Have you read that long rant by one of those guys? I still don't get it.
Yeah, computer monitors are 16:10, I think. TVs are 16:9. There was an update to xbox a while back that allowed 16:10 support.
You don't get it cause you haven't been following the scene close enough I guess.
This is what is happening in the scene:
Iriez, who started the team that made the FW is basically calling it quits. When a new Liteon version was introduced it seemed nobody could retrieve the key in order to

it, instead they were able to do a simple alternative method, send the results to a website called foundmy. The guy behind foundmy asked for $42 and would give you the CFW in order to

your system. Turns out the guy behind it was c4eva, Ixtreme FW creator. Since the whole scene didn't like having to pay for FW, a group of people worked together to figure out how foundmy was able to do this and when they figured it out they posted their results online, which resulted in MS doing yet another drive revision. Since then this new one has been figured out as well and stupidly enough results on how they did this were posted online as well in order to prevent people like c4eva who preferred to go to a chip and make money through the chinese. Now a new drive revision is once again imminent and bypasses to extract original FW are getting harder and harder to find. The scene is somewhat split right now because of money, and more and more work needing to be put into the DVD drives in order to exploit them. Since this is the case right now it is assumed in some circles that LT may be delayed until all this is resolved or at least until these last fixes have been made.
