How many copies of a game can I trade in?
​You are allowed to trade in 4 copies of the same game (same system) within a rolling 30 day period.
 
What do I need to trade in an older console?
The console, power cable, av cable, and controller. Sometimes they don't care about USB charge cable but ymmv. 3DS XL trade would be console, charger, and stylus. Some have reported being charged a refurb fee for missing the stylus, but again ymmv (answer stolen from anarchyburger)

Does the Pro Membership B2G1 coupon apply to only games, or accessories as well?
The coupon applies to both games and accessories, per the wording on the coupon.
 
I have a $XX.xx pre-owned reward certificate, and I want to use it on a B2G1 transaction. Should I?
It depends. If the three games are equal value, do not use your certificate. The value of the certificate would be applied to the free game, which would not benefit you. If one game is more expensive, you can use the certificate to make it the same value as the other two games ($5 reward certificate applied to transaction with two $10 games and one $15 game would make all three games $10).
 
 
TERMINOLOGY AND LINGO:
ASL/SL: Assistant Store Leader, Store Leader; manager positions at GS.
B2G1: Buy two, get one free. Typically refers to the coupon you receive when becoming Pro.
GCU/BB: Gamer’s Club Unlocked, Best Buy
GS: GameStop
JD: Junior detective, an employee who is out to get someone
LP: Loss Prevention; this is the department that actually bans accounts after being flagged.
TC/TiC: Trade credit.
TIV/TV: Trade in value, or what a game currently trades for. When posting a TV for a game, always use the base value.

I'm not sure GS is at fault here. Rebate submissions are usually handled by a contracted company, and they'll definitely try to deny your claim if the offer dates don't match. So hold off on purchasing this if you were planning to buy this. The rebate offer is also not valid in Connecticut or Rhode Island.

Anyone tried redeeming an online rewards cert? I keep getting the message "The coupon entered will not provide a discount based on the current contents of your shopping cart. You may continue checkout without a discount or read the coupon description below and make the appropriate changes to your shopping cart or shipping method selected. "

Just trying to use a $10 cert on GOW.

 
My first order email confirmation finally came through.  Took an hour.  Still waiting on my 2nd and 3rd order emails, and waiting for my 3rd order to even appear on my orders list.

In other news, the used games that are part of the BF sale are working with the elite pro 20% discount.  Far Cry Primal for PS4 cost me $9.59. 

 
In for one RDR2 Pro bundle. They might hit a discount in December but I was going to get RDR2 anyway. The extra $50 GC makes me feel a little better.

Yes. Did you redeem one from the digital currency tab? Mine went through just fine. I used a $5 one and it worked on GOW and Nier Automata

Yep. I copied the code and put it into the promo code box. It acknowledges it but doesn't actually take the discount off. Maybe I just need to wait.

 
Sigh. Tried placing an order in the app and through two separate browsers. Got error messages three times. Randomly decided to check my gift card balance and sure enough it has been charged three times. No confirmation emails, no order numbers on the website. Guess I'm going to be spending my Black Friday complaining to customer service.
 
Is the S or E the more reliable 360 model? Both have bad reviews on the site. It’s my understanding the E is slightly newer but they took away VGA output and some USB ports. I’m more concerned about which one is least likely to fail though.

I did it on their app and it worked but i'm not getting my confirmation letter... :\

 
is the lack of confirmation email/order history due to placing an order through the app or is that prevalent on website orders as well?

 
D3 bundle showing up in order history. MK8 bundle order not showing up. Will give it a while before I get worried, especially since it's sold out; not like I can do anything about it now.

I didn't get an e-mail confirmation also. Plus sometime during checkout it logged me out of my account but didn't tell me until after I placed the order and of course it messed up when trying to log back in to tie the order to the account. I did get a PayPal confirmation so there is some hope.
 
I won't be needing this. I got this when I picked no rush shipping.

Was able to cancel my xbox 360 order placed earlier through my order history, waited until after midnight local time to order another one, however it wouldn't let me order the same color (said I had exceeded the order limit). Ordered a different color though just fine and was able to finish the order so my receipt should now show 11/22.  

 
@haruken because the free game is one of the top games for the switch plus the 50 bucks gives you a discount to get the extra controllers for cheap for a full package of good times
 
I figured it out. It looks like you can't have preorders and regular orders in the same transaction. Astrobot is listed as a preorder.

Placed orders 2 times, 1 on the GS app and 1 using my desktop. Both orders have yet to be shown in history. Also I didn't get an e-mail confirmation. Wtf gamestop!

You were "in the hole" for both $80 cash AND 1 OG PS4 after you traded it in. Whatever the value of an OG PS4 is should be included with your loss of $80.

I think it is better to say you paid $125 to upgrade to a PS4 Pro instead of saying you paid $125 for a PS4 Pro. Indeed, paying $125 for a PS4 Pro would be an amazing deal.

That equals -$410, total out of pocket for the PS4 Pro. Actually comes out to more than msrp. Granted yeah he got the chance to use the PS4 for however long, so there's that. You're bound to lose money on trades... but that's why you try and minimize the difference between what you get back TIC wise and what you buy with that TIC. Should have waited til Black Friday to get the deal with the $50 gift card.

Thanks for the replies everyone, I knew I was overlooking something. (Didn't minus $250 when I bought the new bundle.) If anyone cares, re-did it below, used spoilers to save some space.
-400(og ps4 bundle, tax free)
+70 (sold bundle games)
+250 (og ps4 tc)
-340 (ps4 pro rdr2 -80certs +6%tax)
+45 (340-250=90; using a $1cash to $2 gs tc ratio, 90/2=45)
=$375 total for a rdr2 PS4 pro (or $45 to upgrade)

If I didn't use the 80 GS certs, it would've been
-400(og ps4 bundle, tax free)
+70 (sold bundle games)
+250 (og ps4 tc)
-424 (rdr2 pro bundle+tax)
+87 (424-250=174...174/2= 87)
= $431 (or 101 to upgrade)
Also, yes I definitely should've waited since BF was just around the corner, but I got caught up in the RDR2 hype and thought the pro bundle was going to sellout. Since I already opened it, my store would shoot down a return/rebuy. I used point certs as well, so that'd mean calling CS trying to get them back, which took forever last time I tried.

On a more on topic note, ordered GoW for my buddy. One less gift to worry about.
