Decided to Check out the same flea market today and got:

Sega Genesis model 2 w/ 1 controller, AC cable, and 2 games (Aladdin and Mortal Kombat) but no AV cable for $10 (just bought the AV cable on amazon for $5.40)

Nintendo brand N64 expansion pack $10

Yesterday I hit the two local flea markets. Found the following:
Nintendo brand N64 Expansion Pak - $5
Final Fantasy VII with the original case and manual, scratched up but working - $5

I got most of this stuff from a giant flea market Saturday. I don't normally go to this one so it was a bit of an adventure in itself. First booth my girlfriend and I walk up to I got this lot for $20. Had him down to $15 but then he pulled out a bag of Genesis and 7800 games. Picked up a few extra game for the extra $5.

games: Crack'ed, Dig Dug sealed, Donkey Kong Junior, Food Fight, Karateka, Robotron 2084, and Ms. Pac Man

Odyssey 2 in box with everything. haven't tested yet. Sadly no games.

Oh man, what a start. My standards were set high. Sadly not to many booths after had great bargains like this. Everything else after this we had to hunt high and low at the tables and only every table out of 20 had some gaming stuff. Did I mention there were a lot of people set up?

Got all three of these games for a $1!

Sonic (I have so many of theses...), Bill Umber's Combat Basketball, and the gem of the lot The Krion Conquest

PSOv2 $3, Ecco $2, Sonic Shuffle $4, Mega Man $5, Tails' Adventure $2

Evila $1 but the packaging is all water damaged so I will most likely open it, a Sonic happy meal toy (not sure from which game or cartoon), and an army of Goombas @ $0.50 a piece. Also not pictured is the Mario 3 tanooki Mario spring toy also for $0.50

As we were walking back to the car we pass a guy packing up for the day. We look in his packed van and see this trash can. He says he will cut a deal if we buy it on the condition we have to take whatever was in it. He must have read our reaction because he followed up with, "all the stuff in there is Pac Man related." For $10 my girlfriend got the giant Pac Man trash can, a Pac Man gumball machine, and a Pac Man strategy guide amazon.com . Most likely don't sell at that price but we may throw ours up there to recoup our spending.

Despite the heat and walking forever this was a good outing. Also got me some Heroscape!

My brother got one of those PacMan gumball machines for his 8th birthday! Cool find!

Also, it appears everyone is finding Odyssey 2 consoles this weekend.

Well happy to report the Sega Genesis I got last week works (just got the AV cable today) but for some weird reason if I just press the power button the screen will go black but nothing will happen(except some text that will sometimes show up for about 2 seconds) but if I hold in the power button for like 5-10 seconds as its starting up it works fine. Nevertheless going to start hunting for Genesis games now

The TB PX21 headset I got last week for $8 has working audio but the mic is busted. Oh well, still got my Sharkoon.

Got a Roland TR 606 Drumatix for 3 bucks. Sold it for 365. I have no need for audio equipment to be honest and I have no idea how to use the damn thing either. Best find I ever had. Besides the Philips Pronto Pro remote I found which controlled EVERYTHING.

I don't think anyone knows how to use those pieces of shit.

Proud user of Alesis SR-16 for 20 years lol.

Picked up Twisted Metal II, IIII, 4, Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey, and some Jackie Chan Stuntmaster game (all PS1) for two bucks at the flea market today. Figured why the fuck not.

For the first time in God knows how long, I had a notable flea market find. It was a sealed 1998 Tomb Raider figure of Lara Croft in her Tomb Raider II wetsuit. The box is faded on the top from being out in the sun, but the figure itself and the rest of the box are in excellent shape. The people running the stand had $10 on it. I asked if they would do $5 and they countered with $6.

Mediocre day today, lots of games I was interested in but all were priced too high like ps1 and ps2 games were all $5 and some guy wanted $3 for random cheap Sega Genesis games but did manage to pick up:

Sonic the Hedgehog (complete in box, game looks like its never been played)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (complete in box, game look like its never been played)
Sonic & Knuckles (cartridge only, missing cover)
$12 for all 3
3 dollars is as cheap as it gets at most flea markets
Yeah but I mean some people are selling games worth $1 or less for $3-5 like I wanted to pick up a few SOCOM games for the PS2 I picked up a few weeks back and people wanted $5 each even one guy who just had the disks in sleeves wanted $5 and lowest they would go was $4. Some people are ridiculous around here. Hell some guy wanted $100 for the old Xbox 360 driving wheel/pedals

To be fair, the old Xbox 360 wheel goes for about that online. Two just sold on eBay yesterday at $97 and $100, both with all pieces.

Very nice find! One question though. They only had this one game? If so how do they only have this rare game in such great shape but have nothing else to sell?

He had a complte NES Action Set for $50 with the red gun and Teris 2 boxed and complete also for $5.

I bought Duck Tales 2 on clearance from a rental store when I was a kid and it was my only NES game for a while. Wouldn't surprise me if someone only had this one game. It's not exactly something most people would know or assume is rare.
Amazing find. Ducktales 2 is worth a pretty penny, especially complete.
I didnt know much about the game but had recalled seeing that some of those late NES games were rare so i looked it up and saw that it was worht a few bucks and my heart started pounding. I then asked the guy how much he wanted for the games and thought that maybe he knew what he had but when he said $5 I was like Damn! So pulled out the $5, grabbed the game and took off.

That's how I was when I saw a NES top loader behind a beat up NES hoping the guy didn't know what it was worth, first asked about the beat up normal NES wanted like $20 and wanted $75 for the top loader. Too bad

Really? Nice.

