Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.
I've set up a thread in the trading forum. aus_nacht, you are more than welcome to post in there if you'd like. Blade, I stole some information from the OP just regarding the contents of the pack with a link back to this thread. I couldn't bring myself to steal any of the sexy formatting you brought :D
Maybe I'm just kinda dumb, but I don't see that thread. Was in on this forum? http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=76

I had been thinking that we should create a new thread on the trading forum specifically for bundle group buys. I know that there is already a thread for steam trading/selling, but I never really liked the idea of doing a group buy in that thread. There's far too much other crap going on over there in that thread and the group buys would end up getting lost.

what's throwing you, is that the threads arw wiki editable, and they change the title to match the current bundle, so when it says "Mobile" that wasn't what you were specifically looking for.

I put the link in the OP as soon as he made the thread. It's all highlighted in bold and a different color and whatnot. ;)

Okay so For Dummies version is we use the mobile group buy thread but not yet because the new bundle is not out yet, so basically hold our horses?

Actually, it occoured to me to look in the OP, but then I thought that Mink-e probably ddin't put it in there. So I just went over to the trading thread to look for it. I was looking for a thread created by Mink-e. I'm not sure how I missed it, but I didn't see it there. After aus-nacht linked me to it, I was able to find it no problem. I was even able to find it on the topic listing on that forum. I can't explain it. *shrugs*

By the way, I'd been meaning to complement you on the job that you did on the OP. You really did a nice job with that. Much better than I would have done.
Okay so For Dummies version is we use the mobile group buy thread but not yet because the new bundle is not out yet, so basically hold our horses?
What we need is a thread that encompasses all of the indie bundles (except humble because I'm not sure if that's still forbidden). That thread should probably also have a wiki so people can update it as new bundles come out. It would be a continuing thread just like the steam trading thread, but it would specifically deal with group buys for indie bundles.

I agree completely. I pretty much created the mobile bundle thread as a stopgap until something more permanent could be put in place. A wiki makes the most sense.

BTW I PMed a mod in that trade forum asking about helping us create a master trade/group buy thread for bundles and asking what was and wasn't allowed, but I have yet to receive a response.

Thanks fox.

By the way, plft posted this over on the steam thread. I'm sure most people have seen it already, but I just thought it should be posted here as well. Credit to Pinkgun for putting the clickable links in there.
So the Indiegala 7 html source has these games listed in it.

Death To Spies: Moment of Truth
Theatre of War 2: Africa 1943
King's Bounty Armored Princess

UFO Afterlight
Reign: Conflict of Nations
Space Rangers

Is everyone else having trouble purchasing? It won't let me change the custom price or show the breakdown of how the purchase price is split.

I plan on buying 20 because that's the last pricepoint you get an added discount at. If happy hour started now it'd be $1 a copy, but as the BTA goes up so does the price.
Looks like I own all of them and have yet to install... any of them.
Hm. I have all of these I have any interest in: Theater of War 2, KB: AP, Space Rangers, Reign. This might be worth a grab if you're interested in the KB series and haven't snagged any of them on Steam yet. I haven't read anything good about the Death to Spies games.

I think I'll end up jumping on board a gift bundle with Genocidal this time around unless people think we'll really need someone else to host group buys.

School me on this stuff, first live indie anyways, as long as i beat the BTA when i buy i get the extra's or i have to have it beaten when they come out? Also how's happy hour work?

It will also be my first indie and have a bit of confusion on some details. I understand it has 2 tiers, first tier any amount and second tier right now at $5.51. I also understand the Happy Hours thing. What I dont understand is what is the average (in the Pay What You Want section) to get the bonus. Is it the suggested minimum or the cost of second tier?
Thanks for any replies.

EDIT: Got the bundle. Scrolled down the page and it listed the average as what I thought was the second tier.

I have updated the OP with information about Indie Gala 7.

I tried to purchase earlier, but the checkout was Borked, and now the price has risen.

When the time comes, I'd love a slot in one of your Happy Hour slots, Genocidal.

We get upcoming BTA bonuses through gift bundles, right?
how long after it starts can there be a happy hour?
I don't think anyone knows that for sure, even Indie Gala. Doesn't seem like there's a set amount of time from past experience but it does seem like the closer they get to the end the more frequently they do them.

Happy Hours usually start a few days after the bundle launches (usually around 4-5), but the duration is short when they first start out, and get much longer as time goes on.

The quick and dirty answer to maximize your stuff in bundles is (and correct me if I'm wrong here) is to buy early for a buck or so, wait for happy hour, get the full bundle as a gift for over the minimum.

Im interested in grabbing a gift bundle during Happy Hour as well. :) If we are allowed to buy two, I would take another as well for a friend who would probably enjoy these games.

looks like a 1c bundle? I know I have a bunch of those over on GamersGate from their rediculously cheap 1c pack, but might be fun to get some on steam as well. so if anyone else has that bundle, might be worth a check if you don't want to double dip.

And death to spies, hard but rewarding. The controls seemed to be odd when at default, but were easily enough modified iirc.

Nice, good job with the links! I had thought about adding them. Yes, you'll get the future unlocks on your gift page as they're revealed. I'll be in on one of these BTA group buys when it happens as well, even though I own one game and should really be paying a fair price for the rest. Isn't it sad that we're this cheap?

So it looks like there will be two additional games added to this bundle. I would guess that they will also be 1C games. Any guesses on what they will be?

Oh and I just bought a bundle. I guess I'll be hosting a group buy again when they go live. Hopefully Fox hears back from a mod and we can get that thread up & running before the first Happy Hour.

EDIT: Never mind. I forgot that we probably know what the two extra games are thanks to the accidental leak yesterday. Theatre of War 2: Africa 1943 & Star Wolves will almost certainly be the other two games. The only thing left to determine is what tier each game will be in.

Nobody knows for sure. They kinda spring it on us unannounced. Usually a couple of days after the bundle launches. The earliest that I can recall them doing it (at least on purpose) was 36 hours into the bundle. I would expect that they'll hold off at least 2 or 3 days on this one since there are a couple of high profile titles in this one.

Well I bought in at $1 now and will be doing that which is unspoken in this thread when happy hour comes up. Check the Indie Gala Mobile group buy thread if you would like to partake in that which is unspoken in this thread when happy hour comes up.

I'm kinda confused too. So I just bought this at a price beating average as a gift. So this is the first week the bundle went live, therefore during happy hour am I suppose to receive 3 additional copies?

No. You would have to beat the average again and buy another gift at the BTA then. So you will like be paying 12 bucks for 5 total BTA bundles. Still not bad.
How much does the BTA start out at anyway?
5.99 usually, but it goes up during happy hour.

Thanks for the reply, so I kinda jumped the gun and bought it too soon (sorry such a newb)? Wouldn't the prices be up by the time Happy Hour kicks in therefore I need to pay in total x amout which will make x>$12?

Still a good price for all those games.

The best way to do it is to buy it the first week at the cheapest price ($1) and then buy a BTA gift during happy hour. Then you will have 4 gifts with all the games. You can keep one and then give out the other three. You can also buy multiple gifts and get them all multiplied if you need more copies.

The BTA average price might go up a little, but usually not too much.

So even if you only pay a buck at the beginning, you can still get full BTA gift packs during Happy Hour? I learned something very important today...

Yes. I learned it the hard way too.

So the first bundle you buy (for $1) is not BTA.

But during happy hour you BTA with a gift and you get 4 BTA bundles. So usually you just split the initial $1 cost amongst the 4 BTA gifts.

So it would be $1 + $5.99/4 - around $1.75 a bundle.

The sexy OP is all nice and friendly and will answer all of your Happy Hour/group buy questions. Check there first, and if it doesn't answer your question, ask and we'll add in the answer if we know it. We always enjoy making it more concise and complete.

Selling indie bundles aren't allowed, but group buys are ok? I think I messed this up a bit, but whenever happy hour I think I will have 3-4 BTA copies at ~$2.40 per copy. Probably be a bit higher then what anyone else will have it for though. Make a post of this again during happy hour.
I tried to explain the Happy Hour situation as clear and concise as I could in the OP. Anything in red is pretty crucial to HH and gifting. Yes, you have to buy again during HH to get gift links.
Thanks, It makes perfect sense. Originally, I wasn't sure if I had to repurchase it again or not.

Woohoo! With this bundle I hit exactly 200 games on Steam! I didn't redeem my Armored Princess key because I have Platinum from an Amazon sale. Because I'll hold off redeeming the bonus games for a while :)

So I'm kind of doubtful, but does anyone know if there is a way to finagle non-Steam Crossworlds over to of Steam Armored Princess?

Only selling Humble Bundles are prohibited. And mods are deleting group buy posts I this thread. When happy hour hits someone will make a group but thread in the trading forum and it'll all be good.
