The most disturbing and WTF movie of the year: The Human Centipede - opens 4/30

I saw the trailer last Saturday and it was kinda hard to wrap my head around the concept of the movie. I give them credit for being original though.

Medical experimentation is a great horror movie premise, but this movie looks so dumb. A sequel is already in the works with a 12-person centipede... :roll:

This looks great; I wonder if from the picture on the wall the doctor used to be a Siamese twin. Since his twin got removed and died his only option for finding that sense of togetherness again is to hook people together...
 
I heard about this a long time ago and didnt think it looked that bad. I will probably give it a watch just to see what the deal is but it doesnt really look like it makes much sense.

Am I the only one that finds is slightly funny?
 
I saw a segment of the movie a while back, but hadn't seen the full trailer until today.
I'll probably wait until it comes out on DVD to see it. It's certainly peaked my curiosity.
 
why cant the guy be doing something more constructive like adding more tits or something? a movie with a chick with 4 or 6 tits would be amazing to watch. he can pick up where total recall left off. the human breastepede.

Trailer made me lawl out loud. I see 4chan finally made a movie. I like the descriptive drawings he had on the wall to showcase exactly what life would be like for these people. :booty:
 
The premise of the movie grew out of the director telling his friends that he thought some crimes should be punished by stitching the person's mouth to a fat trucker's ass.

It seems sort of ridiculous after learning that.
 
This is one of the few times in my life I actually regretted watching a movie trailer.

How many people are going to have the stomach to actually watch this in a theater? And would you even want to be seen in theater watching it? (I'll bet this would make the worst date movie of all time).

I'm really shocked at the buzz this movie has managed to drum up, and also that people are so grossed out by it, it's pretty lame... now.. if they show the middle person throwing up shit out of the side of their mouth or something... then you can all puke.

But the worst thing I ever done - I mixed a pot of fake puke at home and then I went to this movie theater, hid the puke in my jacket, climbed up to the balcony and then, t-t-then, I made a noise like this: hua-hua-hua-huaaaaaaa - and then I dumped it over the side, all over the people in the audience. And then, this was horrible, all the people started getting sick and throwing up all over each other. I never felt so bad in my entire life.

MIGHT HAVE TO TRY THAT.
 
I thought this was getting a wide release like normal , not this theatrical then on demand shit. Only theater playing it here was about an hour away and only one showing at 12 am (?!) and that is that. Don't have comcast so on demand is out, hope that dvd release hits soon.

i was surprised how many places have hq downloads of this movie up already. makes you wonder if its one of those back of the shelf fils they decided to take a chance on so they started advertising or it to see if itd get noticed.
 
I was totally pumped for this when I first heard about it awhile back. I'm a giant horror fan, specifically sick stuff like Inside, Frontiers, Martyrs, High Tension, etc...

That said, I was pretty disappointed by this. It wasn't gross, it wasn't disgusting, it was just your basic horror film. You never really get to see anything. the only part that was mildy disgusting was
when the guy finally had to shit
, but even that wasn't anything bad.

In my opinion, this movie was made for the gross out factor and to make peoples stomachs turn, and on that level it failed.
 
Yea, I was expecting something bad. I watched it today and found it pretty boring. I guess I watch too many japanese flicks.

ive been wanting to see that for years now but i dont think i can handle it. i read that that flick was so graphic they thought some of the killings in it were real.

yeah i just finished it and i have to agree ive seen way worse than that. its basically rape porn mixed with a snuff film and none of it is interesting. guess its one of those films you need to see when it first came out to be shocked by it. oh well at least now i know.

yeah..i can understand how 30 years ago people were like OMFG WTF!??! Nowadays the majority of that movie is ho hum....
 
I have to agree with everyone on this one, found the movie to be tame at best. I think what really hurt it for me was
Alright so he goes through with it, makes them a human centipede........ and then has them act like a dog. Why the fuck didn't he just get a dog?!
Producers had a good idea but didn't know what to do with it or apparently how to make it gory.
 
I only watched the OP's trailer but I can't believe this movie is going to be in theaters. I've seen a few strange violent films from Japan but that is some fucked up stuff. The whole concept just freaks me out and makes me wanna puke! I just hope I don't have to see commercials on TV for this, I want to forget I ever knew about it.
