level for games that used the SIXAXIS in that way.
The Wiimote also has tilt control.
fuck. Wish I'd known about the DOTD... probably long before I considered the ps3.
July 19th was when it happened, which was the week after I picked up the PS3.
The DOTD needs more PS3 love...I'd love to pick up some launch titles for < $20. Like Genji or Untold Legends
I'm with you there. From what I remember, the only ones recently were Resistance and All Pro Football 2K8. I'd pick up Genji, Untold Legends and Full Auto 2 for the $20-$25 pricetag.
I wonder how long before PS3 Slim comes out. I'll probably buy one then.
It took Sony 4 years to bring out the PS2 slim, so think about 2010 for that one.

Did you try the genji demo? I did in hopes of fighting a giant enemy crab, but i didn't get very far -- it seemed very clunky/cludgy to me.

I can wait. I bought my first PS2 only one year ago. :D

The most I've done with the six-axis was:
(a) shaking for ninpo in the NGS demo
(b) upwards motion for folklore demo where you extract the entities
(c) watch chika play super rub-a-dub
(d) seen that motion control could be turned off in the HP:OotP demo (which happened automagically, since a DS2 controller was being used)

I think what I was trying to go for was that most PS3 games don't use the sixaxis extensively (save lair and those psn games i mentioned), and ones that do use it in limited capacity don't seem to do much with the "tilt" motion, so holding the controller funny wouldn't have much effect, I'd wager.

I fell asleep.

Now I am awake.

I was happier asleep.

EDIT: I see nothing wrong, Temp...as far as if they are trying to emulate GS's pricing...

Aww Plume. Depressed much?
You didn't just cancel?
After theyve given you a tracking # apparently they can't cancel it. I'd have to refuse the game, then wait 3-5 business days after they receive it back for my full refund... so I'll just stick with the copy for 54.00 and free overnight shipping.

Oh god, don't encourage them. I don't think I can stand anymore mind-boggeling.
