I hope you're not talking about American Football. :bomb:

Soccer is lame but NASCAR is the worst. How somebody could shit on soccer whilst watching boring looking cars drive in circles for hours is beyond me.

Who the hell are you?

And yes. I am talking about "American Football."

Just a guy who disagrees with your opinion.

The problem is that americans don't understand how to watch soccer. It's not only about scoring. it's about manuever. But americans don't watch any games where manuever matters on a large scale. The closest is hockey.

I asked yesterday if the slim had an ir port. I guess I'm not thge only one. Anand got asked about it so much that they had to frontpage the answer.

IR port?

I guess this will seem racist somehow based on the common trait shared between them, but I want Will Smith's kid and the new Playstation 'apprentice' kid to disappear from show business.

Exit Through The Gift Shop is playing this weekend at a small theater here. Looks like I'll be seeing that, since I can't use my free Toy Story tickets until next week.

fuck. The dude who tabbed me out last night at the bar didn't give me my ID back and I'm not used to having to give my shit out to start a tab so I forgot it. It's still there, it just sucks that I have to go out of my way to get it tomorrow.
Sony is offering a free preview of MLB.tv on PS3.

But...

It doesn't fucking work. Great job Sony.
It only does . . . schadenfreude.

No wonder Mak seemed a bit evil last night...and I thought it was weird that he was on later than usual.

------

Now to finally play some Crackdown Dos.
fuck...I just realized Temp is portraying Mak.
So, forehead shine adversely affects reading comprehension?

CGI ants? I mustn't have made it far enough in to the movie for that.

I think I quit shortly after Shia Lebouf made his first appearance.

Stupid Amazon and not giving me Saturday delivery on my xbox.
Now it gets to sit in the UPS delivery center for 2 days even though I paid for one day shipping. Bullshit.

Call and bitch. They may offer you a credit or something.

What's the allure of the SKS? If I were going to pick-up a cheap Kalashnikov style rifle it would be an MAK-90.
_______________

I'm going to see the A-Team @ 12:30!

A few reasons.

1. They're cheap.
2. They shoot cheap ammo (ok, it's the same ammo as other AKs, but whatever).
3. Bayonette
4. More accurate than any other AK style gun (except the sniper designated rifles of course)
5. Mak-90s are ok, but those thumbhole stocks are terrible and if you're going with something like that, you might as well get an AK.

There's something very old school about the SKS that I like. I have enough modern rifles anyway.

I named my silenced Uzi class "SNAKE PLISSKEN".

I want to write a letter to John Carpenter and tell him to return to greatness by making a serious Escape from New York sequel, entitled "Escape from Detroit".

Yes, but most MAk-90s are also 7.62X39 and the pistol grip kits are dirt cheap as is the MAK which runs about $40 or so vs the SKS. IME (albeit limited with SKSs) SKSs were pretty low quality vs AKs / MAKs.

I can see the appeal of the standard rifle style stock, and it does have it's vintage / combat history. IDK, I guess I'm biased and have just never liked them.

Whatttttttt? I've never seen a Mak 90 Retail for under $500. At least, not one that you'd want to actually fire. A decent SKS can be had for around $200 with high quality Russians at $400. I've seen Mak 90s hit the $1000+ range.

The SKS is comparable in quality to the AK-47, especially when you're talking about Eastern European variants. The Chinese SKS is kinda shitty, but still about on par with your average AK.

Check out the Maks on gunbroker.

I'd be interested to know where you're getting them for $40 over the SKS.
