Would a working Xbox with 2 controllers for $10 be worth it?
I'd probably buy it for cost and shipping if you're willing to pick it up for me. =D

I am selling 6 Nintendo Gamecube games, see the list below.

make me an offer for the entire lot.

If you are interested please email me.
Games:
------------------------------------

1080 Avalanche
F-Zero GX
Metriod Prime
Resident Evil
Resident Evil: Zero
Sonic Mega Collection
the title said 10 each do you think $45 is too low of an offer to make?

$45 is way too high to pay for that gamecube lot. RE zero has taken a nosedive in the past month and worth $10-12 at best, RE maybe $20-22, Sonic $5-8, 1080/Metroid Prime/F-Zero less than $5 after fees and all that. Honestly I wouldn't pay more than $20-25 for that and if that was optimal condition like I was picking something up right next door.

Craigslist is almost more addictive than CAG

http://toronto.en.craigslist.ca/bra/tag/1182866601.html
Sony Playstation original, 2 controllers (one with dual shock), 2 memroy cards and many games (WWF Warzone, Final Fantasy VII, NBA Live 2001 and more)
might be worth it for FFVII alone

http://toronto.en.craigslist.ca/tor/tag/1182940584.html
Ps2 working perfectly fine.
Comes with
- Online Adapter
- 1 wireless and 1 wired controller
-10+ games (email me if you want to be specific)
-1 8mb Memory Card
Price is Negotiable: It's a first generation PS2 (fat one)

I got my first deal off craigslist in several months last night. It helps when you spot an ad 5 minutes after it's posted though. I got Uncharted and Call of Duty 4 (GotY edition) for PS3 for $30 total. I was looking to replace the Uncharted I sold, so this worked out just fine.

if you have alot of time on your hands and some kind of internet surfing capable device that can browse craigslist like an iphone, ipod touch, or laptop of some sort, download an RSS reader and you'll see ads 15 minutes before they hit the site

roughly 10-15 minutes before the public sees it

I bought a "broken" Wii (includes everything but wii sports) today for $70. The guy said it doesn't read disks. Well, I don't know if that's true, because when I hook it up to my TV there's no picture or sound. It might be the system needs repairs or maybe it just needs a new video cable. I get the feeling he just didn't really give a damn and wanted to get rid of the thing.

Assuming I can't get it working on my own, it's $75 to get it serviced by Nintendo which is still an ok deal.

Not on craigslist but I think it deserves mentioning.

Traded 1 used anime DVD for a brand new sealed black label version of digimon world 3.

Are you sure he didn't try to install a modchip and failed?
Are you sure he didn't try to install a modchip and failed?
I'm definitely not sure of that, no. Is this a known issue with trying to do that? Because when I was looking for solutions on google it seemed like it just happens to a decent amount of regular users.

How much should I offer for the following?

1 Nintendo 64 + 4 Original Controllers (2 gray, 1 black, and 1 orange)
Games:
Mario Tennis
Mario Party ?
Golden Eye 007
Super Mario 64

Thanks..

Game Cube, 2 Controllers, Memory Card, 2 resident evil games and 1 zelda promo game disc
The two RE games are Zero and REmake and the Zelda is the four classic games on one disc.

All for $30, I offered $20 she said no. Should I take it for $30?

Isn't the zelda collection pretty rare still? Looking at ebay, maybe not as rare as it once was but still averages about $20... I bet you could sell it for $20-$30 (if you already have it that is). I think it's a pretty decent deal myself.

YAY!!! My first time finding somewhat of a deal in a looong time and the seller proceeds to sell two of the four games I wanted.

Someone in my area had up:

Dino Crisis
Spyro
Metal Gear Solid
Breath Of Fire III

$3 EACH

So, I immediately said I'll take all four, with the intention of telling them I might not want Dino Crisis once I met them.

So, I get an email back today from them saying they SOLD MGS and BOF3.

I shot back an email saying I REALLY wanted all of them, though I admitted that I might not have wanted Dino Crisis all that much.

Out of the four, only MGS was complete they said.

UPDATE on this deal: Apparently a fellow CAG picked up Metal Gear Solid and BOF3 and both were in deplorable shape(really scratched), so I'm kind of glad I didn't grab them.

i got an xbox 360, premium package around jan 09 for 80 bucks free shipping lol i made up a story to some guy on craisglist saying it was for my dad's birthday lol in the end, he haden't contacted me in a while, and when I sent him a message to see what was going on, he apologized for not contacting me sooner and gave dropped his price of 100 to 80 lol he said he bought them in bulk from china lol wouldnt they be PAL then ? my system is ntsc lol so im thinking it may have fell from a truck or someones house window!

all i know is that i got the whole package for 80... what sucks is that i asked him months later if he had another for me, and he said he went out of business lol selling them for 80 im not surprised lol but then i got ANOTHER steal on ebay... bought a xbox 360, in the title desc it said "drive wont open"...when i got it, i cleaned the rubber band from inside the drive, and the xbox is in full WORKING CONDITION! how much did i pay?? 37 bucks, console only lol :) thank god for ebay auctions and biddings hah
i found a guy selling conker's bad fur day for n64 for $5 but communication has suddenly ceased
That happens pretty often. It seems like most craigslist sellers either

-check their email once every 3 days at the most
-ignore people who want to give them money
-sell their listings quickly, but don't take them down afterward

About that Wii I got for $70, I did some more research and found that the problem is the bluetooth module. Rather than paying nintendo for the repair I just bought a replacement part from DealExtreme, so when I'm done fixing it I'll have gotten a wii for ~$86 (plus, I couldn't resist DE's price for component cables). Woo!

