It's a great image but it'd be better if they didn't spell Koloff with one f for both Ivan and Nikita.

well now jeffroi and him can be cellmates.

and there will be a "it isn't what it seems, the media makes it out for more than it is, wait until the facts come out, i suck dick for crack" tweet soon.

god damn, those damn country ass hardys.. jeff hardy on top of his game is actually a bad ass wrestler and I wish that Jeff Hardy would work TNA.
Some unemployed, fat, uneducated north cackalacky hilljack got arrested for DWI?

why is this in the wrestling thread?
Even though I like the Hardys, holy fuckballs did that make me laugh like a fat kid being tickled with a licorice stick. :applause:

The Hardys were phenomenal as a tag team a decade ago, Mattitude-era Matt Hardy was solid, and Jeff Hardy did very well as a singles star.

But they have no sense of shame and their self-righteous attitudes spill over with hubris.

One of them will finally realize this when the other dies in 1-4 years. An absolute shame.

I'd like to think that getting arrested and loosing your job would be a wake up call and convince Matt to get his shit together. He won't, but it would be nice if it did.

It'll be Jeff. The talented one is always the one who dies.

Here's a follow-up to the story about the group complaining about the hypocrisy of the Be a Star program:

Lisa Wright, program director of the national non-profit organization Council for Unity, has issued a retraction and an apology regarding her criticism of the Be a STAR Alliance’s anti-bullying campaign with WWE.

Wright wrote a letter earlier this week criticizing their campaign after receiving an e-mail concerning the numerous “fat jokes” being directed towards performer Vickie Guerrero on television. She asked how the organization’s partnership with WWE fits their mission to show tolerance and respect since professional wrestling consists of name calling and threats culminating in violence. She concluded her letter by requesting the removal of the Council for Unity from the Be a STAR Alliance website’s list of organization affiliates. Wright, however, has since rescinded her request and issued an apology to WWE and the Be a STAR Alliance.

In a letter sent to Diva-Dirt.com, WWE and the Be a STAR Alliance, Wright says she changed her tune on the matter after further research and receiving intelligent feedback from some of the wrestling organization’s loyal fans.

Wright wrote, “After careful consideration and research on my part, plus some intelligent feedback from some of the loyal fans of WWE, I realize that perhaps I reacted too harshly and without enough information. I have been reminded that the important issue is the prevention of bullying and the protection and support of those that have been victimized by it. Ultimately, my own actions, intended or no, have had a negative impact.

She continues, “I hereby offer an apology to the Be a STAR foundation and the WWE. I also wish to rescind my request that my organization be removed from the Be a STAR Alliance website. There are often many ways to reach a goal; the important thing is that we support each other on our journey.”

The entire letter can be read here. She adds that her initial letter was never intended to be made public and that it was never her intention to disparage the Be a STAR Alliance, WWE, their wrestlers and many fans.

Something stinks here.

^ EDIT: uh-huh. something is very, very, very shady there. to go from lambasting a number of organizations to capitulating to all of them is very curious indeed. so something does stink; and I suspect the stink emanates from Pittsburgh and smells of Jerry McDevitt.

That is actually pretty damn sweet. I just finished listening to Colt's new episode with Tracy Smothers. It was good, but I kept feeling like Tracy could say a LOT more if he wanted to.

So we would have missed out on a ton of great Eddie Guerrero matches and not had one of the better heel managers of the past decade?

+1

The fact that he hates Vickie so much as to wish Eddie never wrestled just mean she's got crazy heat on her, which is even better. EXCUSE ME!!!

No way man. "Stand up for WWE" really does work.
How much of a fuck up do you have to be to get FIRED from TNA
I don't know if I should just laugh or point out how much truth there is to this statement.

He's still on their roster as far as I know.

Matt Hardy showed up in Braden Walker shape for TNA and then acted like he was above things like showing up to work on time and putting on competent wrestling matches.

While I know that people like you and I probably think that Jeff should have been shitcanned after showing up fucked out of his gourd for a PPV main event (if only because you shouldn't tolerate a substance abuser on your staff), at least Jeff has an upside.

Either way, the firing of Matt indicates just how TNA views Jeff. The man has so little pull in the company that he couldn't keep his fuck up brother employed, which is a pretty big thing given (like we already talked about) how fucking hard it is to get fired by TNA. TNA apparently doesn't give a shit about pissing off Jeff, which would imply they aren't planning on using him in the near future. Even disregarding company booking, it'd be interesting to see if Jeff would even come back after this, since this company effectively just killed his brother's professional wrestling career.

I mean, it's not like this a guy that holds grudges that hurt his career, right? Oh. Wait.

In the "turning lemons into lemonade" department, this probably means Matt will end up working the card of that south florida indy casino show that Guyver likes to go to.

Bring grapes, dude.

EDIT: That Cabana figure is awesome, cdubb. Very jealous.

Honestly, I doubt either of them give a fuck. They're set for life off that WWE money, and Matt's at least smart enough to have created a little bit of an empire by putting all of their dumb shit on tape and selling it as "The Hardy Show". Neither of them will ever *have* to step foot in a ring again, because Matt has made enough of a side fortune to keep them both set for life. Jeff would be set for life, but like I already said, he'll be the one who dies early, likely Umaga style with a coke binge.

