That was my favorite.

You missed the good parts, Budge. Mr. Anderson and I had some drinks, but you were off sharing a 12 oz Budweiser with your friends.

Wait, darthbudge and his brother shared a spliff?

Good luck, Wolve. I hope you come back safe and sound.

You should stockpile all five seasons of the best television program ever, The Wire. You won't regret it.

It's kind of hard to articulate. They moved him out of intensive care tonight and into a regular room in pediactrics so we are really grateful at the progress that has been made but he still has problems with his speech because of the trauma and he's going to need physical therapy before he can walk unassisted. He can move his arms and legs but he's too fragile to walk. It's heartbreaking to see him frustrated because he just doesn't have the control over his mind/body that he's used to. His short term memory is also a problem area right now. We're also concerned with his mental well-being, as we don't want this to happen again, but we're not liking what the hospital psychologist is suggesting. Hopefully some family friends can come through and help us with that.

Again, thanks for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers, I can't express how grateful I am for that.

Sorry to hear that Jimbo, but its sounds like he should be fine after a while.
...
Anyone have Scene It Box Office Smash? Just picked it up today at Tar jay.

1 left but one of the flaps was open. Looked like someone might have taken something out so I left it there. Sorry.
...
Finished NFS Underground and Christina Milian trying to act with a Mexican accent is hilarious.

Good luck, Wolve

I hope everything turns out ok with your brother, Jimbo. Keep us updated.

Everyone else, convince me not to start playing WoW again :[

Thanks, guys. We are tremendously optimistic about the recovery but at the same time we realize that there is still a lot of difficult work to be done.

Hey, TheRock88, one of the segments on one of the NPR shows I listen to was about the controversy regarding the naming of the "Little Saigon" area in San Jose. Were you/your parents upset over what happened?

I don't think WoW is all that addicting. I mean, I've played it instead of my consoles lately, but the idea of skipping out of any kind of social activity and playing WoW instead has never crossed my mind.

Well, some people are just nuts, I suppose. I feel like, if you've got a guy who dropped out of college because he played WoW, he probably wouldn't have been a star student if WoW never came along.

Any progress is good, man. :)

I'm glad things are looking better, and hopefully he'll be tip top before too long.

This.

I wish my friend wouldn't have wasted the last 3 years of her life... :whistle2:|
She quit her job in Dec and hasn't looked for a new one since. I am almost positive it's because of this.. :(

Show was awesome...I was kinda bummed at first because the setup was horrible. Stage in center, crowds of people on the sides. Turns out they were passing out colored wristbands...black got you into the center (pit)...before the show started some dude went to the back where we were and started passing out some black wristbands...I went from being here:

I just gave Trakan the most historic, jaw dropping, awe inspiring asskickings/comebacks in the history of videogames/all time.

It was glorious.

And, instead of being grateful to have witnessed such an event, he's being a sore loser.

Sad, man. Very sad.

Jimbo, that's awesome about your brother. Hope he fully recovers from everything.
********

I leave for Washington tomorrow. I really hate that trip.

Hm. DJ Hero got recognized by those E3 critics' awards as best social/casual/puzzle over Rock Band Beatles and Scribblenauts (which won other awards). Maybe there's hope.
