Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

For anyone that missed IG9 or just wants these keys. They are for steam, just please post if you take one. Enjoy.
There's a somewhat outdated explanation in the OP, which I haven't updated over the past few bundles because I'm lazy (I'll get to it if someone doesn't do it before me). Basically, you buy a BTA bundle now, then you wait for a Happy Hour and buy another BTA, making sure you click "Is it a gift?" and use the same e-mail address you used before. You'll get four copies to sell to other CAGs. An addendum to that is that you can buy multiple gift bundles of 10/15/20 at a discounted rate at the bottom of the page for an even lower cost per person. So buy now and wait for a Happy Hour to happen, and it happens randomly.
Okay, thanks for the info. I bought a BTA bundle anyway so I'll see if I can help out a CAG or two. :)

Sniped codes are used : /

In general, this bundle seems to offer older games in the paradox collection that might not be selling all that well anymore. Thinking along those lines, I have a few possible options for the final game.

Pride of Nations
Supreme Ruler: Cold War
Pirates of Black Cove

Possibly even
Crusader Kings Complete

A couple of these have some DLC. They might be looking for an upsale with the DLC if the base game is in a bundle (kinda like how they're probably hoping that we buy the DLC for Majesty 2).
lol Fox, you're the #1 gifter now :applause:
:) It won't last. I have a meager amount compared to the guy that will come around with 200+
So nobody plays Lead and Gold anymore, eh?
Unfortunately, no. Last time I was on there was one game. It's a cool little game. Maybe we can get some CAGs playing.

Its one of the few games in the bundle I'll be installing off the bat. Played it a little bit on ps3, but not very extensively. Almost seems like a third person western version of Team Fortress

The most I ever played it was during the winter event and when it first game out with like the 13 pack deal. Haven't really touched it since. Too lopsided imo.

I'd be down. love 3rd person shooters

OK, just paid $11.90 during Happy Hour so I could get 2 sets of 4 BTA gift bundles, checked my profile and I only got two gifts instead of eight, anyone else having this issue?

Were you an early buyer? Meaning did you beat the average in the first week?

I didn't buy BTA with the first bundle, but I did buy one. I've never needed to buy a BTA Bundle early in the past...did they change it?

Yes.

As was announced on their page and discussed on this and other threads.

Yeah, it was on the page and discussed here. Hard to see because on the main IG page you have to click on the Info button and it explains that to be an early buyer now you have to beat the average the first week, not just buy a $1 bundle.

Looks like you were the chosen sacrifice.

Not only did I miss the happy hour due to a convention, but I didn't BTA in the first week. Shit! All I wanted was two full bundles for cheap... *cue tiniest violin*

How long does it take to receive the email? I bought it like an hour ago and no games/keys..did the resend keys link and it sent a link to profile, but it comes up blank

I think they must be having "technical difficulties". I got an email a couple of hours ago about:

Halloween bundles on Galastore!
Amazing Horror, ghosts and zombie games but not only!
Paywhatyouwant with a minimum, beat the average to get the full bundle for each offer!
ALL THE GAMES ARE AVAILABLE IN FORM OF STEAM KEYS
Halloween bundles are available only for 24 hours!

but the IndieGala Store has been pretty much dead since then.

EDIT: From their Twitter it looks like Google App Engine is down again.

Tell me about it. Was trying to check out the painkiller bundle with no luck for the entire day.

Yeah even Gmail was down a bit earlier.. I did get the email though. My profile has the DRM free games but no Steam keys yet. I'm sure they will get it worked out, I'm in no rush.

The Painkiller deal seemed tempting, but you can get it for the exact same price as part of the Steam Halloween sale. Does anyone want to sell me a Virgil key? It's the only game I don't have from that bundle.

Unless you are simply "collecting", I wouldn't waste any money on that game.
I've owned for more than three years, and still haven't managed to progress more than
a few steps - it's pretty much impossible to play without following a walkthrough.

Eh, I'd still like to get it for a buck. I can't pass up cheap games.
Eh, I'd still like to get it for a buck. I can't pass up cheap games.
It's usually bundled with Obulis, Chains, and Gumboy for $2.49 during the biannual sales. It might be a good idea to wait and buy the bundle in December if you don't have any of those games. Four games for $2.49 is pretty cheap.

Gala store finally loads for me... but the rage of having 10s of 1000s of Gala points with no use leads me to boycott them for the time being. Shame. They actually have a decent deal. Couldn't I just get like a dollar off the bundle for 50,000 gala points?

No wait, I can instead pay $3.99 for one game in the bundle with my gala points. good stuff.

You must be like the Gala Points equivalent of an Oil Baron at this point.

Only problem is, Oil is actually worth something. Gala points...not so much.

Oh, cool. I didn't know about that. I'll definitely hold out for that, especially since I don't own any of the games in that bundle.
