Found these on CL just don't know if i should bite on both of them.

NES + 2 controllers + 9 games:
Super Mario
Millipede
Duck Hunt
Jeopardy
Tecmo Bowl
Othello
F1 Racing
Nascar
Tetris

The guy wanted $60, i offered $40 and he said he would take $50. The games aren't that great though.

SNES Carts:
> Lufia & the fortress of Doom
> Secret of Mana
> Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtules

He's asking $50 for all 3??

Hell no to both. $40 already is really pushing it with that first one, because the quality of games is awful, let's be honest. Besides Tetris, Super Mario and Tecmo Bowl, there's nothing compelling in that lot, and even those three are cheap and beyond common.

For the SNES carts, TMNT (assuming it's TMNT4, the arcade game or whatever), drags it down, basically, you're paying $20 a piece for Lufia and Secret of Mana, and $10 for TMNT, so overall it's a push at best. i'd pay no more than $30 for these three total and only if I really needed 1 of the 2 high quality games. But since I already have all three, the only reason I would buy these is to resell and paying even $10 per game on those is just too much relative to the potential profit.

He wants $10.

Ya i totally agree, my CL is full of overpriced ads it pisses me off. But forget those because i was just in my garage going through some boxes and found my old SNES and my 10 games! no discolor and it works perfectly! Just finished playing some Super Mario Kart and Super Mario All Stars! today has been a good day  (sorry about OT)

@kube - I'd get that NGage lot. The system goes for $20-50 on ebay, maybe more if you bundle it with the games.

@barbblerelf - Snatch those N64 games quick man, there is a lot of crap, but DK64, Yoshi's Story, and MK64 will get you $40 or so for those alone.

I know that would. I actually have them all from when I was growing up. I would buy them if it wasn't 30 miles away.

I emailed the seller about the NGage I'm not so certain I'm going to get the Saturn though, I mean if I offer $50 w/o the tv, maybe I can get it, I'm not certain if I want to hassle with keeping it or selling it or what...

They changed the ad too

Now says

Nokia NGAGE it appears to be in demo mode and needs flashed!?

So does that mean it's a busted piece of hardware?

Gonna get this if the guy responds back, it was posted yesterday. How much can I sell one of these for?
I sold one that I bought for $10 on craigslist, for $75 cash, on craigslist as well. Was a silver original DS just like that one too!

And lilchubz, please tell me you jumped on that huge bundle for $115. Definitely worth it with all the systems and games you're getting, even if there are a bunch of crap games. Just flip/sell what you don't want...

Finally found the right place to post this. Here are some recent finds:
Guy list 60gb ps3 for $375 which pique my interest. I click on the post and see that it includes 3 controllers, 3 games (GTA4, Obliion, Resist) and he says that he no longer needs his ps2 games and the person who buys can have their pick of them (choice titles included gow I and II, warriors, FFXII, Shadow of the Collosus, silent hill 2, FFXII and 20 additional. I immediately contact and get his number and call. I tell him I can be there in 30 minutes. He says he needs to get to work but we can do something the next day. I ask him to remove from cl and consider it sold. I meet up with him with him the next morning, 1 controllers a bit roughed up and he says another doesn't work so well so well. He also says he has some PS1 games if I'm interested in taking. He produces 2 complete FFVII's, a FFVIII and a FF Anthology that he just gies me, along with Spore PC. I hem and haw about the controllers and tell him I'd gie him $340 which he accepts. I bring the 2 broken controllers and trash ps2 games to gamespot for $130credit, sell my 40gb ps3 the next day for $300 and am finally enjoying my ps2 games on a ps3.

