This may have already been answered, but what do people do with GBC games that are too big?
Use an exacto-knife/razor-blade to cut out the bottom.

Well I haven't done it yet, but here's how I understand it.

Picture this as a diagram as the plastic that holds the GBA game in place.
Pictured here: |__|

You want to cut out the bottom (the part that sticks out), highlighted in red: |__|

Then you put the GBC cart in upside down, so that the 2 plastic sides hold it in place.
$200 will get you close to 250 cases.
not really, 80 cents for a case and $1 to print out each cover x 60 gba games and 60 gb/gbc games....my printer hasnt worked in ages and even if i did i doubt it would be cheaper to print them at home rather than taking them to a print shop...what i need to do is find a place that will do like 60 pages for 20-30 bucks...

are there places online that print PDF's?

Ok, i am retarted. I have photoshop open right now and whenever i go to print the image it tells me clipping will occur.
can some please tell me how to print this off with good clarity and no clipping.

thanks.

I also want to know. I'm hoping a way to work without buying 8"x14" paper. The prints are 10.8X inches and legal paper is 11".

There's a thread about it in the Snackbar forums. Basically, there are three ways, IIRC.

1) Tape a short piece of paper to the back of regular paper, thereby 'making' it 8x14 inches. When you print, your printer will print all the way to the edge of the front page, and hopefully won't print anything on the added-on piece. Sometimes the added thickness of the taped on page smears the ink, though, so be careful.

2) Tell your printer there's legal size paper in the tray, then print on regular letter paper. This works better if your printer can print very small margins. It gives some printers problems, though.

3) Use a border-less printing printer.

That's all I know off-hand. Otherwise you could just buy the legal paper, print these at Kinkos, or print on two pages and tape them together after printing.

As for the requests made in this thread, I can probably take care of them. I keep up with the Snackbar GBA Case forum more frequently, though, so requests made in there are usually taken care of more rapidly.

Anyway, good luck printing.

my 2 requests are Space Channel 5 (i was shocked you guys didnt have this) and X2: Wolverene's revenge.
I did Space Channel 5 a few days ago, and it is now posted.

I finished X2: Wolverine's Revenge just now, so expect to see it posted at SnackBar within a day or so.

Here's the thumbnail, in case your interested:

Request: Famicom Mini 24 Kid Icarus (Palthena's Mirror)

Side Note: Anyone have any of the famicom mini games? I just got this today and the packaging is super sweet. The box is so small but it looks awesome. It's clear plastic with a smaller box inside displayed which has the game inside it. Really cool. Oh and by the way KID ICARUS ROCKS!

KirbyKollector on Snackbar has already posted a bunch of Famicom Mini covers, unfortunately Kid Icarus is not one of them.

I posted the Gameboy1 version of Kid Icarus not too long ago, though..

However, it looks like it would be quite easy to mod a NES/GB Kid Icarus cover to look like one of the already-posted Fam. Mini covers. I'll give a shot.

I hate this project! Now I'm addicted in buying bare GBA cartridges because I can still make the collection look nice..... argh :)

BTW, is there a way to redo the box art for Phantasy Star Collection? That one didn't come out so great.

Unless you or anyone else can provide a scan of the box, we're only left with the option of piecing it together with what we have. That is, not much.

I might be able to make another alt cover, though, but making it any more resolute is an impossibility without someone sending in scans of the box.

Yes, please oh please do. If it's a good case scan, you'd be doing us a bigger favor than you realize.

The only others I need are:

Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure
Superman: Apokolis

Awesome!!! Thanks for Pitfall. I wasn't sure where to upload so I posted my Kid Icarus up on imageshack. I opted to go with an english spine so I can read it on my shelf. Obvious thanks to KirbyKollector for the original template. Here it is:

I must say thank you for all these amazing covers. Here are some pics of my now good looking GBA collection. I have about 3 to add but this is the majority.

I think Breath of Fire II and Wario Land 4 are off-sized. They're defaulted to 9.3 inches in length as oppose to 10.87. Just a heads up so you ppl will need to resize them before printing to save ink.

You're right - they're set at 350 dpi instead of 300 dpi. I'll PM snowcone about it, and he'll fix it.

BTW, you've got quite the impressive collection, Jkam. Looks good :applause:

Just fillin' you in on what KirbyKollector from SnackBar had to say:
Also, to the one attempting to make Famicom Mini covers:

Use http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n08/fmk/index.html to get the materials for the cover. This is where I get all the Japanese text and spine text. I know, I totally forgot about the Famicom Mini project, and I may pick it back up soon. I'm just saying that the Kid Icarus one there now would look too different amongst other Famicom Minis.

If you guys want to pull that Kid Icarus it is ok by me...or maybe you can label it alternate or something. I wanted to do something that worked for my collection. I'm not intrested in having the Japanese text on the spine. The front was taken from the actual box though. Hope all is cool.

This is the coolest shit ever. i don't have a huge collection of GBA games, but doing this makes me want to get more.

Is there anyone who could possibly get a LOZ: Oracle of Seasons American Version and Wario Land 3? I don't know how hard it will to come by these, but hopefully someone can.

and, is there anyplace to get manuals for old GBC games?

thanks in advance.

The American OOS is on my to-do list.

either im minorly retarded, or there is no way to fit a original GB game into a DS case?

lol

what is the point of the cases then?

Takes about 5 minutes with an exacto knife.
yep... you just have to mangle the case beyond recognition... woo hoo!
I wouldn't call that 'mangled'.

Here, I have Metroid II and Metal Gear Solid cased in my collection:
