The Critically Acclaimed Abraham Washington Wrestling Thread
I see you are still alive, so you must speak of your tale and how you managed to survive that ordeal. Tl:DR, how was it?
My conscious kicked in and I didnt actually eat the whole thing. I ordered the grilled version.. but ended up eating only one of the breast "buns".

To be honest Im betting it could of tasted good..but the nutritional value must just be plain horrible

I think they got their idea/inspiration from this Paula Deen episode. I mean, I guess the nutritional value could be worse. I want some restaurant to actually put this on their menu. My friend made one once and said it was delicious.

if there is a promo tomorrow based around duct tape i seriously will not be able to contain the laughter.

wrestlecrap at its finest....

also, didnt vince recently blast TNA for poor booking?

Why does everyone act like the Double Down is the worst thing ever? It might LOOK outrageously unhealthy, but it's pretty much the same, if not slightly less fattening than a Big Mac/Whopper/etc. You don't see people complaining (nearly as much) about those two.

waitwaitwait.

Cena duct-taped Batista's feet together?

didn't someone here predict that? Or was it a PWTorch columnist? I swear I read someone predict that this afternoon.

lol.

omfg... doughnuts?
So, from the sounds of it, the Double Down was the only good part of this show?
Vince even showed it after the Shad/JTG match. Subtle.

Its too bad "TV Streams" don't get Nielsen ratings because I am pretty sure most the people at home turned it off after the cage match.

They have talked about using Lo-Ki as a ghost from Rey's past for a long time, but the fact that Joey Mercury is wrestling dark matching in SES clothing makes me doubt it was Lo-Ki

Step 1 Armdrag
Step 2 Armbar
Step 3 Moss covered 3 handled family gradunzle.

wait my list only has 1004 steps on it.
negative 5 star match. What a shit ending.
A bad ending does not make it a -5 star match. That's retarded. Sadly, it's far from the dumbest thing you have posted.

Calm down Matt, it was sarcasm. However any match that has Jericho jobbing is horrible in my book.

I'm perfectly calm. But I had no reason to think you were being facetious. And in case you think it has to do with our past history, it doesn't. I would have made the same comment to anyone else who said that.

The show actually sounded pretty good for the most part.

I was enjoying the PPV up until that ending, just left a sour taste in my mouth. Up to that point, all of the Mania rematches were far better and felt like a bigger deal than they did at Wrestlemania. Edge/Jericho did go a little too far into the dramatic at the end with all of the talking and goofy intense Edge faces.

The ending to Cena/Batista just makes both guys look bad - as did Cena magically jumping to his feet at full speed every time the count hit 9. Batista to me did a much better job at making the 10 count look convincing. He was barely planting his feet when the ref got to 10.
....I decided to read that while watching this match. ARE YOU SERIOUS???? That's beyond cold blooded...that's heartless
WWE firing Dawn Marie while she was pregnant was much worse. As was them firing Haas the first while his wife was pregnant.

I enjoyed the PPV for the following reasons...

1) I wasn't expecting much out of most of the card (which is why I thought the Cena/Brotista ending was so great)
2) I was watching it while talking to a bunch of friends in a chat room, making it all the more hilarious (comparing Randy and Swagger to Pokemon, for instance)

I was pleasantly surprised at the outcomes of just about every match, save for Sheamus/HHH (too boring) and Edge/Jericho (ending was too drawn out, otherwise great).

I laughed my ass off when one of the blogs called the Cryme Tyme strap match "two black guys whipping each other".

That's pretty fucked up. I wonder if the same blog speculated that it was Gail Kim who smashed Bret Hart's leg with the car. CAUSE SHE'S ASIAN AND A WOMAN LOL

just crossed my mind that i might not be around to make a new topic tonight if we break 500, which is possible with the all the draft talk. todays my 25th birthday and i will more than likely be out and about til the wee hours of the am. i know i called next thread but so it goes.

edit: christ did we ever run through this thread quickly

It would have been neat if Wade Barrett helped Jericho in the Cage match. Jericho-Barrett would be a good tag alliance and Barrett would have received a semi-big push if his interference against Edge helped Jericho win.

Bad news, Borders has the release date listed as February 16, 2011. That's too far away

Who was the first CAG to wish you a happy birthday?

I predict that Raw will open with Teddy Long welcoming us all, and then introducing the first match where the winner's brand gets a pick. I already posted my draft predictions in this thread.

Also, please stop making a post literally every minute.

I thought we were doing the opposite. It's 11 A.M. now. Raw starts at 5 P.M. We're not going to get 120+ replies in that time, and we'll just end up with 1/3-1/2 of the draft discussion in this topic, and then the rest will be in the new one, breaking up the discussion.
... why not just start a Draft thread once the show starts, officially ending this thread's existance?
I endorse this idea.

Cheap Ass Gamer would like to wish The Critically Acclaimed Abraham Washington Wrestling Thread the best in its future endeavors.

I want to see Striker drafted to Raw and Cole to Smackdown. King and Striker taking shots at one another all the time would be great.

I think the Star Wars Kid may have finally met his match. I think its funny comments are disabled too. That means the kid in the video is also the poster, and couldn't handle being made fun of.