Recently I went to buy some $5 PS2 games from craigslist (http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/ele/1076678495.html). Had some nice gems like Baulder's Gate 1 and 2, GoW I and II, Okami, Champions of Norath, Champions: return to Arms, Silent Hill 4, Shadow of Collosus, Midway Games (I wanted), The Warriors. Not a bad haul for $45 if it was just that. I asked why he was getting rid of and he said no longer wants to play games. I go check out the other ps2 games he listed to just make sure there isn't anything I miss. On the top shelf there are 26 ps1 games. I ask if he's interested in selling and he's like ok, I ask how much and he replies what do I think they are worth. I scan quickly and see Silent Hill so I said since he's asking $5 for PS2 I would offer $2 each for ps1. I didn't want to be choosy so I pick them all up and we settle on $85 for the PS1 and PS2 games. All are complete and minty mint. Here are the valuable ps1 games:

Clock Tower, Oddworld: Abe's Odysee, Oddworld: Abe's Exodus, Dino Crisis, Parasite Eve, Fear Effect, Resident Evil Survivor, Silent Hill, Resident Evil Directors, Metal Gear Solid, Bushido Blade, Bushido Blade 2

I would average $2.75-3/game, $5-10 for the system, and that's only b/c of the value of the original Contra. $50 MAX, probably $35-40 honestly.

Probably about $50 - he says "lots more rare" but - honestly, other than Gaiden and Super C, what's actually there if he doesn't feel the need to mention it!

He most likely won't give, he's looking for an eBay price.

Man, I'd love to have this.

I guarantee ya if you just do some yard sale hunting you will find a perfectly working NES for under 20 dollars.

No need to pay $60 $130 to some crackhead on craigslist

yeah the fucker was like no less than 100, and I was like that is way too much. He was expecting to get 20-30 for his "rare" games.

Whatever. I have a NES and I love it. Works great too. always looking for more games though

I need the full list of games. From what's pictured, sure it's a lot of quality titles, but thus far I wouldn't give more than $50 or $60 for it all based on the description and the pictures, and that's only if I was actually looking to add a good chunk of those games to my collection. For resale, no way would I pay more than a buck or so per game and a few bucks for the system.

I don't give much weight to the Nintendo system, since I don't need any more of those damn front loaders and they rarely sell for more than $25-35 for the complete original system around here or ebay, if even that. The games are what's important, in this case, those look generally a bit beat up, and only 17 games are pictured/listed (sure, the quality is very high, but I doubt he has a lot more "rare" games as he comments, since if he did he would have definitely pictured them...there's no reason not to).

You need to get the full list before an accurate estimate can be made, and a good bid can be thrown out. But as it stands, $50 at best.

EDIT: looks like you did the right thing. Forget the highballing clown.

No.

Wii Fit has NEVER been worth the resell. I bought one when it came out, sold it on eBay for $140.00 with free shipping. Shipping cost $25.00 (it weighs a shit ton and doesn't fit in a flat rate box), eBay fees are 15% which is another $21.00 and Paypal fees are around 2.6% (~$3.50). If they are still going for $140.00, you'll make a whopping $10.00 of profit. If they're going for less, you'll come out in the hole.

Did a lowball on a minilot of DVD boxsets-- for six bucks a piece, I got Spongebob Season 1 (for my girlfriend who loves the show) Simpsons season 7, Scrubs season 1, season 2, and season 3. Pretty happy, especially about Scrubs which I've started to watch and like.

Need some help pricing this: He originally is asking the below prices but said $230 total which I think is a bit too much. What do you think? I've seen pictures and everything looks good (ie no gamestop stickers and complete), if not the bundle what's worth buying and for how much:

8 Nintendo Wii Games. Basically brand new. Package contains Super Monkey Ball Banana Blits, Okami, Excite Truck, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Tiger Woods Pga tour 08, Sonic Riders Zero Gravity, and Elibits, Wii Sports. $50

Two Game Boy Advanced and two games. Contains Pro BMX, Tetris 2. $10

Two Playstation Two’s/ 23 Games/ 2 Memory Cards/ 4 Controllers/ Guitar Hero Guitar. Contains Tetris Worlds, Madden 06, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06, Resident Evil Outbreak, Call of Duty 3, 007 Nightfire, Need For Speed Most Wanted, Golden Eye Rogue Agent, Sonic Mega Collection, OO7 From Russia With Love With Sean Connery, SSX Tricky, Tekken Tag Tounament, Socom US Navy Seals, Simpsons Road Rage, Disneys Pixar Cars, Onimishu 3, The Sega Genisis Collection, Gauntlet Dark Legacy, Street, Tetris Worlds again, Enter the Matrix, Grand Theft Auto 3, and Guitar Hero 2. $100