I'll believe it when I (don't) see it. The Hardys don't scream "fiscally responsible" to me.

Exactly.

They certainly have the potential to be financially secure for life they don't exactly show much in the way of responsible decision-making...

Now it will be interesting to see if Jeff asks for a release to show his anger toward them releasing Matt or if he continues to bow down to them. There's really no positive outcome for either of them at this point. As others have said, getting shitcanned from TNA for repeated and blatant substance abuse after burning your bridges at WWE pretty much guarantees the highest you can make it at this point would be RoH (and I'm fairly certain not even they are willing to touch them). Then again, there's always Juggalo Championship Wrestling (or whatever the fuck they call it).
Has TNA released Jeff yet or is he still on on unofficial indeterminate suspension?
Last I read they want Jeff back but only if he goes to rehab which he hasn't agreed to do.

Jeff is the guy whose house burned to the ground and didn't have ANY insurance.

At this point, I fully expect him to blow all of his cash on a fabreshe egg binge in the near future.

According to Pwinsider.com, the original plan for Matt and Jeff Hardy to return to TNA storylines around Bound for Glory this October. Jeff Hardy is still with the company, and TNA will be releasing a DVD on his career this Fall and have also licensed him out for several new products, including children's Halloween costumes. Matt Hardy had been home on suspension from the company. The suspension was said to be due to excessive lateness to events, but some think that it was a cover story due to the video that featured Matt and Jeff Hardy, along with Matt's girlfriend Reby Sky. In the video, they held and tazed Sky.

Be sure to clean that syringe in that Halloween costume if you're going to share it kiddos.

"Recently released WWE talent Harry Smith (a/k/a David Hart Smith), who rarely speaks ill of anyone, is very upset with his former employer. The son of the late "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith stated on his Facebook account on Saturday that after much pleading, WWE did not return all of the Hart family possessions he had lent for their memorabilia display at WrestleMania Axxess. This includes his father's ring gear and ring gear of the late Owen Hart, among other priceless possessions. WWE did, however, send him a framed picture of Mae Young as a goodwill gesture. He is further agitated that WWE would call him two weeks after his dismissal from the organization asking for the items he received back.

"Well I'm not one to bury any companies or people but I'm afraid I have no choice here. The WWE after great difficulty of my begging, finally sent me back "some" but not all of my familie's possessions from the Hall of Fame/Fan axxess. This includes, my dad's ring gear, my ring gear, owen hart's blue blazer masks, and singlet and lots of priceless family possessions. They sent a framed picture of my dad smashed, half the other stuff missing but they threw in a Mae Young framed picture," Smith wrote."

Got this from Neogaf, not sure of the source. Wow if true.

“Until they make radical surgical changes in creative, and unless they get some people who comprehend the wrestling business, they are doomed to be the financial drain on Panda (majority owner Panda Energy) that they are now and have been since inception,” said TNA co-founder Jerry Jarrett. “The core of their problems is the creative development of their product. They have to cut the cancer out.”

Jarrett says he remains puzzled as to how Russo has maintained power in TNA.

“He obviously has qualities that I don’t recognize or understand,” said Jarrett. “How can a person who has a 15-year history of failure still keep a job?”

No matter what the creative makeup might be, Jarrett says, the organization is in desperate need of change.

“Whoever is doing it, their product is unwatchable. My own grandchildren can’t watch it anymore.”

I want to be shocked, but the Harry Smith story sadly does not surprise me. I bet HHH is hanging on to some of those items for the supposed Hall of Fame building that is coming.

WWE teaches me new ways to be a jackass all the time. I need to collect photos of my friend's fathers drinking now. Here is a framed photo of your late father getting trashed.

Apparently, Hardy's gotten into whatever Charlie Sheen was on, which was probably Jeff's stash. From his ghost video (oh good, MATTHEW's back too):

When the side windows glass smashed into my face, arms, & neck, some of the blood that did felt almost angelic. I went from being afraid to die to feeling like I was almost being reborn with some sort of an ABSOLUTE PURE LIFE-FORCE. It was the most amazing thing I've every experience, I felt like I'd just received the blood of an angel flowing inside me-I know this sounds crazy! Due to these, I only have urges to help people. And miraculously, all my vices are gone.

Amen Friends,

MATTHEW

I took a breathalyzer immediately on the spot and it read clean, zero, nothing. Think about peeps! There's more to this story than meets the eye.

Thanks for the positive feedback on the mugg guys, she's done a few more for me which are all linked or shown in the mighty mugg forum on the last couple pages.

Back to Hardy, apparently he also cryptically hinted at a WWE return. Yeah, good luck, that bridge was torched and the ashes were pissed on. Hardy is useless all his youtube videos showed when he was under WWE contract was that he was bored, lazy, and pathetic. Showing an unmasked Mysterio was apparently the straw that broke the camels back with him, and I know he was TRYING to be released by that point, but its just disrespectful on a completely different to pull that kinda shit. Bye Hardy, have fun in oblivion.
For real. In other news, I'm headed back to the WWF myself, too.

Starting to hear rumors of Team Punk (Punk, Cabana, Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli) vs Team Triple H (HHH, Nash, ??? And ???) for Survivor Series.. This would explain the tryout that Hero and Castagnoli received recently and why Nash had to get checked out by doctors to make sure he's ring-ready.
