Gay. The only movie theater in AZ that does this is in Surprise. Phoenix is our capital and I thought for sure they'd have one.
Surprise is... a town in Bum

Egypt. Bizarre.
Anyway, anyone see any movie cash deals on this? I am definitely seeing it, so I might as well get some free or heavily discounted Blu-Rays out of it.
If it's any consolation, the theater by my house isn't listed on the D-BOX site, and from the last time I talked with the theater management, they were thinking of canning it because they weren't making any money on the system. So, it might be gone, since it's not listing anything for D-BOX on the theater's website.
WTF is this and why have I never heard of it before?
D-BOX is motion controlled seating with a subwoofer in the seat. The seat moves in motion with the movie, giving some immersion feeling to what's going on on-screen. Plus, they're about 50% bigger seats than the "normal" ones, as they put 10 D-BOX seats in a row that normally has 15 "normal" seats. Any movie with a lot of action seems to work well with it, from the ones I've seen.
Movies they've had in it (and I think this was all of them):
2012 - initial movie they had with it
Sherlock Holmes - saw it
From Paris With Love
Nightmare On Elm Street remake
Clash of The Titans remake
Prince Of Persia - saw it
Inception - saw it
So. Sooooo. Jealous.
May not have any reason to be, if my theater did can it.

Tron Legacy is listed as another D-BOX title, though as they're not listing Expendables with D-BOX ticketing, they may have killed it after Inception.
