Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

Oh right. They are releasing their bundles so fast I can't keep track.

So the Gala points only go to the buyer of the happy hour pack, yes? And they still haven't announced what those points can be used on, no?

Looking for a spot in a group buy, please PM me if you're hosting one. I will edit this post if I get into one.

You are correct on both counts. Though honestly, I'd be stunned if the gala points turned out to be in any way useful.

Hmm, so the additional unlocks don't happen with a gift, and I can't upgrade it cause I didn't buy it. Correct? If that's true then it's much better to be the hoster, than the hostee.

Additional thought: Thanks to The End for hosting on this one, that was the quickest transaction I've ever done. Feedback left.

right... you don't get gala points for gift purchases and you can't upgrade a $1 gift to the minimum for all games. However, if your gift is already at the minimum then you're fine.

lol somebody on NeoGAF posted the other day that the steam summer sale went live for a few minutes by accident and he saw all the deals (he was kidding of course). One of the highlights that he posted was Bad Rats GOTY edition for $45.00.

I nearly spit up a lung laughing.

I would buy it if it included more varieties of cats to murder. I hate cats, but tire of murdering the same one over and over.

I actually played Bad Rats yesterday. Figured I could rid it of my backlog and such... bad idea. It's unenjoyable in the no joy or fun way. Just a boring game and it gave me little satisfaction. I mean, you'd think microwaving a cat would be satisfying but it's just not after trying to position a floating rat to float up and point in the right way and hope it hits the ball at the right time and not against the ceiling...ughhh..

And whats up with the text to speech voice acting...

Did you seriously install it? I have a second steam account that I use to redeem keys of games that I get from bundles that I'm not quite sure about. I play them on that account, and if they seem alright, I redeem a key for them on my main account (I usually buy two copies of most bundles). I couldn't even bring myself to put Bad Rats on my secondary account. And I don't give a crap about that account.

It is installed and forever part of my steam account baby! I'm like 5 puzzles in. I think 20 and 40 unlock some cheevos! And if I sold like 2 puzzles with just one rat that's another cheevo! Imagine like crazy machines but just with rats and minus no fun. They did put a lot of into the cat deaths though. Chainsaws, bombs, fires, etc. Rib cages and guts flying everywhere. It's like Itchy and Scratchy.

Anyway, testing out a new sig. If you don't want me to use it, just let me know and I'll remove it.

You have my permission to use it. I think the world would be better with less cats. And I do think it more than mere coincidence that serial killers always start out with cats. They start their life with purpose but go wrong somewhere.
SO if I pay the min and gift it I can give out another 3 gifts? kinda confused on how the happy hour works haha
You need to pay lets say $1 during the first week to get the early buyer's reward, with that reward when you buy a gift while paying more than the average during a happy hour you'll get 4 complete bundle gift copies.

Still have one copy left for $1.90, ended buying 2 4-packs x_x
SO if I pay the min and gift it I can give out another 3 gifts? kinda confused on how the happy hour works haha
How Happy Hour works.

In order to get 4 for the price of 1, you first must have bought a bundle previously. It must have been bought in the first week. Since this is still the first week though, you can buy one now. I recommend buying the lowest tier for $1. That will still be enough to allow you to buy the 4-pack. It will even let you buy the full beat the average bundles (meaning that you get everything).

Once you have bought a bundle for a buck (assuming that you haven't already bought one) you need to pay enough to beat the average (assuming that you care about getting the full bundle) and you need to make sure that you check the box that says "Is it a gift?". This part is VERY IMPORTANT. If you leave that box unchecked, you're screwed and you don't get the extra bundles. You also need to make sure that you send the bundles to the same email address that you sent the first bundle to (the one that you bought for a buck).

If you've followed these steps, you should see links to the extra bundles in your download page. That's the link that they email after you buy. Click Indie Gala 6 in your download page and it will show you the links.

P.S. Man, we really need to start a new thread for the next bundle. This is the 3rd time that I've explained this.

Yes.
SO if I pay the min and gift it I can give out another 3 gifts? kinda confused on how the happy hour works haha
If you bought in the first week, any gift you make during happy hour is multiplied by four. Anyone who bought in the first week can pay however much they want, then check the gift box further down the page and get four gift links in their profile after checkout. I enjoy being engaged in anything fast-paced; I did maybe 50 of these for fellow CAGs before passing the proverbial torch. MFAH hooked me up this time. :D

Do we know what the next Steam game is?

Not yet, but I would guess that it'll be something from one of the developers involved with this bundle.

bitComposer Games
 • Air Conflicts: Secret Wars
 • Cargo! The Quest for Gravity
 • Ion Assault
 • Ninja Blade (This appeared in IG5)
 • The Void

Digital Game Factory
 • Commandos games

I bet it's Horrid Henry.
I bet it's Horrid Henry.
I wouldn't put that past them lol, but my bet is that it'll be Dark Sector. Although Indie Gala did say that the game is very "unique", I'm not sure if Dark Sector is unique enough..

If they make Ninja Blade (Steam) then I will buy the whole pack again and sell/give away my gift pack I bought because I wrote them last time I would have bought it if they had it on steam. Nothing against DRM-Free but most of those games I have I forget about.
I have one spot free and one reserved spot but no payment yet. $1.88 for a bundle spot.
Hm, doesn't sound like we really have that many choices, if it's a game made by the same developers.

Guys if you are on Listia, I have this bundles with a GIN of 2500:

Cargo! + The Void + Air Conflicts + Ion Assault
Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines + Men of Courage + Destination Berlin + Beyond the Call of Duty

I dont want to spam the links, so just search for them on listia, send me a message that you're from CAG and I will change the GIN to 2000 ;D But be quick because if somebody bids I cant change it.

Cheers.