My friend gave me his a while back. He said he got it at Best Buy for $35 as a display model so no box. But then he moved to NYC so he has no room for it.

LOUSY day. Went to Wolff's Flea Market in Palatine IL. They have another one in Roselle which is supposed to be much better but was closed today. I hope they're better because this place was crap.

Saw games at exactly five booths:

One had two N64 games. 1080 and WCW Mayhem for $2 each. Meh. Another had a TON, everything you could imagine, 3DO games, Turbografx games, SNES games, everything. But insanely terribly organized and all over the floor. Plus, prices were HIGHER than eBay. No good deals to be had.

Another had a bunch of NES games and the one good deal I saw! An N64 with expansion pack, 2 controllers and 4 games (all sports but who cares) for $10! I grabbed and went to pay and he says it isn't his but his neighbors and he can't sell it today because they aren't there. I remark that its with his stuff and clearly priced, I'm not trying to haggle. He says no, he needs to make sure with his neighbor... I asked how much for the (common) NES games. 5 each.

Then I found a guy with a few crappy PS1 games for 5 each. Pass.

Now my stupid mistake which makes it worse. There's one other retailer gith absurd prices. N64 sports games for $20 each. Insane. But she has some $5 PS1 games. I grabbed three, one of which was marked 10 and I offer 10 for the three. She counters with 15 and I counter with 12, she wouldn't meet me and so I passed. The games were Metal Gear Solid (marked 10), Croc 2 and the one I'm kicking myself over, Silent Hill black label complete! That one marked 5. I should have at least done $5 on Silent Hill, I could have easily gotten 20 or 25 for that... I can't believe I passed. I completely forgot what it goes for. My bad and it makes my crappy day all the worse.

I picked all this junk up for $7. Unfortunately all the Genesis games on the bottom row are empty, but I have been wanting empty boxes for my loose games. What is up with people keeping sports games, no matter for what console, in really great shape??

Yeah that Bill Clinton memoir is still sealed ;)

at first I thought that was an Elvis UMD. lol.

And the main reason why I picked up this lot.

My girlfriend got all this for $6

This was the funniest pick up, also for $6 for both, considering I just picked up a Pacman tv dinner tray/table last week at a thrift store

Imagine eating breakfast on this as a kid!

I know exactly who you're talking about!
The guy who runs it can be a jerk, his prices are outrageous, and he charges sales tax on everything!

I actually live right up the road from the Palatine market and was out there selling last weekend. :)
I've gotten a handful of decent games there over the last 2 years but it's really a crap-shoot in the warmer months, as most vendors opt to sell at the outdoor market in Rosemont.

Speaking of Rosemont, I had plans to head out there this morning with my Dad but ironically enough today was the one day it wasn't open due to a stadium event. :(

Maybe they come from collectors? I don't think game collectors aren't allowed to like sports games. I know i have a bunch of baseball and football games.
Maybe they come from collectors? I don't think game collectors aren't allowed to like sports games. I know i have a bunch of baseball and football games.
I don't like sports games!

Out of the 2000+ games I own, I'd say less than 30 of them are sports-related (unless you lump in racing games).
The only sports games I've ever really enjoyed are the Mutant League games, "wacky" sports games like NBA Jam, and most of the Mario/Nintendo sports games (Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, etc.).

However, I do have a few random Genesis Football games.
I think I got them as part of a Lot of other games I wanted and since they're effectively worthless I just hung onto them - which I'm sure is the case for a lot of other collectors.

Here are my pick ups from this weekend:

Halo 2 (Xbox)
Spider Man 2 (Xbox)
Spec Ops: Stealth Patrol (PS1)
Driver (PS1)
Some GameShark PS1 disk
$1 for the lot, only Halo 2 came with a case and they all work (not sure about the GameShark disk havent tried it)

SOCOM US Navy Seals (PS2) $4
SOCOM US Navy Seals 2 (PS2) $4 -not pictured
PS2 official 8mb memory card (new/sealed) $5
Sonic Spinball (Sega Genesis) $2
Alien 3 (Sega Genesis) $3

And not gaming related:

Picked up a military first aid box from a life raft complete with sealed (from 1989 though) supplies including surgical scissors, tweezers, gauze scissors, bandage wrap (camouflaged), gauze, and bandages for $5. I thought it was pretty cool

The Good Will stores in my area give a 20% off coupon for donating that is valid at every store in the region. I keep all the sports games I get in lots in a box in my car. Every time I go, donate a game, add to the stack of 20% coupons.

Had a few okay pickups from a couple of weeks ago:

$15 - PSOne with controller/mem card - More than I would normally want to spend on this but it was in beautiful condition and I have been wanting one for a while
$2 - :xbox: Amped 2
$5 - Slingplayer A/V - No power cord, but I had one at home. Works perfect. Find of the day.

Went to the local flee market for the first time today. Picked up:

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest SNES
Bust-a-move SNES
Gradius III SNES
Battletoads NES
Barts vs Space Mutant NES
Blaster Master NES
for $20 total.

At a used book store, picked up PS2 Network Adapter for $6 (originally wanted $10). I think I still overpaid on this one.

Couldn't find any decent games at the local flea market (Garden Drive-In), but picked up Ninja Scroll The Series Ultimate Edition DVD set for $15 and the Tom Savini version of Night of the Living Dead for $2. The Ninja Scroll Box was a little scratched, but the four DVDs were mint.
