Rahsaan Roland Kirk (if you don't know, find out. The man could play 3 saxes at once) used to hear everyday sounds, for example, an airplane engine or footsteps, and attempt to mimic the sounds through a musical instrument and incorporate it into his music. He was a brilliant dude.

I'd be the ultimate hypocrite if I called you an attention whore for posting on the site because i've probably got double the amount of posts as you do. When you post about stuff, you're not bad, you're actually pretty cool.. but then you start on about how goth you are. If you want to play dress-up and wear makeup and whatnot, by all means, go for it.

And it's not like i'm the only one that's noticed that you go out of your way to brag about how goth you are.

Is this the Xbox demo? and if so, is it Modern Combat or the regular version? If it's MC, I'd definitely go pick it up ASAP.

Yeah, I have no personal problem with Morbid at all. It's just that when he mentions he's goth, I get flashbacks of high school preps and the whole classification bullshit system or something. I didn't mean that to come off as a personal attack and i'm sorry if it did.

But screaming music still sucks ass, no-talent hacks. Actually, the music is usually pretty good.. just the vocals that blow

There are a few songs by them I CANNOT stand, but This Toilet Earth, the whole cd, minus about 3 tracks, is brilliant. I know, the people singing are jackasses, but the music is just awesome. Like Saddam A Go-Go. That song rocks hard.

I haven't had TOO big of a problem with the servers. I tried one night and none would connect, no big deal.. tried again today, they worked fine.

But dammit, this is how XBox Live should be. Even if it's just the demo, I heard "Chopper in bound to base, anyone need a ride?" "Yeah, I do, and drop me off near the mosque, i'm going to try to secure it" "Hey, I need a ride over here at Base 4 as well".. it just.. worked so damn good.

Sweet! I loved the PS2 version, which was damn near flawless online in alpha testing, so I'm not sure why it's messing up on the Xbox. I guess XBL doesn't like it when they use outside servers. :razz:
 
GWAR was on Viva LaBam last night, and it was fucking hilarious. Bams parents were trying to entertain them, while in their full space warrior get up.

And Saddam a Go-Go is the only GWAR song I have that I'd classify as good.

I know what you mean. The first time I played it, I was overwhelmed by how much could happen and was happening. It was nuts and I loved it. Like a dude on my team apologizing for a casuality on our team from an off air strike. Then I drove a jeep into a river because it was going to fast and me and my gunner had to swim away before the damn thing exploded. Just incredible.

I so can't wait for Modern Combat. Probably will get it for PS2 though unless they kept the voice communication as it was in the alpha (hopefully they took the squad system and integrated it.

its probably one of the few games I plan on picking up on release day. Depending on what version I get, I will probably form and head up a clan

Yeah. I was used to the chaos on PC, but it transferred over so well to XBox. It's funny when you're running along and a rocket whizzes by your ear and you hit the deck.. I love it. I also figured out you could put C4 on your vehicle and when it crashes into something/someone, it'll blow up. My favorite thing to do used to be "bowling", where i'd just hop in a jeep on XBL and crash into people. I did this earlier, crashed into a tank and went FLYING because vehicle physics aren't 100% yet.

Of course, as soon as I get super hyped to play it, none of the servers connect.

The artillery strike is INSANE. I was on the mosque balcony and I hear INBOUND ARTILLERY STRIKE!! HIT THE DECK! so I lay down as fast as I can.. then on the road right outside the mosque.. boom, boom, boom, BOOM.. dust and rocks fly up.. and i'm like.. man, and this is an early demo.. I cannot wait to see how this comes off when it's done.. I will definately be prebook/prebuying this.

//edit: I'll probably get it for the 360 as well. What I don't understand.. just put it out on XBox and make it BC with the 360.. but hell, you know they love the double dips.

You should've seen Casey and I with our tank taking people out then I get killed since I'm on top and he's driving. :sad: It was so much fun, too bad that was about it with us working together, though.
 
So I have two PSP games, a USB cord, 25 roms on Nester, a bunch of videos I need to convert, and my PSP hasn't even come in the mail yet. :cry:

That's what I remember too, Beavis and Butthead watching a GWAR video. That really ruined their DVD collections IMO, taking out all the videos. Them ripping on the videos was the best part.
 
God, I am so sick. I think I got heat exhaustion this afternoon. It's been six hours and now's the first time I've felt good enough to sit at my Computer.
