It's not like that though, I'd look at it as "I hate faceless corporations that fuck over consumers, like Walmart. That's why I don't shop there. I'd also group Microsoft with them, and that's why I don't give them money for their games I play."

It's a fuck the man/ fuck the man situation, not a fuck the man/fuck the little guy one.
Agreed. fuck the man. So you paypaled the developers the money they deserve, right?

anyone play sacred 2 and know what would prevent me from putting the skill "Battle Stance" on my skill bar? trying to drag it over like a regular skill and every slot turns red.

I really understand nothing about the game, so I have no idea why its not letting me.

Thanks Brak.

I feel like I should get really wasted before I go....Third deployment..

The best thing is that when I get back I'll have a huge backlog of games ;)
Twhy support a company that distributes what are basically disposable products instead of going somewhere else, paying a little more, and having a reliable/long-lasting product?
This is true when shopping walmart for generic goods (clothes immediately come to mind) but for food shopping and other brand name goods, I don't think it's true -- sure, the walmart brand clothes or furniture may be less reliable/long-lasting and that's a direct reflection of cutting quality to lower cost. But the I buy there is the same that I'd get from Target/Hannaford/Stop & Shop/Price Chopper/etc. and it costs me $1.50 less, I have no problem with it

I don't deebo games to fuck The Man, but st0neface hit the nail on the head with why Wal-Mart is one of the many scourges of our economy.

I'm sure the sea-faring OTTers would be happy to burn extra copies of games for you while you're gone to see that you don't even have to worry about procuring said backlog when you get back. Just let us know. :)

I don't pirate my 360 games. I was just explaining one possible perspective. I don't oppose it though, I'm pretty indifferent towards it, seeing as I download other forms of media.
And why does Depp look exactly like Elijah Wood?
That's what I thought.

Why can't it be A.M. Alice directed by Tim Burton. Their aesthetics are so similar, the comparison is unavoidable- why not just do it that way. I guess it Burton's ego.

The traditional tale has been freshened with a blast of girl power, courtesy of writer Linda Woolverton (Beauty and the Beast). Alice, 17, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty society types. Off she runs, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited 10 years before yet doesn't remember.

So is this a sequel? Because didn't L.C. write at least two of those?
Or is this Tim Burton doing whatever the fuck he wants to do? (Like shitting all over Dahl)

Burton needs to take it down a notch with casting his wife and Depp in everything he does.

I guess I haven't experienced these products. I mainly purchase grocery items and toiletries there. What sort of products are you referring to? It's not as if Wal-Mart manufactures their own products, for the most part.

I agree with most of this. I buy most of my cereal at Wal-mart, because it's so much cheaper. My shampoo is cheaper there, and it's the same brand I would buy elsewhere. I would never buy an electronics item there unless it was significantly cheaper, though, because for big items, I'd much rather shop somewhere like Amazon.

Yep.

Do you think Helena Bonham Carter is hot, Brak?

Appliances, clothes, furniture, tools, lawn equipment. All inferior quality to basically all competitors. Those people with tight budgets purchase these items there to save a few bucks, and end up having said item shit out on them and require replacement, costing more in the long run, thus fucking over the little guy.

This is a pretty good read, I may have even read it here first.

That Wal-Mart documentary... I can't remember the name -- Whatever it is, it was pretty good.

High Cost of Low Prices, or something.

i'm on a (illegal) spree trying to stock up on movies and shows.....recommend me some good ones....So far I've obtained:
old stuff: Ghostbusters 1 and 2 (after playing the game I want to watch them again)
Star Wars Holiday Special (cause I never saw this PoS and want to laugh at it)
Transformers 1986 Movie

newer stuff:
Star Wars Clone Wars Entire series....
Family Guy the newest season..
Transformers 2
Observe and Report
The Hangover
Valkyrie
Terminator 4
Angels and Demons

What I'd like is some more shows cause they are quick and easy.
I've got like a 30 hour flight so I could really use some more stuff to keep me entertained. Also suggestions on games that could play on netbooks would be cool.
I just need more stuff to fill the 120Gig harddrive it came with.

I don't know what you have seen, but I would suggest these shows:

Arrested Development
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Flight of the Conchords

i'll try those out, always heard of them jsut never watched them.....

Fighting games should not have Lost Odyssey amount of text dialogue before each fight.........

How do I use this VGA port on my laptop? I hooked up a wire from it to my TV, right clicked on my Desktop, went to settings and don't see anything coming up. I also checked the Inputs on my TV and nothing came up. I have a Dell Vostro 1400 if that helps.

It's on Netflix Instant Watch too.

Delusional voices #1 and #2 flatout told me that I'm crazy. Sad shit when voices from my brain that you have no control over call you crazy.

about 5 hours ago from web

You just got the game and you're already cheating? Dude. #-o

I swapped Chinatown Wars for this game and the instruction manual is so ghetto. sorta crooked and blurry as hell on cheap paper.

Whoa, dude, don't judge me based off of me cheating, that's not cool!

It's just the encounter rate is kinda high and EXP is kinda low. :whistle2:S

Good luck, Wolve!

I remember when Budge told me that story about his brother at Mr. Anderson's.
Those were fun times.
