I'll also offer some that Rocko hasn't played yet:
Crush and Exit are great games for puzzle platformer fans. Ridge Racer and Wipeout Pure are good racing games, but I'd probably give Burnout Legends the highest recommendation since it's basically Burnout 3 in the palm of your hand. Loco Roco's a good, unique platformer that's on sale somewhat often. For action, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops is great for MGS fans, Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror's fun, but the online sucks and the AI's not any better than a typical action movie. If you're also into Metal Gear Solid, the Digital Graphic Novels are great to have, though the MGS2 DGN isn't out just yet. Lumines and Gunpey are great puzzle games, because while being similar, they play so differently. I'll give the nod for strange games to WTF, which is like if Wario Ware were set-up to be more like a job and not just a series of random mini-games that you play in short bursts of time. Sports games are fine for the most part, but I'd say Hot Shots Golf and Virtua Tennis are the best right now, though I'd love to see Hot Shots Tennis come to the PSP. If you're into old school games, check out Ultimate Ghosts 'N Goblins, as while it's still hard, it's not nearly as unforgiveable as the original.
I've got Exit, can't wait to try that. Same with Loco Roco. WTF looks fun, but I played a demo of Hot PXL, which looks ever better than WTF. I also have Virtua Tennis World Tour, but I just don't get it. It seems all the tournaments require a high rank, but the only way to get rank is to be in Tournaments... so I can't get into any tournaments. :/