Yeah that always seems the case for me too. The thing is, I posted a want ad for N64 games, and he emailed me and told me what I had. I emailed him (twice now) telling him I'd take Conker, and he hasn't replied.

That's a real kicker happens to me alot too. Maybe the people look at the stuff and have second thoughts about selling it or something

Currently trying to make a deal for...

Xbox 360 w/ HDMI cable, Wall plug & 20 GB Hard Drive - $60
Final Fantasy VII and VIII both black label mint with a PS1 system, 2 controllers and hookups - $75

Really hoping I'll be able to snag these soon.

So, can anyone tell me about the PSP? Someone is selling one on Craigslist for $40. Doesn't say the model and it doesn't come with a charger. Are chargers expensive? Would it be worth purchasing? I probably wouldn't keep it, but I feel that it might be a decent flip on eBay or maybe to trade here. Any info would be great, thanks all.

Super cheap charger that will work with any model number. Combine the two and you've got a decent flip on your hands...or you could keep it.

Dealextreme is a really great site, the only thing is the shipping can take a while.
Here is a big haul from today. First the NES with games and the atari games.

I bought a NES and games for $12 of craigs lists. But when I got there the lady had a whole bunch of atari games in box.

- NES with 2 controllers, all connections.

GAMES

- Dodgeball (in box complete)
- Tetris (In Box w/instructions)
-Tetris 2
-Loopz
-Pyramid
-Pinball (In Box with Instructions)
-Championship Pool
-Rad Racer
-Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt
-Hatris
-Othello

Then she through in the atari games for free, all are in-box, most are complete, one even has a comic book. A bunch of these say 100+ games included. So I don't know if they are knockoffs or what.

- Breakout
- Space Invaders (112 Video Games)
- Space Raiders with comic book
- Space Raiders Video Touch pad
- Dark Cavern
- Atlantis
-Combat
- Towering Inferno
- Defender
- Space Attack
- Video Olympics

Then I stopped at the local thrift and got these for $3 total:
- Wrestlemania
- Bionic Commando
- Eliminator Boat Duel
- Winter Games
- Basewars.

Total Spent: $15.
You got a lot a stuff for just $15
Dot hack//G.U. Vol 2 Reminisce Brand New & Sealed - $10

Should I take it?
I'd take it. If anything, just let it sit awhile. It'll only grow in value.

Someone is selling a 52" Vizio HDTV for $360, says it's NIB - says they won it and don't need it since they already have a good TV. I'm guessing it's a GV52L. For the price it's incredible - a bit too good to be true. I sent him an email last night, waiting to see if he responds.

Anyone have advice on what to do when I get there? If it really is a prize he won and it's NIB, it won't be set up to test. I'd be expecting some hassle there since it's a pretty big tv to just set up to test.... I guess I'd have to just be firm on that. I can't imagine paying nearly $400 for something I'm not sure is working.

i'd stay away if he's not willing to let anyone try it, not even take it out of the box for 5 minutes and turn it on and hook something up to it.

that's alot of money to lose if it turns out to be a lemon

Not sure if he would have let me test it or not - he never contacted me and the ads gone now so I guess someone else got it. If it was for real, man, that's a really sweet deal.

eh i was gonna get a fat ps2 for $40 and it turned out it was the same guy who sold the super nintendo from under me and once again the guy stopped responding to me....i don't get it.

Someone was quicker than you both times? I have a feeling there are people scanning CL and other sites like it 24/7 to find deals and they pounce the second these ads are posted.

What irks the shit out of me though, are the people who know how to POST an ad, but can't seem to understand how the fuck to delete it after they've sold stuff. Or they'll mark it 'item no longer available', instead of just deleting it.

It makes no fuckin' sense whatsoever.

Seriously! When I was looking for a place I once called someone about an ad and they acted all upset because I called and the place was gone. Guess what - remove the ad, no more calls, genius!

oh yea, the ones who write "RE: _________"

"sorry no more emails it's sold already"

"please stop emailing me ahh!!!! its gone!!! stop!!!"

hey buddy, see that big bright 'DELETE' button? click it and the emails will end. How stupid can someone be.....

Off CL:

DS Lite (Black, perfect condition, just missing the GBA slot cover thing)
charger
ds browser complete
contra 4 complete
retro atari cart
crash boom bang cart
super mario advance cart
$50 total

I'm picking up Final Fantasy 3 and Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime for $15 sometime this week. This will be the third time I'm buying Rocket Slime. First time it was stolen, second time it was lost in my ex girlfriend's house, so I'm never seeing it again.

Another missed opportunity - DS Lite which was painted from Pink to Green; had some of the paint wearing off and a complete copy of Pokemon Diamond. $35 worked down from $50.

The ad was from like May 15th. May fucking 15th. I messaged the guy yesterday, said I was really busy and would pick it up today - wake up to an e-mail that says "sorry its gone." WTF?

Right now I'm trying to get a PS2 Fat for $10, and 2 DRE PS2 Fats for $2.50 each. Seems like I always end up finding the best deals and then get screwed out of them at the last second, lol.

How much should I offer for a dreamcast with 2 controllers, a n64 with no controllers. I mainly am looking to flip this stuff because I recently got a n64 and not much into dreamcast

I don't know if those systems will net you heavy profit, especially with the N64 missing the controllers. But, I would say offer like $2 for the N64 system, and maybe $5 for the Dreamcast?
