The Howard Stern Thread

I just listened to the Benicio Del Toro interview. I was pissed because its the first interview in a long time that I really wanted to hear given that Benicio is one of my all time favorite actors. But Robin was being her usual overly noisy self, stepping all over the questions and Benicios answers. And even worse was Artie .. I guess being hyped up for having off so long and feeling a need to put on a show out of guilt .. he was just talking non stop and completely hijacked the interview. Benicio barely got a word in edge-wise.
 
I was just going over the Daniel Carver roast and when Romant?sp? Harris? was up doing his thing and he did a joke that completely BOMBED and it was followed by Yuko honking his horn...while that wouldnt have really been funny, what totally sealed that as something that makes me cry from laughing when I hear it is that Yucko didnt do the quick honk honk, but he slowed it down and that kills me everytime.
 
Del Toro wasn't saying anything, at all... that interview was his fault. and usually I would be all over Robin and Artie.
 
I don't know what it is but, I can't get enough of Sal and Richard when they go in to talk to Howard. Plus, I got my Artie Tickets ready for his Ruth Eckerd Hall Show in Florida. :D
 
I was just listening to the show where Richard cries to Metallica's "One". That guy is such a psycho. :lol:

The Artie/Gary blow up episode is three away. I can't wait to hear it. Things were already bubbling under the surface earlier in the episode I'm listening to with Gary yelling at Artie for not cleaning his spilled punch. I understand it was a dick move by Artie but Gary was being a real bitch about it. He wouldn't let it go.
 
I really want to hear the tape of when Sal got hired honestly. I will admit, the show is weird now that Howard is so super rich and says it every show annoys me for some reason. But hell I still listen.
 
Haven't heard anything about sirius' financial situation but, theoretically, do you think if they went bankrupt Howard would go back to regular radio? Or just retire?
He can't seem to stay quiet but he does seem sick of doing it.
 
He has said it a dozen times he would never go back to Testicle Radio. I don't think he would either if Sirius did have a major financial problem. But Bubba went back to Testicle Radio and he is still on Sirius, correct?
 
Yeah he always says he'd never go back but I wonder. He seems OCD when it comes to being on the radio. They were talking today about how Opie and Anthony got fired. Pretty funny. I used to like those guys back when they were on WAAF here in Boston. But haven't listened to them since. Must have been at least 10 years ago.

I laughed out loud at work today (probably being disruptive) thanks to the absolute depravity of the lyrics in one of Robin's songs ...

I don't normally laugh at stuff like that but it just caught me off guard. Plus I was picturing Robin, a very classy/professional lady, sitting there listening to this filth while waiting to talk about Robert Gates or the economy or something to that effect. :lol:

EDIT: Also, I have to say, Steve Langford is the best addition to the show in recent years. He stirs up all sorts of shit, he's not afraid of anyone, and he's absolutely tenacious.

If anyone has the 5-15-06 show...bought 26 mins in, give or take, Howard starts talking about the prank call Richard does to one of the public access shows. Some fat old guy trying to be a scientist etc etc.

Usually when people call into the show and say "OMG LULZ that was so funny I had to pull over" etc etc....

The third call into that show Richard makes, he starts to tell the guy "OMG Im gonna "come""...the way he says it is so f'n convincing as if he was really sitting there rubbing one out...I was in tears from laughing so hard at that.

I dont have Sirius anymore so Ive got my zune loaded up with every show from 06 minus specials etc etc...

Thats the call Im talking about..he starts off cussing him out, calling him a dumb f' etc and peanut stuff on his lips...then the next call he's looping them telling each other hello and the next call is the one where he's gonna blow his load...then Tracy gets in on the mix.
 
I must say the tradio phony phone calls have to be my favorite of all time, the one where the guy calls in and says he lost a beret and then richard calls and says he lost a box of fuck books makes me laugh uncontrolably evey time
 
also if someone could reccomend me a good older (pre 09) show to download preferably one without any interviews, iove when they just shoot the shit for 4 hours.