A Nintendo Gamecube/ 13 games/ 2 Memory Cards/ 4 Controllers. Contains Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Golf Toadstools tour, Tetris Worlds, Super Monkey Ball two, SSX Tricky, SSX 3, ESPN International Winter Sports 2002, MVP Baseball 2004, Tiger Woods Pga Tour 2004, 007 Everything or Nothing, 007 NIghtfire, Resident Zero, James 007 in Agent Under Fire. $70

An X-Box/ 3 Games/ 3 Contollers. Contains Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005, Crismon Skies High Road To Revenge, and Halo 2. $30

copypasta:

Sega Master System with 1 controller, light phaser, ac adaptor, rf switch and 10 games. Games are: Miracle Warrior, Action Fighter, Pro Wrestling, Great Football, Monopoly, Zillion, After Burner, Choperlifter, Great Baseball, Missle Defense 3-D ($50)

Sega Saturn can also plays Genesis games comes with 1 Controller, ac adaptor, and rf switch ($40)

Panasonic 3DO Comes with 2 Controllers, AC adaptor, has RCA outputs and Star Control 2 game ($60)

I offered $100 for all 3, I'll see if they accept. I already have a Master System but not all of those games, so I'd probably re-sell it with my duplicate Outrun and their Pro Wrestling and Missle Defense 3-d since I already have those (and have the 3-d glasses and light phaser) I have a couple Saturn games and a 3do football game, so something to play them on would be nice.

Another good craigslist bundle I typically find is searching for "Leapster". Alot of parents will sell the kids bundle for $40-$60 which probably includes the unit ($7-25 depending on color, pink high in demand), games ($10-$16 even if loose) and you might get lucky and get the battery charger ($25-$35). What I normally do is strip the leapster of all its goodies, like the blue screen protector for the rectangular unit (which sells for $15-$17 on its own)and sell piece by piece.

If that's true, that'd be a one of a kind item. More likely, though, looks like the seller has no idea what the cart slot on the system is for.
No.

Yeah, that's why CL was the way to go when WiiFit only sold for $ 140 on Ebay. I just don't get those seller, but probably they sold a truckload to make it worth.

I sold about 60 of those on CL, making $ 15 - $25 profit per piece, which I'm pretty happy since that's the only way to cashing out from BBV-GS flip before the Vanilla Visa show up.

Ugh, that's a lot of sucky games. I say buy the Wii games only, since you can resell Wii Sports for most of that $50 you'll drop, and resell the rest for a little more (keep Okami).

Maybe pick up the Gameboy Advance bundle for $10, if the 2 Gameboy Advances are in good shape...it would be much better if one or both were SP's though. The Playstation 2, Gamecube, and XBox bundles, meh. I wouldn't buy them if I was just intending to resell/flip them, because the game selection is awful. And there's just too much crap to justify buying them for my personal collection.

Sure, you could make a little bit of profit on reselling all that, but not enough in my opinion to justify the time and energy to do so.

Surprise, surprise... Everyone has been pinging him about the Wii games. I told him wife didn't want me to spend so much on games so can I just pick up the Wii stuff and GBA and he was like sure since we've been going back and forth on the whole lot anyway. Anything else worth cherry picking from the other bundles for a few bucks when I'm there?

anything in here worth getting to re-sell to make up costs or no?
Nothing jumps out at me that screams buy me. Could probably resell and make a small profit but would be lots of work on some pretty common stuff. I always like it when I know I can sell a game or two in a lot to repay for the whole thing, those are lots worth buying. Plus, I alwasy get hesitent when I see modded stuff since if this person knows about mods they probably know how to price their stuff and no real deals to be found.
